"Tell me what I need to do?" Adrian asked his Noblesse Inner Demon.

"You would need to connect the two trees together to make it cohesive. You would need to have them balance each other out instead of fighting for superiority. You need to make them bow down to you as I cannot take that responsibility if you become a Noblesse. Focus on the stone table and merge the disconnected lines." The Noblesse Inner Demon stated.

"Okay." Adrian replied as he touched the stone tablet that rose from the floor beneath him.

As soon as Adrian touched the stone tablet, roots that have two distinct energies suddenly attached themselves to his hands. One root looked crippled and dead while the other one is strong and lush. The appearance of the roots was not a factor on how strong they were as both have great pulling power that Adrian is repelling with his own mental strength.

"Do not fight it. Command it! You are the master here." The Noblesse Inner Demon stated. Adrian did not fight the roots as the Noblesse Inner Demon advised. When he relaxed a bit, the roots tried to attach themselves to his neck, but he already took full control of the situation as the Noblesse Inner Demon told him. All of Adrian's mental strength that was spread out is now converged to his own projection inside his soul root. A powerful and tyrannical force suddenly enveloped him and actually scared the roots to even go further.

"Return." Adrian stated with conviction and confidence.

The roots that curled on his arm retreated like a scared living organism. As soon as the roots retreated, a powerful shock entered Adrian's mind as he is suddenly filled with the information on how his soul root came to be. Flashes of memories from when he started suddenly came over him as he received all the knowledge regarding his soul root.

"You are here. I have been waiting for quite a long time. I thought that you will not reach me until the traces of my mana vanishes." A familiar old woman stated as Adrian is suddenly in a place that is only made of white walls.

"Where am I?" Adrian asked.

"You are the old woman back then that gave me the necklace that changed my fate. There should have been a warning sign on how to trigger it as I was incredibly confused when it happened." Adrian stated.

"You do remember me, but I am just a memory ghost if you were to describe me. If you are here, then it means that you are ready to fix your soul." The old woman stated.

"Did the Amulet of Armageddon change the nature of my soul? Is that why the energies of my body are not synchronizing correctly?" Adrian stated as the old woman suddenly got confused as well.

"What are you talking about? Your soul should be the strongest ever as it is blessed by the Asmodians themselves. You are the hope of the race as you will be the key to restore the proud protectors of the universe. What have you done, little one?" The old woman asked, and Adrian decided to say everything since the former was nothing more than a memory injected using the necklace.

"That is my general situation." Adrian stated.

"Child. You have taken in forces that would have generally destroyed your soul. Even an Asmodian's soul would not have survived the things that you have accepted. What is special about you?" The old woman stated as she suddenly came closer to look Adrian in the eyes.

The old woman suddenly rushing to Adrian came at a surprise but the former only observed deeply. The old woman stared into Adrian's eyes and saw a flicker or a spark. As soon as she saw this spark, a mixture of fear and shock could be seen on her face. The old woman then made some remarks about it being impossible.

"Uhm... can I get the details on why you are reacting like this?" Adrian asked.

"It seems that you have deviated yet are on the right path. It seems that your future could bring ruination or harmony. You no longer carry the burdens of the Asmodians as you have a much heavier burden to bear child. Still, you must always remember that you are one of the chosen to lead the Asmodians back to power." The old woman stated.

"I am now more confused than ever before. Can you give me a hint that is not archaic?" Adrian stated.

"I no longer have time, child. There are also forces of creation that forbid me to speak more. The fact that those forces can affect me from here means that your journey is of great importance. All I can say before I leave is that all I can see in your eyes is chaos." The old woman stated as she suddenly vanished into nothingness as if she was hit by the power of causality.

"Wait! I have not even gotten anything out of our conversation! What do you mean?!" Adrian shouted but his vision also changed.

"Are you fine, host?" The Noblesse Inner Demon asked as it noticed that Adrian's eyes earlier suddenly turned white.

"Where am I?!" Adrian suddenly exclaimed as his vision returned to him.

"You are still in your soul root. You were acting strange earlier as if you were in a trance, but the good thing is that you are almost done." The Noblesse Inner Demon stated. Adrian is shocked to see the soul root that he was fixing almost completed. The two trees are starting to harmoniously combine as if both the Qlipoth and the Sephiroth had become amiable with one another. The scene of two large trees forming in front of him made Adrian forget about what the old woman told him earlier as he is now more focused on fixing his current problem.
