Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System
Chapter 697 - 697: Sending A MessageThe Sea Dragon was put in an unfavorable situation by Kent.
From the moment the Hand sent a message to the leaders of the Sea Race, he was ordered to stop anyone named Kent Madson at all costs.
They emphasized that he could kill Kent Madson or restrain him. They also warned him that under no circumstances should he be allowed to pass.
He couldn’t fail… That was just not acceptable.
However, it was plain as day now that Kent wouldn’t be going down… not when the Sea Dragon didn’t have backup.
So watching the smile on Kent’s face left him angrier than ever, yet he was powerless to do anything.
“Since you now know my name, then why don’t I say what I have to say…” Kent sighed. Killing the Dragon would be a waste. Kent isn’t some bloodthirsty maniac who goes about killing for fun.
He knew the dragon was ordered… so if anyone deserved to die, it should be the ones doing the ordering. It shouldn’t even have anything to do with the dragon.
But that doesn’t mean the dragon was free from further actions from Kent. If anything, it meant the dragon’s life and death were in his own hands. Depending on what he did, Kent would answer.
“I know the Hand has already told you about me… Everything they said is true and then some. But what they failed to tell you was that I have what it takes to bring your entire race to their knees in under three minutes.
And this is not a brag. I can do it, and I know deep down you know I can do it. So save yourself this time because I was hoping you could send a message to your people.”
Thalorin, the Sea Dragon, looked at Kent for a few minutes before its body shuddered. The waves rose, and a searing heat came from the boiling water.
I guess threatening his race didn’t seem right to him. Kent moved to the side, evading a water spear fashioned into a long and deadly weapon.
More of such weapons appeared, but Kent dodged and destroyed as many as he could. It wasn’t as much of a headache as one might think, but Kent had indeed shown Thalorin he wasn’t afraid of him.
If anything, it was the dragon’s pride that was dragging it into a frenzied state, one where it didn’t want to take a moment and rethink its approach.
At the moment, blinded by loyalty, he wanted to use that misguided loyalty to accomplish the task. But that was just some stupid way of thinking.
Thalorin’s eyes flared with a blazing blue light as the boiling waves churned violently around him. With a deafening roar, the Sea Dragon unleashed his first deadly skill: Tidal Fury, a colossal surge of water that slammed toward Kent like a raging tsunami.
Kent’s body moved with fluid grace, dodging and weaving through the crashing waves as if he were part of the storm itself.
Kent didn’t even attack the dragon; instead, he chose to evade its attacks, which continued to come.
Thalorin growled in frustration, then gathered the swirling storm above his massive form, summoning his second skill: Inferno Maelstrom.
Flames erupted amid the watery tempest, mixing fire and water into a deadly storm of scalding steam and crackling lightning bolts that sizzled through the air.
Kent’s body flickered into a series of afterimages, each one striking the edges of the maelstrom, dispersing the storm’s energy with precise bursts of Rapid Slash.
Thalorin roared once more and summoned his ultimate skill: Leviathan’s Wrath, a massive spectral dragon made of pure ocean energy, appeared and crashed down with crushing force.
However, despite the distance between them not being that wide, Kent merely used the Void Cleave to handle one of the strongest skills of the dragon.
The sword skill that requires distance to gather momentum was handled just like that.
“Though I have to say this dragon is stronger… it is just that I am not normal,” Kent smiled, evading one attack after another.
“I should probably add my points and break the next limit,” Kent thought while also wondering why the dragon was struggling to comprehend what was happening.
All the attacks he was throwing at Kent were being dealt with, yet he continued to be stubborn.
After an hour, he stopped attacking and transformed into a blue-haired young man who seemed to be in his 40s. He had two elegant dragon horns on his forehead and a fine, muscular physique.
A spear appeared in his hand, and he was about to attack when Kent moved and appeared before him, landing a punch on his face.
The force from the punch was so powerful that the dragon was sent flying into the air and then landed with a heavy thud inside the water.
His left eye turned black thanks to Kent’s fist.
“Look, don’t be blinded by your loyalty to the Sea Race. I have already planned on not killing you, so maybe stop pushing my hand. I might become angry now and actually kill you.
And while that will be a bummer, know that I have someone who can turn you into an undead, which in this case, you wouldn’t have a say in whether you listen to what I have to say or not.” The words left Kent’s lips casually.
The black-eyed dragon, who heard Kent’s words seethe in anger, however, was unable to do anything. He had already seen Kent’s strength, and that terrified him.
“Very well… Looks like you have calmed down now,” Kent smiled and then started saying what he wanted to say an hour ago.
“I want you to send a message to your leaders… Tell them I don’t want a conflict with them, that I only want to ask them a few questions about events that happened years ago.
Be sure to say precisely these words: ‘I have a way to break the Wynthralls’ curse.’ Saying that will calm them down. And if they don’t want to listen, you can give them this:” Kent threw a grape to the dragon.
He caught it, and after inspecting it for a few seconds, his eyes widened. Kent smiled.
“I will be going to places like the Dragon Kingdom or the Dwarf Kingdom after I am done with my business in the Elf Kingdom. So if you want to talk to me, meet me then.
That will be all. Again, be sure to tell them they don’t want to become my enemy… They wouldn’t want to know what I will do.”
With that, Kent flew away.
