The last thing that Adrian and Levin Cloud saw was the darkness that engulfed them as the chaotic combination of nether energy and negative energy created a powerful explosion. The strength of that explosion could have easily destroyed a large city if the two of them did not work together to suppress it. Both of them are now in a place where one is the Judge, Jury, and Executioner.

Adrian and Levin Cloud arrived with the numerous souls of the NPCs that died in the battle. The players that perished twice as they were already revived once had already been sent to their saved points. The NPCs that died looked scared and confused as they arrived in an area that is not described in the paradise that is told to them when they die.

“Ahh!” Several of the NPCs shouted as they saw Adrian in his full Netheros Form.

“It is just me. Equinox, the Shepherd of Lost Lambs and Mediator of Death.” Adrian stated as he needed to make the souls of the deceased people calm as they would need to have perfect mental state if they were to return to the living.

“Mediator, we have a problem!” One of the Anubises shouted as a line of beings could be seen following him in an angered state.

“I think you are going to have a headache.” Levin Cloud stated.

“Just help me make sure that all of them are here. I will give you some temporary abilities in Limbo.” Adrian stated as he could already feel the headaches that are walking towards him.

[You have given special access for Limbo to the Mediator of Life, Levin Cloud.]

“Cool! I did not know that the afterlife expresses itself in a system panel.” Levin Cloud stated.

“You can transform it into a scroll if that is more your aesthetic. It adapts to the form that the user feels easier.” Adrian stated before confronting the line of gods that came to him.

The Anubises tried to stop the gods of death that came to complain to Adrian. He already knew why the gods of death are here because he basically stole all the souls of those that should have been delivered straight to them. Some of the warriors here are beings that worshipped gods of death as they believe that a safe passage to the afterlife is a must. There is a saying that a living person will cling to a god of death when they are always at the edge of survival.

“This should not be possible, Mediator! We have claim to their souls legally!” One of the gods of death shouted and the others followed suit.

The complains of the Gods of Death rang in both of Adrian’s ears that he could not decipher what they were saying as all of them are talking at the same time. Adrian got so sick of hearing the complaints that he instantly sent one of the loudest gods of death back to their death realm. As soon as the gods of death saw one of them suddenly banished, the noise that was their chattering and complaining slowly died down.

“I thought none of you will shut up. I know why you are here, and I am here to tell you that you cannot take them. They are beings that are set to be revived.” Adrian announced which immediately created another storm of complaints.

The complaints of the gods of death are easily condensed to one meaning and that is revival for those that do not have blessed souls are forbidden. They even dared to tell Adrian himself that what he is doing is taboo. When Adrian heard the words that came out of the mouth of the gods of death, Limbo suddenly became cold and desolate as it instantly froze.

The gods of death that were chattery and loud suddenly closed their mouths as they could see that the Mediator before them was not pleased. Adrian unfurled all four wings that contained deep nether energy that surrounded the gods of death. Fear actually crept in the hearts of the gods of death as they knew what this energy could do, and it is also fatal even to them.

“You should not scare them, Equinox.” Thanatos suddenly stated as he revealed himself in his humanoid form that looked like a handsome man with three sets of black wings.

“They dare lecture me on what is taboo. I know what is taboo and do they think that I did not pay the price for this revival?” Adrian replied.

“Thanatos! Tell the mediator that what he is doing is not good for the Death Realms. Reviving souls would create chaos and madness in the Death Realms as those that were destined to die will be revived.” The gods of death urged Thanatos.

“Why are you telling me that? If there is anyone that is clear with the rules, then that would be the mediator. I just came here because I wanted to see what was happening. Also, all of you are grumbling like this when those three hags are not even kicking up a fuss.” Thanatos stated.

“It is not ice to call us old hags, Gloomy Boy.” The First Sister of the Fates suddenly stated as she appeared as a young lady that has great allure. The sudden appearance of the First Sister of the Fates scared Thanatos that he almost lost his stoic face.

“You should not scare the young man, sister. What if he suddenly faints and becomes unable to do his job to ferry souls.” The Second Sister of the Fates stated as she appeared as a motherly individual.

“I say we pluck some of his feathers to teach him a lesson. I always wanted to try embroidery with beautiful feathers.” The Third Sister of the Fates stated as she appeared as an old woman before them.

“The Fates!” The gods of death suddenly stated which made them cower and hide behind one another. Even Thanatos looked like he wanted to escape as he saw the three women that he feared the most.

“I greet the Fates.” Adrian stated as he appeared in a rather proper form and unfurled his wings.

“You look good, boy. It seems that fate has been kind to you.” The Third Sister of Fate stated jokingly as she looked directly into Adrian’s eyes.

“Do not tease him, sister. The good boy has done his preparations so that he did not trouble us at all.” The Second Sister of the Fates stated as she looked at Adrian with a warm smile.

“Why are all of you scared? We just came here to get the thing that we were promised.” The First Sister of the Fates stated as she looked concerned that the gods of death were trembling and tried to console them. The gods of death just bowed and gave their respectful farewells to the Fates before the First Sister of Fate could touch them.

“We are very sorry for using some of your time, Mediator Equinox. I suddenly found that I was the one that was in error and need to go back to fix it.” One of the gods of death stated as she used that chance to escape.

All of the other gods of death also came up with the same excuse that they suddenly found an error on their list. They escaped as fast as possible as they did not want to be in a place where the Fates are located. Adrian then looked at Thanatos as the Hand of Death actually begged with his eyes to be sent away.

“The Gloomy Boy should stay as we need your assistance for the next part.” The Third Sister of the Fates stated which made Thanatos turn gloomier than ever. His gloomy aura suddenly turned darker than before as the area around him became a shade darker.

“Sorry, I was too late. Maybe next time, do not become engrossed in other people’s business.” Adrian thought as he gave pitiful smile to Thanatos.

“Do you have it then, Equinox?” The Second Sister of the Fates asked.

“Yes. I have already gathered it in advance as soon as I entered Limbo.” Adrian replied as he presented a clear green jewel that contained vast amounts of pure life energy which delighted the Fates.

“Ah! Life is such a beauty! As expected, this would surely fix all of the tangled threads that appeared.” The First Sister of the Fates stated.

“I believe that is what you need. Thank you for your kind consideration.” Adrian stated as he bowed respectfully to the Fates.

“No worries, my dear. Still, you should not do this in another year or so. If the threads of fate tangled up again then we will definitely come after you.” The Second Sister of Fate stated with a gentle smile but there was an underlying warning and threat to that statement.

“Do not worry as Yewdrassil also warned me about it. Thank you once again.” Adrian stated as the Fates left while they dragged the pitiful Thanatos.
