This little detail that the Elus race had thought of well in advance even before constructing the palace made Shane feel that the Elus-race was more considerate than humans were to other races. They had ensured that the guests visiting them for the first time wouldn't face any discomfort.

This was, however, most likely something they had learned from their several millennials of experience.

He noted down that they would have to do something similar, once they allowed more ambassador's from other races to visit Igra, which was currently not desired!

Right now, humanity tried to keep the precise location of their planet well hidden to prevent other races from finding out Igra's coordinates.

So far, they had only allowed Forest elves to visit Igra just once to strengthen the interracial connection.

However, what Shane never understood was how the Dark Ice Elven or other races that tried to manipulate humans to reveal their planet's coordinates hadn't got wind of their exact location.

Otherwise, it would not even be a question whether humanity would have gone extinct by now or not!

Maybe there was something his family wasn't telling him yet but Shane was curious to figure out what kind of information he was missing to see the bigger picture.

'Is it possible to prevent the whole human race from revealing certain coordinates?' He asked himself once before realizing that he might end up more confused than he already was if he were to think more about it.

Several guards manned the huge gate and they opened it for the Empress and Shane. As they walked inside, he couldn't help but be nervous yet again.

The gates opened up to a gigantic hall, where a huge, humanoid-looking black-crimson-colored Elemental was sitting on a throne. Next to the throne laid a one-meter tall golden-silverish furred fox minding its own business.

Gulping down his saliva, he followed the Elementals Empress before he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. As realization dawned on him he noticed that he was in the presence of both the black-crimson-colored Elemental that he assumed to be the Emperor and the Starstream fox that was smaller than he had expected.

The latter looked extremely weak and clingy which caused Shane to smile lightly before he bowed deeply to the Emperor to greet him properly.

"Esteemed Emperor, I, Shane Suro, also called Orus have arrived! Thank you for allowing me to enter the Elementals Empire to help me complete my mission. We, humans, hope to forge a long standing relationship with the Elus race that will benefit our races equally!"

When Shane finished his short, pompous speech which he disliked to the core, he heard the Emperor speak.

"Idral said that you're special, and I can tell that your mana absorption rate is quite good...but I can't really tell if you are worthy enough to receive a special permission certificate from our race and even meet us...It's somewhat disappointing."

Shane didn't expect the Emperor to say something like this which caused him to raise his brows in surprise. He felt as if the Emperor wanted to test and challenge him at the same time.

Fortunately, he had already expected this to happen which led Shane to adjust his world seed's mana absorption before they entered Caera, the floating crystal island.

Straightening his back, he released his full mana absorption once again utilizing his own mana gathering technique.

The Starstream fox with its extreme sensitivity to mana squeaked in astonishment before it jumped up from the Emperor's lap to hide behind the throne. The fox noticed a bit late that it was merely a being at the Apprentice stage whose sudden erupting mana absorption rate had shocked it.

The Emperor's black-crimson-colored form flickered for a moment as if he was equally astonished. Shane heard a noise that sounded similar to the clearing of one's throat as the Emperor said,

"That's better. Now I know the reason behind Idral's excitement. Your cultivation stage has yet to reach the Expert stage and your mana absorption is already so terrifying! I'm curious why you need so much mana, but I won't inquire more about it.

Rather than wasting our time with useless formalities and needless discussions, why don't we come straight to the point?"

When Empress Idral heard this, she was confused as several questions popped in her head. 'Useless formalities and needless discussion? Aren't you the one who is adamant and picky with these things? What's going on with you?'

However, she didn't dare to ask this in front of their guest.

As such, Empress Idral only stared at the Emperor which he noticed and ignored because he was trying to think of something else that had piqued his curiosity.

Shane was glad to hear that the Emperor was not like Empress Idral had described which caused him to sigh in relief.

"I would be glad if we can go straight to the point. Unfortunately, I don't have detailed information about our race's current economic state because I had to hurry to come over which was a bit chaotic.

Nevertheless, I have a small present for the esteemed Emperor and Empress!"

He accepted the packages he had received from his father, aunts, and uncles, with elemental crystals inside them, and they appeared inside his spatial ring.

As he retrieved them at once, Shane noticed that their size varied with the largest crystal towering over him in height.

He couldn't even lift them because they were already compressed and weighed several hundred kilograms.

When the Emperor and Empress saw the elemental crystals emerging in front of Shane, they acknowledged his thoughtfulness, only to see his wasted effort to lift them.

The Emperor released his mana to envelop the crystals and noticed that they were extremely precious which caused him to ask in shock.

"Does your race have an elemental crystal mine in an advanced dimension?!"

This was something their race had been trying to achieve for decades. Every single time they thought to have found a relatively secure Dimension with elemental crystal caves inside them, they were chased away by other, stronger races.

However, seeing Shane shake his head, the Elementals Emperor's excitement died down even before it had ignited, which didn't go unnoticed by Shane.

As such, he said,

"But, it will only be a matter of time before we obtain several elemental crystal caves inside basic dimensions! That's better than nothing...I guess?"

He tried to smile lightly to ease the tension that had accumulated in the large throne hall and noticed that this information caused both the Elemental Emperor and Empress's form to flicker slightly.

"Our race doesn't need elemental crystals so we might as well be able to make an exclusive agreement with the Elus-race, however, that is not something I can decide without having discussed this with the higher authorities!"

Shane noticed the Emperor's excitement which he tried to suppress by forcing his body to become stable again as he turned serious.

"Let's talk about that later, when your race claims an elemental crystal cave and starts to procure elemental crystals.

Now, for the reason, you came here... I want to see your strength and other traits for myself to figure out if you're capable of catching a Lesser Starlet Fox alone, without injuring it.

This is very important for me and Scar, the Starstream fox I have tamed….

With that in mind, would you mind sparring against an Elemental to see if you reach the requirements? Otherwise, I won't feel good about allowing you to enter the particular Basic-Dimension to find a Lesser Starlet Fox because it might be the cause of your death. This would not only sever all of our contacts with the human race but also lead to bad blood!"

"I should….fight?"
