"So, this soul root... is it the form that our soul takes? Are there any other ways to have it be impacted?" Adrian asked.

"A divine relic could possibly influence it, but I have yet to see one. As I was saying, your Soul Root has a very unique form that even I have never seen before. Yours have the form of two different trees clutching orbs of power. The thing that I have observed is that it looks like a tree that is mirrored by something like a lake." Guru Polliwog stated.

"Wow! You really did go into the depths of my soul!" Adrian is shocked because it really is the image of what he sees when he goes inside the depths of his soul.

"Did you think that I was lying that I even passed out from the shock?!" Guru Polliwog stated while making sure to calm down as he did not like to be called a liar.

"That is not a lake actually. From what I can tell, it is a reflection of myself because I have two different energies fighting for dominance in my body. One is Nether Energy which takes the form of a large, withered tree clutching dark colored orbs. The other one should be Aether Energy taking the form of a large, luscious tree clutching vibrant green orbs.

The lake is not really a lake but what I call a dimensional separator. Those two energies are two sides of the same coin if you can interpret it being the reflection of each other. It might also be reason why those two energies are not fighting for supremacy because my very Soul Root is keeping them in check." Adrian told Guru Polliwog of his own interpretation of his soul root's image.

"Such a shame." Guru Polliwog stated.

"What is a shame?" Adrian suddenly asked as he did not expect a comment like that.

"It is a shame that you are born a demon. If you were born a Selvaggian then you might become the best Guru ever born. You have the spiritual awareness of Grand Master Guru like me. Do you want to change your race? I have a secret item that can make that happen." Guru Polliwog stated as he is actually serious about his statements.

"Thank you for the praise but I am very happy of what I am now. What I want to know is how to control these cravings that I have been getting." Adrian stated as he started to tell Guru Polliwog what happens when he encounters items that contain the power of Chaos.

"I see. It makes sense on why that is happening. With the explanation you have given me about your soul root and the odd thing I encountered in your soul depths... I can at least give you, my analysis." Guru Polliwog as he suddenly started to contemplate.

"Care to share this analysis... please?" Adrian stated as Guru Polliwog seems to be pondering heavily.

"Given all the details you have told me, I can at least tell you that your soul is in an incomplete state. I would need to verify more by diving in your soul depths once more, but I need your subconscious self to be with me as well to test this." Guru Polliwog stated.

"I am ready. Please take care of me, Guru Polliwog." Adrian stated as he relaxed his body.

"We need to synchronize our breathing as I will not forcefully enter your soul depths like the first time. You are basically going to escort me to the depths of your soul. Are you sure that you are ready?" Guru Polliwog stated.

"Please guide me." Adrian stated as both of them sat in a lotus position.

Both Adrian and Guru Polliwog then entered a trance that synchronized their breathing. The candles inside the Hall of Patience that flickered suddenly stood straight as both beings manage to attain inner peace. A small light from Guru Polliwog's body entered Adrian's forehead gently unlike before when he entered forcefully. There was no fighting back as Adrian himself was falling down deeper in his soul depths and is now accompanied by Guru Polliwog.

A faint white noise is heard by Adrian and Guru Polliwog as they landed inside of Adrian's soul depths. Unlike before when Guru Polliwog was immensely shocked at the scene, the old frog beastkin is now more grounded and calmer. Still, the intensity of the scene before him is not something even a Guru of his caliber cannot react over.

"Such a terrifying Soul Root. The entire depth of his soul is basically his Soul Root and that means his soul is stronger than a demigod level being." Guru Polliwog thought but did not say this out loud though as he needed to take in the uniqueness of the soul root of the being before him.

"You actually willingly invited in another being to the depths of your soul." The Noblesse Inner Demon Adrian stated as he appeared from behind Adrian.

"Were you the one that scared off the elder earlier?" Adrian asked.

"You give me too much praise, body owner. Unfortunately, I was not the one that moved when an intruder suddenly entered your soul depths. The old thing there should be glad that his soul was not obliterated by me and was only scared stiff by the other one." The Noblesse Inner Demon stated.

"To think that I will encounter the so-called Inner Demons of the Daemos. I was told that they are incredibly beastly and ferocious, but this one is not." Guru Polliwog stated.

"I am offended that you think that I am the same as the others. The blood flowing in our veins is not ordinary after all." The Noblesse Inner Demon stated as he smiled.
