"I thought that you two had a fight but here I caught you two doing… another thing."

Catherine didn't know how to express herself correctly.

When she heard as to why the emergency stairs were usually off-limits, she scoffed it off, thinking that the teachers were just being paranoid. Who in their right mind would do it with their partner within the school?

'You haven't felt the heat before so how could you understand.'

Iesa internally replied to Catherine's thought.

"Well, whatever, next time, just don't do it in the school!" Catherine sternly said as she looked at Teren too.

When she was about to leave, her hand was grabbed by Iesa, stopping her.

She looked at the girl who stopped her while the girl herself was not looking at her but her partner in crime, Teren.

"You can go before me… I just have something to talk to Catherine about."

She said bashfully as if forced to depart from him.

"Something to talk to me?" Catherine waved her hand, removing Iesa's hold.

Teren wanted to ask what it was but he wasn't as dense to not be aware that Iesa wanted to talk to Catherine in private.

"Alright…" Teren didn't give any complaints and walked up, about to walk around him but Iesa suddenly grabbed him too before kissing him, surprising him. Obviously, although embarrassed to do it in front of Catherine, Teren didn't resist even when Iesa's invasive tongue coiled around his.

With his eyes closed, he didn't know that Iesa was staring at Catherine like a villain. The latter was gritting her teeth and clenching her fists in anger.

'Is she showing off in front of me!?'

After a long while, Iesa hugged him before reluctantly separating.

The door closed, leaving only Iesa and Catherine within the emergency stairs.

"So…? What do you want to talk about?"

Catherine could feel her blood boiling, yet, she restrained herself. She felt like if she try to start a fight, she would be the one to lose.

"When did you start to like Teren?"

Iesa got straight to the point. Even though Catherine didn't give any answers to her questions earlier, the psychic was not bothered. Even if Catherine did answer, Iesa would listen more to what her mind would say.

"Like? What are you on about?"

Catherine was clearly taken aback since that was surprising. Unlike Eline and Mira, Iesa shouldn't know anything about what happened at all. Of course, that's not true.

"Don't try to lie, I wouldn't stop you from liking him, in fact, I will encourage you to do so from now on."

Iesa said with a solemn face, not letting Catherine think that she was joking. But even so, Catherine has no idea why would Iesa say that.

"I want you to be Teren's girlfriend."

Iesa pointed at Catherine, giving her more questions than answers.

"You're crazy…" Catherine scoffed, "Why would I be his g-girlfriend and why would I listen to you to be his g-girlfriend?" she looked away as she crossed her arms.

"I don't like it either."

Iesa said honestly.

"But I have no choice. Teren is falling in love with a certain girl. I think it's good that she left on her own. However, she will eventually return. Not only that, but I'm sure in the future, Teren will meet more women."

Catherine already had some questions from the start so she was unable to follow. However, she understood what Iesa was trying to say.

"So, you want me to be his girlfriend in name only and to fend off other girls? Can't you do that by yourself?"

Although she argued, Catherine felt a bitter taste in her mouth as she said that.

"Idiot! I would've if I could!"

Catherine was genuinely shocked when Iesa distressedly shouted back. The latter breathed deeply to calm herself down before continuing.

"It's complicated. We are supposed to be enemies. I am supposed to hate him. We need space."

"... but… you just had sex."

Catherine pointed out the obvious.

"Y-yes, I know that. It was because of the heat." Iesa didn't know if she should be happy or ashamed, "That would be the last time. After all, we're about to clash or something like that."

"I'm not following…"

"Have you felt the heat before?"

Iesa asked even though she already knew that answer. She wanted Catherine to realize it herself.

"The heat?"

"Being horny, the heat. Are you a child?"

"I know what heat means! I'm just shocked you have to bring that up."

Iesa cleared her throat before explaining to save herself from shame just like Teren. After all, her mind was full of lust earlier and was not thinking straight unlike Teren who was already experiencing post-nut clarity. Now that Teren's gone, she finally realized what she had done. She has no regrets but still…

"I'm just saying that you haven't experienced it. Once you experienced it, you'd want it even in public."

"I-in public? I will never become that shameless." Catherine determinedly said.

