Aquarina ran across the crowd of people in the village. Most of the people instantly recognized her. She was distinct enough from the rest that it was easy to find her too.

"Oh, there she is!"

"Aquarina, good morning!"

"The Hero’s daughter!"

Experience tales at

"Well, how are you doing today?"

"You look strong!"

Aquarina felt a bit overwhelmed by all the attentions she would get all the time whenever she walked around the village after she passed all her training.

She had become an "honorable member" of the tribe now, and she was also both young and strong, so she naturally brought a lot of attention as a talented youngster.

Well, and she was the daughter of Nepheline and Shade, two heroes!

"Ah, hi everyone! I’m good…" Aquarina forced a smile as she tried to be friendly, although it was quite clear she didn’t really want to talk with these people.

"Ugh, is this how Sylphy felt every day when she was being given attention by the entirety of Agartha?" Aquarina realized. "But she always was happy and smiling no matter what… And she was always so nice and attentive too."

Aquarina recalled how Sylphy acted with every citizen that greeted her, even people she didn’t even knew or had seen before.

She would stop every time they asked her something, and would greet every time they greeted her, every single person, even if it took a while.

Sylphy would always listen to the troubles of the people and would do anything she could to solve their issues as well.

Even past her mother’s little test where she had to do a lot of stuff for people, she continued doing it without even being told to.

Despite how much she said she didn’t want to be a ruler or something, Sylphy was someone so attentive and patient to her people, that Aquarina thought she would make an amazing ruler.

Or perhaps even a Queen…

She gripped her fists tightly.

"But if she becomes a Queen, will she even have time for me?"

Aquarina dreamed of living with Sylphy somewhere far away from town, have their own little farm, garden, and a huge house where they could live together.

Maybe open an orphanage close to a city and live there too, raising and helping kids that were victims of war.

But the more she thought about it, Aquarina thought it seemed a bit hard, she would be limiting Sylphy’s growth and potential by imposing her own dreams upon her…

"I wonder what you want to do in the future though…"

As she looked far away, she noticed that she was getting close to Silvia’s house.

"Well… whatever Sylphy wants to do, that’s fine by me!" she thought. "Even if she’ll have less time for me… I’ll stay at her side and help her."

Aquarina not only loved Sylphy, but her admiration towards her grew a lot over the years. And unlike other people, aside from growing stronger, Aquarina didn’t had many ambitions for the future or something.

She was actually quite content of how her life was already, and she was only looking forward to adventure across the world, test her strength, have fun with her friends, and be happy in general.

However, she wasn’t clueless about how this world was, and about the threat of the many foes, including the gods themselves…

"I wonder what Sylphy’s ambitions are…" she thought. "She had never told me much other than wanting to make people happy and… Hm, I guess she doesn’t like discrimination. Well, me neither! Right, we were going to make a better world together…"

Yeah, she remembered now, that one night when she talked about what she wanted for the future. She dreamed of a world where demons weren’t discriminated.

A world without wars, a world where the demon king and the heroes no longer were chosen, where people weren’t controlled by the gods or the evil gods, or even whoever else is plotting things.

"Even with all our power, is it even possible to achieve though?"

Aquarina wasn’t a bad person or anything, but maybe she wasn’t as idealistic as Sylphy, she didn’t consider the world or even society as something she could change unlike her girlfriend.

"I guess that’s why she’s so special," she blushed a bit. "Nobody is really like her…"

And that’s why Aquarina also wanted to be a bit like her as well. Although she was a bit rough around the edges, she had helped people whenever she can, and she’ll continue doing so.

"SILVIAAAAA!"

And right now she was calling one of those people she wanted to help, her friend Silvia, who had a difficult time creating a contract with a Spirit.

She hoped that today or perhaps in the following days, she could help her get one, and Justicio too!

After all, they were her partners in the Inheritance Trial, so she also wanted them as strong as possible.

"A-Aquarina! Ah, you’re here already…" Silvia appeared from her room’s window. "I just woke up, hahaha…"

"Eeh?! Come on hurry!" Said Aquarina. "I’m bored! Let’s get going!"

"Wait a bit will you!" Silvia sighed. "I have to take a bath and everything… Why so early?!"

"Uuugh… Then I’ll go wake up Justicio too, might as well!" Aquarina ran to her friend’s house.

It was the same thing, but Justicio was actually still sleeping.

"JUSTICIOOO!"

"Aaah! Aquarina?! What hour is it?"

"It’s already eleven in the morning!"

"Ah… Uh, I wanted to sleep at least another two hours…"

"Come on!"

"Okay, okay…"

Justicio yawned.

As Aquarina sighed, crossing her arms, Pyuku appeared by her side.

"Hahah, you should have guessed this would have happened Aquarina, your friends aren’t really like you or Sylphy… or everyone else."

"They’re so lazy! Sylphy, Zack, and mostly everyone else was always up early in the morning!"

"I guess they aren’t pressured to wake up early like back in Agartha. It was a big city and everything, so people had to wake up early to start everything. But it’s a bit different here, I would say it is more relaxed."

"Hmm…"

Aquarina made her way back to Silvia with Justicio, who didn’t even bother taking a bath, Aquarina didn’t really care anyways.

"Nom, nom…"

He was even eating a huge roasted wyvern leg his parents made for him this morning, eating it while drinking cold cactus juice from a large jug.

"SILVIAAAA!"

As she called for Silvia, she came running from her house.

"Okay, I’m ready! Let’s go!"

The mischievous trio was finally on their way to another small adventure.
