“It is not that your preparation was bad, but it is due to the fact that the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha is a master of manipulating the body. She could implant small suggestions that would be impossible to cleanse unless it is a Bishop doing the purification.” Adrian stated.

“Commander! We must let all of the people in the castle be blessed by the Bishop of the Church of the Twin Gods. There might still be others that are bewitched.” The King of Argento commanded his loyal commander of the king’s guard.

“Thank you, champion. You have done such a great service to the kingdom. I want to have a chat with you if that is possible, but it seems that you are needed elsewhere. I believe that my son could fill me in with the details.” The King of Argento stated.

“That is so. Farewell.” Adrian stated as he snapped his fingers, and a portal swallowed all of them.

The knights and even the mages that were with the King of Argento were amazed as they saw space bend before their eyes. “You need to be punished.” The King of Argento stated.

“But! But! I helped my idol defeat the wicked vampire queen that plagued our sewers!” The Young Prince Alucred replied.

“That is besides the point, young man. Still, I am glad that you are alive. Let us go!” The King of Argento stated as he had this worried look plastered on his face before it became stern as they head out of the sewers.

Adrian, Solstice, and Lycan arrived outside the kingdom in a dense forest. This was the original area that they first arrived at. They were not able to take a good look at Solstice because she was wearing her golden armor that covered her entire body, but the King of Argento did not stop looking at her. It seems that the blood of the Edelblud family still recognizes their master even if it has been diluted.

“Where did you learn that some of the castle personnel were bewitched? Also, how did you learn the special magic of the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha?” Solstice suddenly asked as they were now in the clear.

“I see. Then, what about the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory?” Solstice asked.

“I cannot say the specifics, but I can say that she is serving time in a place where she would want to escape. At least, she is now helping the souls of those that she inflicted pain upon. She became useful even at the very end.” Adrian stated with a smile that made Lycan shudder as that is the signature dangerous smile of his girlfriend’s family.

“If you have information about the Crazed Blood Queen Akasha then tell us already.” Lycan stated to change the topic of the conversation.

“Yes. I would like to know about our opponent as well.” Solstice asked.

“Okay but this is not the proper place. We need to go to the guild house. I only teleported us here because you needed to relay information to the Edelblud servants. You told me this before we ventured on that quest.” Adrian stated.

“Right! I almost forgot that we agreed to report back on the investigation. I did not expect that we would actually defeat the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory in the process. Let me call the servants for a moment while you two rest.” Solstice stated as she bit her finger using her palm.

Solstice then released a few drops of blood into the area that they are in. In just a few minutes, numerous shadows suddenly came running towards her. All of them bowed to her as they smelled the blood of their mistress.

“You have called upon us, mistress? Has your investigation become fruitful? Apologies as we were unable to move as much because the capital suddenly had a vast number of knights move. We had to retreat to the shadows which is why the information we have gathered is insufficient.” The vampire butler stated.

“About that…” Solstice stated with a rather apologetic face as she proceeded to tell everything that has happened.

“You have already defeated the Crazed Blood Queen Bathory!” The vampire butler stated in shock as all the other vampires could not believe it as well.

The vampire servants did not expect that their mistress would defeat a vampire queen in just a few days. The last vampire queen hunt lasted for a week which is why they also thought that this would be the same time it takes but they are mistaken. They wanted to know how it is possible of if a vampire queen is really that weak, but they all looked at the variable that appeared that made it possible.

“If the mistress has already defeated the blood queen, then only a few of our forces need to monitor and observe. There might still be stray vampires from her lineage hiding in the shadows of the Argento Kingdom. Does that mean that the mistress will return to the estate?” The vampire butler asked.

“I need to do something first, but I will return to the estate as soon as possible. All of you are dismissed and we shall see each other in the estate after a day or two.” Solstice commanded.

“As the mistress wills.” The vampires vowed as they dispersed.
