Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 710 - 710: Tis I, Kent Madson, But You Can Call Me Chaos [Bonus]The place was already quiet when Aeric prepared to attack the Half-Elf who claimed Drows are better than Elves. It was a grave insult, one that reached deep within the hearts of the five Elves.
So, when Aeric raised the three spears lit on flames, the whole place fell silent. Of course, everyone knew he wouldn’t attack the Half-Elf if he didn’t repeat what he said.
Aeric was merely making a statement..
However, to everyone’s shock, someone boldly spoke the words and even added Dark Elves to the mix, making the whole situation even worse.
Kent walked toward the stunned Half-Elf and placed his hands on his shoulder. A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips as he looked at Aeric…
“He said it. What are you going to do about it?”
Everyone tensed when Kent tempted Aeric. It was a blatant display of pure stupidity in everyone’s point of view… and they were probably right.
But they hadn’t met Kent—not when he was actually looking forward to joining the competition; yet, some people with overprivileged leverage in life stood in his way.
Kent focused his attention on the Elf for a full minute before a sigh escaped his lips. Then he spoke…
“Since you don’t have the spine to attack, then can you pack and leave… some of us actually want to get into the city.
Of course, if you want to join the competition, then perhaps go for a blood transfusion, infuse human blood into your body, and become a Half-Elf. I am sure that will solve your issue. But for now, get out of my way before I make you.”
Aeric and his four friends shuddered, hearing what Kent said. Aeric, in particular, trembled with anger as he raised his staff and swung it forward.
The three spears blazed and shot toward Kent, aiming to draw blood from his body. However, before they could even get within a meter of Kent, he waved his hand, and sword arcs sliced through the spears.
Huh.
Their eyes widened when they saw what had happened.
When Aeric attacked, they held their breath, knowing Kent or the Half-Elf was about to die, but that didn’t happen. Kent merely swung his hand, and the spears were neutralized.
“Who are you, and why are you taunting me? Don’t, for one, think I won’t kill you even if it provokes a war between my race and your kind,” Aeric said, pointing his staff at Kent.
“Stupid… Do you think I have any reservations about killing you? If you don’t believe me, why don’t you pay attention to my ears?” Kent smirked, noticing how people ignore the ears around this part of the world.
‘Was it only me who paid attention to the ear?’ he wondered, looking at the five Elves who now held shocked expressions on their faces, realizing who was messing with them.
The Half-Elves were the same.
The last time they saw a human was several years ago, so they were shocked to see one now. Of course, the humans who came to their kingdom left much faster in fear that the Elves would track them there.
But for a human to be tempting and taunting Elves, this was their first time seeing one. Also, judging by how Kent spoke, he wasn’t showing any sign of fear, meaning he wasn’t leaving anytime soon.
Perhaps if Aeric hated the Half-Elves, then he despised humans, and Kent could see it in his eyes now.
“You are a human.”
“Tis I, Kent Madson, but you can call me Chaos.” For a moment, the place went quiet until suddenly the five Elves moved and surrounded Kent. The Half-Elf beside Kent tensed.
“You are Kent Madson… We have orders to kill any Kent Madson we see on sight.” Aeric raised his staff, causing several spears to float in the air. Each spear was lit on fire.
Aeric turned to the guards. “So the Half-Elves are also colluding with a known fugitive. I will be sure to report this to every race… I am sure they will love to come for an explanation from your useless kind.”
“For now, we will handle him… but trust me, you all are doomed.”
“What nonsense are you talking about… We’ve never met this human before,” one of the guards said, but Aeric turned his attention away from him. His gaze was locked on Kent.
“You can surrender now or die.” The dozens of spears burned eerily, waiting to go into battle. All five Elves were ready to take down Kent.
The Half-Elves, especially Arion, Cyran, and Helyra, wore shocked expressions, not knowing what to believe. The Kent they had been with for the past hour had now been branded a fugitive who was ordered to be brought in dead or alive.
That just didn’t make sense. The Kent they knew wasn’t the kind of person they pictured as a fugitive. But as it stood, dozens of spears hovered, ready to attack and take him down.
Kent looked at the five Elves and smirked. “Aren’t you cutting your coat too large? I mean, you may be some big-shot geniuses among the Elves, but in front of me, you are children. I can kill you all in under a second.
That is how insignificant you are. Of course, knowing how foolish some people can be, I will assume your elders didn’t tell you they are working for The Hand because, as far as I am concerned, they were the only ones I offended.
Not that those idiots didn’t deserve that. I will one day kill them all
Of course, you five won’t be leaving here alive today…” Kent paused and spoke again.
“One of you will be leaving here alive today, because you will have to take the bodies of the dead ones back to your Queen.” Kent paused again and looked at the Half-Elf beside him.
“Should I kill them?” The young man froze, unsure of what to say, but when asked such a question, he shook his head in response.
“Fine. You all can keep your lives today, but it will take some healing to regrow your limbs.” Kent flashed a smile, causing Aeric to attack. However, before the spears could move, Kent acted, drawing his sword.
