RE-AWAKENING: I ASCEND WITH A LEGENDARY CLASS
Chapter 342 - 342: Hell & HeavenAlmond led the Grim Breakers and cleared the 7th Floor’s heroic challenge within 10 minutes.
That was because he decided to let Grim Breakers fight more under the restrictiveness of going to lower floors.
Naturally, his support was the main reason why they cleared it fast.
It started with him scanning the entire floor by releasing a spatial pulse and then collecting the special items for the boss summon by teleporting swiftly.
It took five minutes.
And then the next minutes, everyone fought together for the first time in a long time. The Heroic Challenge was similar to the 6th floor, where they had to survive and deal damage. Killing it was impossible due to its massive vitality and time limit.
Almond also landed attacks, terrifying powerful ones for instant single-target damage. His new sword which he had created using Spirit Forge Factory and then improved with Spirit Animation was his strongest weapon.
The rewards were as juicy as ever, and their original rank without Almond was refreshed in the leaderboard, reaching first rank!
Almond wanted to get as many juicy rewards as possible, not for himself but for others.
He didn’t need the rewards here, of course, unless they turned out to be helpful to him.
Almond didn’t want to learn any new elements. He didn’t need to. What he needed was to increase his already owned elemental masteries higher.
All items were automatically devoured by him because he could create the best weapons easily. He gave everyone a set right off the bat, made from Immortal-rank Spirits!
Although those weapons were also suppressed and their full power sealed according to Grimworld Tutorial’s law, they were still the most powerful ones one could get!
Once the group reached the 11th floor, they slowed down slightly because other Grim Breakers needed to level up to reach the requirement, so everyone also spent some time killing boss monsters as Almond took the groups directly to the big boss areas.
In a total of two and a half hours, the group cleared the 13th floor’s Heroic Challenge and reached the 14th Floor, where other old monsters and top powerhouses were, having reached the peak of Epic-rank level 200.
Naturally, their stats weren’t maxed out, but they hurried because they were more powerful than ever, and the urgency produced by this Phase 1 event—Battlefield of the Mightiest.
“Let’s go to my Throne Territory and rest. There are plenty of rooms in the Bloomshard castle.”
“I am dead. Fuck you, Almond,” Natalia said, her face pale, and she fainted right thereafter spewing blood.
“Take us back. Everyone needs rest,” Lily chuckled.
Except for Lily, everyone looked pale and dead tired. Nobody even wanted to speak, and their opened eyes looked absolutely dead, indicating they were completely drained of their mental power. They were barely holding on to stand because of their instincts and awake consciousness that was on the verge of collapsing just like Natalia. She spent it all on cursing Almond before dropping dead.
“Take us back. Everyone needs rest,” Lily chuckled.
Almond wryly smiled and waved his hand as everyone entered the Sanctuary Area, right in his Throne Territory, using his territory teleport function.
With another wave of hand, he sent everyone into different rooms before using Sylvia’s power of healing since she was bound within him at the moment, allowing him to borrow Sylvia’s system to execute her skills.
“You really showed them hell this time,” Lily laughed as she wrapped her arms around Almond. “It’s going to be interesting to see them after they wake up.”
She kissed him and whispered, “But I am still energetic.”
“Of course, you are,” Almond pulled her waist and squeezed her against him. “But I can still drain you, you know?”
In the next moment, Almond teleported both of them into the Garden of Peace as they leaned against a comfy couch on the big tree’s branch.
“But we should take a bit of rest as well.” Almond smiled as Lily rested her head on his chest, and he locked her legs with his.
“Yep. Also, I am curious about one thing. You had a potent healing skill, but what you showed today was crazy. Everyone died several times today, at least, but you brought them back to their full vitality and mana just before they would die. What was that?”
Almond chuckled.
Although the rewards were juicy, Almond had squeezed every inch out of them by constantly challenging battles with these quick floor clearings.
He didn’t help them but actually created trouble for them during Big Boss fights after the 10th floor. They had better equipment and were powerful, so there wasn’t enough challenge, and Almond wanted to push them to the limits they never thought existed.
Everyone lost their limbs multiple times and suffered fatal injuries, but Almond, who had mastered Spirit Animation, could easily heal them from the gravest of injuries as long as they were alive and their soul was in them with his new skill, Whisper of Life, based on Spirit Syringe, but completely evolved. So having stored the abundant vitality of monsters, he healed them with potent animation healing, which was filling in blank information or removing foreign information A.K.A injuries and foreign negative effects by reading the target’s memories using absorbed pure vitality from other monsters, which was extracted in the same sense—absorbing memories of monsters’ blood, thereby stealing it meta-physically!
Spirit Syringe worked that way, so he had also wondered what if he created a Spirit, not from copying, but from absorbing someone entirely?!
Almond had realized that he literally had the most powerful healing power in a sense after mastering Spirit Animation, and he knew that this class source that came from the Maw of Forgotten Oblivion had crazy potential and much more to explore.
Riftveil Grimblade was his own product that was entirely up to him to develop further, but Spirit Animation was not. It was something complete, far beyond his understanding.
He acquired comprehensive knowledge of Spirit Animation, but he also knew there was more, so he had to discover it instead of developing it like Riftveil Grimblade.
Having told Lily about his Spirit Animation, she said with a grin, “I am doing the same, but my focus is entirely on Dreadspire Warlock. Actually, I call it something because I’ve developed it further after making it reach Legendary rank.”
“Oh? Tell me,” Almond’s eyes sparkled, a grin on his face, “You developed your specialized class crazy. It’s already more powerful than my Riftveil Grimblade in terms of source potency.”
Almond’s focus was mostly on his Spirit Animation, but Lily was entirely drowned in developing her specialized class according to her vision!
“Mmfm…if you are going to squeeze, do it harder,” Lily said with reddened cheeks and a pout.
Indeed, Almond’s hand had been wandering and playing with her twin peaks while they talked.
Lily turned around after backing a bit, her head in front of his stomach. Looking downward, she flicked it. “What are you gonna do about this?”
“I’m gonna do this!”
On the couch, the only thing that remained were their clothes, but a certain bedroom on the top floor was going to break again.
Taking note of the time, the duo stopped after two hours and went to shower.
“So, what’s the name of your class now?”
“Parade of Dreadspire Kingdom. This will be its name once I make it reach the Mythical rank, and it’ll be soon. I am close to envisioning and understanding the last part.”
“Damn, that’s awesome!”
*Pat*
“Was slapping my butt your way of patting me?”
“Yes, ma’am.”
“I like it.”