"Hmph! You will soon understand."

"Do you mean about being Teren's girlfriend?"

"... yes." Iesa nodded after some hesitation.

"Why me?"

"It's because you're one of the few who fell for him even though you know some of his true nature."

Catherine didn't know if she should laugh at that.

"Only twisted women will fall for a twisted man like Teren." Iesa then commented as if she was talking to herself.

"Are you saying that I'm also twisted?" Catherine was confused.

'Does she know about my family's current state? No, even if she knows that, that's not enough to call me twisted.'

As a reply to Catherine's words, Iesa spoke.

"I called you twisted because you stayed earlier."

This made Catherine frown as she immediately explained herself.

"Alright, the reason why I stayed earlier was that I was shocked. Who wouldn't freeze after witnessing your classmates fucking each other in school where they should be having Physics Classes?"

"I said don't lie to me." Iesa put pressure on her words, making Catherine sweat a little.

"What… what do you want me to say?"

Yet, Catherine still put up a strong front.

"Seeing Teren's face in ecstasy made you excited, correct?"

Question marks came out of Catherine's head. She seriously doesn't have any idea what Iesa was saying.

"Oh, I guess that still lies within the subconscious. You're still normal." Iesa pondered for a moment before asking Catherine, "But, do you know why we use the words 'twisted' for people who are abnormal, deranged, or… evil?"

"Stop talking nonsense already…"

Iesa then made a twisting motion with her hands.

"It's because they were once 'untwisted'. No one is truly ever born evil." she then whispered, "Except for the devils, that is." before continuing, "So why is there evil in the world?"

At that point, Catherine had enough.

"I don't have any idea why you're being philosophical right now but I cannot be Teren's girlfriend."

"..."

Catherine slightly raised her chin.

"He will have to fall for me first too. Once I'm sure it's mutual, I will beg him myself even if I have to. We're not going to be a thing just because you decided us to be."

"Too… mutual… hm?" Iesa smirked at Catherine, "You sure are not good at censoring words."

"Huh? N-no, it was just hypothetically-... you know what!? I don't care!"

Catherine just exited the place, stomping, leaving Iesa alone within the emergency stairs. Upon exiting and turning, she saw that Eline and Mira were leaning behind a pillar, a blindspot to their classroom.

"Did something happen? Teren said he didn't want to talk about it." Eline said before Mira added.

"Also, he seemed embarrassed."

"Well, he should be!" Catherine just replied before returning to the class.

Meanwhile, Iesa didn't leave at first since she was curious about something. She had already noticed the flaw in her logic earlier herself.

Fellow twisted are the only ones who can fall for another twisted. However, Catherine was far from being twisted.

Is Iesa's belief wrong? Or… did Catherine fall for Teren's 'untwisted' side?

"Is that a good thing?"

Iesa didn't know so she just left it as is and went back to class.

Immediately after seeing Teren's face, Iesa's face glowed up as if she didn't have that talk with Catherine earlier.

Upon returning to class, she noticed that the room was in a strange atmosphere. Reading some random classmate's thoughts, she learned what transpired.

She was about to say something to the one who caused the atmosphere but soon found that Lina herself was shivering.

'D-dehian, Teren's not doing anything right?'

Iesa: 'You're scared of him?'

Lina: 'Can't I?! I can't believe I was so fucking lustful towards him!'

Iesa: 'Yeah, but that cloak seemed to be taken down now. So, what about that thing you said last time about making his dick your personal Lolipop?'

Lina: 'I didn't know what I was thinking, alright!? He wouldn't get angry if I leave out of class, right? Just a little bit more and I think I'm going to pee myself…'

Iesa rolled her eyes.

'Well, you're scaring others with your glare. You shouldn't have come to class if you've finally realized your fear.'

Lina: 'Wouldn't he… wouldn't he think that I'm skipping school because I'm avoiding him? He might visit me if he misunderstood me.'

'No, he wouldn't. Right now, the source of your fear is being embarrassed by what happened while remembering the delight of it.'

Lina: 'How would you know that? I thought you can't hear his thoughts!?'

Iesa just gave a happy smile.

'I know it because I am too. We just made up.'
