ραпdα nᴏνɐ| сom "Good morning, Sir Teren."
The car window rolled down and Eron greeted Teren from the driving seat.
"Good morning to you too."
Teren replied, making Eron reveal a surprised yet pleasant face.
"Sorry for picking you up like this. You may not be able to see them but some SSDA agents are working behind the scenes, visiting door to door to either silence affected innocent people or take them away if they don't comply."
He explained after he started driving.
"It's fine, I like the slow pace too."
"Slow, huh. Well, considering that you can rip through space, this is very slow."
Eron made a light comment. He had yet to know that Teren lost his Spirits.
"... how far is it?"
"Hm... our eldest is bedridden within our home. We can't let him stay outside with his vulnerable state after all."
Thinking about this, Eron sweated a little. Ivan agreed to let Teren within the household.
'That idiot should be right on agreeing to this.'
He thought as he cautiously looked at Teren in the front mirror. They have to take the risk. After all, if their eldest brother dies, they would lose their strongest powerhouse. On the other hand, letting Teren in would not only endanger their eldest brother but their entire household.
At the same time though, they would be able to face Teren with their full power, excluding their eldest.
Ivan believed that the entire force within their house is an army that even Teren wouldn't be able to match against, especially in his 'weakened' state. Million was unable to kill Teren but Ivan wasn't scared.
However, if the snake they let in did bite them that would be the worst-case scenario.
After some hours of driving, they finally reached the Drago House's, well, house. But even when they were still far from their destination, Teren could see that it was not an ordinary house. Does an ordinary house have four floors and almost has one hundred meters in length? If the width is even just half of its length, this structure would be ten times bigger than what should be considered a mansion!
This is definitely not a house, and it's even more than a mansion, the structure was aking to a modern castle.
"Welcome to the Drago House, Sir Teren."
Eron said as he drove the car through the gate. But upon looking at the front mirror, he saw that Teren didn't have any special reaction.
"Ahahaha... I expected more of a reaction."
"Hm? No, this is grandiose compared to all the houses I've seen in comparison. But... I've been to the Central so I guess this isn't new to me."
Teren didn't expect Eron to give attention to his reactions. If he knew, he could've forged one earlier. After all, this structure is grandiose compared to common households.
Eron then parked near one of the many front double doors it has.
From a certain distance, Teren could see that smoke arises while people were beneath that rising cloud.
"Youngsters are trained every day so this is their daily morning routine. They have been going for hours now."
Eron explained while Teren got interested. He squinted his eyes and focused to see that there's a formation of people with distances aware from one another. With a horse stance, they would open their mouths and release a fiery breath. Sweat glides all over their body, glistening under the rising sun.
These people were too far and were focused to notice that someone was watching them.
Soon right after, the double door opened revealing the insides of the grand mansion. As he expected, the insides were luxurious. Over some tens of meters were rising stairs that welcomes visitors to the second floor.
Looking to the side, Teren saw that there was even an elevator.
But that's not the most interesting part there. What interests Teren was the fact that there are numerous people inside. Not so many but with how big the mansion is, Teren could guess that there are more than just a thousand people living inside this gigantic house.
Seeing Eron enter the house, the people that they encounter would bow their heads and greet him.
"Good morning, Third Boss."
Sometimes, Eron would nod, sometimes, he would ignore them. With so many people who would greet him, if he either replied or nodded to them all, he would be like a broken radio or a bobblehead figurine.
"Let's meet Ivan first before I introduce you to these people. The common Drago people don't know anything about you. They might know who you are based on their studies which include knowing both the AWR and CWR, however, they wouldn't be able to recognize you. We didn't even know what you look like until recently... when we finally remembered who you are."
While on their way to the elevator, Eron explained in a low voice.
"Only the executives would know you so please, don't get offended by their reactions."
He said and at the same time, the elevator opened before they got close to it. People in suits came out and the people wearing training uniforms greeted them.
"By their reactions? What kind of reactions-"
"Ah!"
A short scream resounded within the hall. This took some attention. Teren and Eron looked at the source and saw that the person leading the group of people in suits looked at Teren with a terrified expression.
He covered his face right after before revealing an amicable face. However, this face seemed to be forced.
"That kind of reaction..."
Eron said.
"Good morning, Third Boss and..."
The person in lead greatly bowed down but Eron just put his hand up to let him stand straight.
"No need to greet him yet. We will introduce him to everyone later. Let us through."
"Yes, Third Boss!"
With a sidestep of the leading person, everyone else followed, making a path for Eron and Teren. It was obvious that Eron is treated like a prince around here.. Well, considering his bloodline, he's not far from being a prince if not for his gangster-like appearance and interests in mainstream media.
