Re-Awakening: I Ascend with a Legendary class
Chapter 413 - 413: Difficulty UpAs soon as Natalia returned from the dimension after winning, she saw the resource turning into a light and entering her, floating within her source space, ready to be used by her.
“You really found it…” An individual with two large black-eyes and hanging light-bulb like antenna muttered as he saw Natalia getting the resource.
Natalia turned to him. ‘An Immortal King, eh?’
She knew someone was following her as she was blindly running around, just watching enough not to crash herself.
“Well, you wouldn’t accept my challenge, I suppose.”
Natalia rolled her eyes. “Of course not.”
Even if she could match up to average Immortal Kings with her current combat power, she wasn’t arrogant enough to think she could beat an elite Immortal King as an Immortal who just broke through and wasn’t even early-stage as she practically had no increase in stats yet.
“Fair,” the man nodded and left.
“I’ll take your challenge on the last day, though. Prepared to lose at that time,” Natalia said with a cheeky voice as she consumed the resource she just got, increasing her Body Constitution by 100.
There was another person in this giant head, but sensing that the ever-permeating aura of the resource that was everywhere was suddenly gone, he left.
Natalia also left the giant statue-head after five minutes with a satisfied expression. ‘That was a crazy resource. Only took five minutes to completely absorb it and stabilize myself.’

As Natalia floated above and looked around, her eyes sparkled. ‘So many ruins…yeah, it should be possible to reach the peak of Immortal rank while we are here.’
…
At another ruin, Admiral Rudra floated in his semi-armored form and gauntlets.
He suppresses his own combat power to make the challenge difficult, showing the spirit to improve constantly.
The other old Monsters, Grom Breakers, and the rest of the Regalons found resources and won, earning themselves a boost.
The challenges were easy and everyone was winning…until five hours passed by and the saturation point reached 50%.
[The resources within the mini-ruins have been enhanced as well as the Monsters, who will have 50% higher stats and will spawn two challenge Monsters instead of one.]
The difficulty instantly spiked, and within just an hour, the viewership of the streams doubled.
Even Regalons found it difficult because the Monsters spawned matched their parameters and ability powers, and there were two instead of one with 50% higher stats.
But there was one way to reduce the difficulty of aquiring the resources despite this, and both groups adapted that method almost instantly after gathering up at different spots…and it was about to start a nasty chain of sequences.
…
Inside a mini-ruin that led downward into a maze-like abyss with intersecting passages, Marcus and Maya roamed together.
Since the difficulty spiked up, people made groups for easy acquisition of resources.
“Are we still being followed?” Maya asked as she frowned.
“Yeah, babe. And they are going to get fucked if they decided to mess with us,” Marcus’s eyes glinted ruthlessly.
The only way to avoid the spiked difficulty was getting challenged by another powerhouses, which would change the duel format and the Monster would disappear.
As such, going as a group of two or more was better and faster overall.
Following Marcus and Maya were two Immortal-rank individuals. One was from Trelfjor Clan as indicated by the exotic chromatic hair, thick long tail, and tall figure.
The other man, however, looked almost human with black hair. He merely has two jagged horns horns as an addition. Still, this person inherently gave off a more powerful aura than the other, indicating he had a stronger arsenal of powers.
These two trailed Marcus and Maya from the aura trail they left.
“What do you say, will they surrender before we kill them, or we will be able to kill them before they surrender?” the black-haired individual asked with a grin.
“I’m sure brother Vanir will be able to finish them off easily,” the Trelfjor clan man said with a laugh, his expression subtly fawning.
“We’ll see,” Vanir casually replied. “I heard a bit about this House of Regalon, so I hope they can at least live up to the hype.”
“Well, it seems they stopped moving,” Trelfjor clan man’s eyes flickered as his tracking ability showed two of them stopping. “Yeah, they found the resource. Let’s go.”
The two of them vanished as they sped up and soon arrived at the small cavern with a pond, atop which a dimensional frame had manifested.
Maya was inside while Marcus was outside.
Turning to the duo, Marcus showed his middle finger, “You want to fight us, right? Come on.”
Marcus turned to the dimensional frame and challenged Maya, which was autometically accepted as both of them were Immortal-rank.
The two Monsters Maya was about to face vanished.
“Looks like they are eager to die,” Vanir coldly grinned. “Listen, Arnos. we are going all out and try to kill them before they can surrender, but we have to start by some talk first and get an additional challenge from spectators of Arcadia Spectrum. Some of my family members there are watching.”
“Got it,” Arnos nodded.
And then, both of them initiated a challenge in the dimensional frame as they also entered inside.
In reality, this was an all-out brawl, but since they were a team, it would be a two versus two battle. Still, only the the last one standing would win, so whichever duo won, one of them would have to surrender so the other could get the resource, which could increase Soul Constitution by 200—A juicy bounty.
