Primordial Harem System

Chapter 452 - 452: Yi Tianyun

“Fuck! FUCK! FUCKKKK!” Liang Hui’s face changed as soon as he saw Shen Yuan entering the palace, “That bastard got the treasure from the forest zone and now here! Fucking hell! Will he ransack this place or what?” He wanted to pull his hair in frustration.

The two disciples didn’t dare to interrupt him, but one of them still took a step forward and whispered, “Senior Brother, should we inform Senior Brother Wu Han about this matter?”

Liang Hui quickly calmed down and nodded, “Yes, I will wait here for Shen Yuan to exit. One of you go and inform him about this matter.”

But just then he thought about something else. He took out a jade slip and recorded some information on it. “And here, give it to him. I have recorded all the details on this; he will make the decision on what to do afterwards.”

The two disciples looked at each other and one of them bid farewell.

Meanwhile, the surrounding disciples were making similar moves, either informing their seniors or camping outside for Shen Yuan to exit. They at least wanted to hear what he got from the most mysterious place of the World Raiser Mystique Realm.

Shen Yuan stepped inside the palace-like structure, instantly feeling a wave of ancient Qi wash over him.

The hall within was vast, grand, yet solemn. Towering pillars stood on either side, carved intricately with ancient runes that glowed faintly, illuminating the area in gentle, ethereal light.

His gaze swept slowly across the hall, quickly locking onto the center of the vast chamber. There, suspended gently in mid-air, was an orb glowing softly with brilliant azure radiance.

“This…” Shen Yuan’s eyes narrowed slightly, intrigue clearly visible in his expression. He approached cautiously, observing every small detail of the hall as he moved. His steps echoed softly, sounding through the silent expanse.

Just as Shen Yuan arrived a few meters away from the floating orb, a sudden wave of powerful Qi erupted throughout the hall. The formations embedded within the palace’s walls activated simultaneously, runes lighting up like stars.

Whoosh!

A gentle, azure mist spiraled from the orb, gradually coalescing into a transparent figure standing calmly before Shen Yuan. The figure wore ancient robes, marked with intricate symbols of a bygone era, exuding an air of boundless authority and wisdom.

The spirit calmly opened its eyes, revealing deep, insightful pupils that seemed capable of peering into the depths of one’s soul. His gentle gaze carefully scanned Shen Yuan, studying him thoroughly.

After a long moment, the transparent figure exhaled deeply, profound astonishment clearly reflected on his face.

“What an extraordinary youth…” The spirit murmured softly, his eyes shining brightly with amazement. “To think such an unimaginable genius would finally come to my fading remnant soul.”

Shen Yuan politely cupped his fists in greeting, respectfully asking, “Senior, may this junior know your identity?”

The figure smiled warmly, nodding slightly in acknowledgment. “I am the remnant spirit of Yi Tianyun, the last Sect Leader of the World Raising Sect. Countless eons have passed since my sect was razed, yet I’ve waited all these eras to pass our legacy forward.”

Shen Yuan’s eyes shone with understanding, calmly nodding. “Junior Shen Yuan greets Senior Yi Tianyun.”

Yi Tianyun gently smiled in response, his tone becoming serious as he continued speaking.

“Shen Yuan, you truly possess unimaginable potential. Multiple peak-tier physiques, exceptional comprehension, and—above all—a mystical bloodline even I cannot begin to fathom. Your potential is beyond even my wildest imagination.”

Shen Yuan raised an eyebrow slightly, silently marveling at the ancient spirit’s perception.

Seeing his reaction, Yi Tianyun chuckled gently. “No need for surprise. At my peak, my divine sense was unmatched. Even this fading remnant can glimpse your extraordinary potential. Perhaps you alone can truly inherit the lost arts of my World Raiser Sect.”

Shen Yuan respectfully inquired, “Senior, may I know what exactly happened to your illustrious sect?”

Yi Tianyun sighed deeply, melancholy clear within his eyes. “Long ago, our World Raiser Sect was unmatched in Formation Arts. We had cultivated and perfected our formations through countless eras, reaching unparalleled heights. Even Mahayana-level cultivators respected our sect greatly.”

His voice deepened with sorrow as he recounted, “However, we inadvertently offended a young genius, Jiao Heng—the most fearsome genius of our era. After merely a few years, he personally descended, destroying our entire sect single-handedly with his axe. My disciples and fellow elders perished, and our accumulated knowledge of formation arts was almost lost entirely.”

Shen Yuan’s expression turned intrigued upon hearing Jiao Heng’s name again. It seemed that the story circulating in the outside world is closer to the truth than he had expected.

Yi Tianyun continued, determination clearly visible in his gaze. “However, before my body and soul fully dissipated, I used the last moments of my soul power to consolidate the entire formation legacy of our sect into a single artifact—the Seven Heaven Extremity Jade Slip.”

Shen Yuan’s eyes widened slightly, fully comprehending the importance of such an artifact. “An artifact containing the entirety of the World Raiser Sect’s profound knowledge…this truly is invaluable.”

Yi Tianyun nodded solemnly, raising his hand gently. From the glowing orb emerged a pristine jade slip, floating gracefully toward Shen Yuan.

“I only ask one thing in return, Shen Yuan,” Yi Tianyun stated gravely. “Accept our legacy, do whatever you want with our unsurpassable formations, and use them to help the Renjian World cultivators defend against the Abyss Demons when the Great Abyss War inevitably erupts again. Can you promise me this?”

Shen Yuan’s gaze sharpened significantly, feeling the enormous weight of responsibility. Yet, he unhesitatingly stepped forward, bowing respectfully and taking the jade slip gently into his grasp.

“Senior Yi Tianyun, this junior solemnly swears—I shall master your sect’s profound formations and wield them in defense of humanity against the Abyssal Demons. I will not dishonor your trust.”

Hearing Shen Yuan’s sincere promise, Yi Tianyun’s transparent figure showed clear relief and gratitude.

“Thank you, Shen Yuan. My final wish is fulfilled. I can now pass in peace, knowing our legacy will live on in capable hands.”

His remnant spirit gradually became increasingly faint, yet his eyes remained warm, gazing kindly at Shen Yuan.

“Live well, cultivate earnestly, and remember… formations are the path of creation and control. Used wisely, they can shelter entire worlds.”

With his final words, Yi Tianyun’s figure dispersed entirely, gently merging back into the glowing orb, which faded into Shen Yuan’s hands, leaving behind only silence.

Holding the Seven Heaven Extremity Jade Slip tightly, Shen Yuan exhaled a deep breath, eyes shining with excitement.

[You gained something truly precious today, Yuan’er.]

Yue Lan praised softly, pride clear in her voice.

[And with nearly no cost. You were going to fight with the demons anyways. This legacy will only help you further.]

Shen Yuan nodded softly, “Yes, I won’t let those demon bastards live well. And now that I got the formations, I should strengthen the sect first.”

Boom!

Just as he was about to turn around and leave, a sudden pressure descended in front of him. He turned around quickly, taking out his sword. But his body paused as he saw it was Yi Tianyun.

“…Senior?” He looked at him in confusion.
