"You know your father will fire me when he finds out about this." Dave said as he walked out of the car with the two boys.
"Dad would never fire you." Yoyo told his father's assistant as he rolled his eyes and pulled his little cousin, Aldrich, towards the crowd.
"This is dangerous, young masters." Dave said as he shook his head, unhappy with being dragged into one of Yoyo's plans.
"No one knows who we are Dave, calm down." Yoyo told the assistant who had to keep his face partially hidden.
People might not know who Yoyo and Aldrich were, but most knew that Dave was the assistant to the CEO of the Reyes group. Naturally, if they recognized him they would do everything to speak to him.
"Aldrich is too young for you to drag around like this, Yoyo." Dave scolded as they joined the excited crowd.
Most of the people who had been waiting outside of the hospital were reporters, but there were also several fans who were eager to see the famous personalities that would come.
They may be businessmen and women, but they were as popular as actors and actresses.
"Do you think the Reyeses will come over?" A girl excitedly asked her friend, making Yoyo stop in his tracks as he slowed down and listened in on the conversation.
"Why-" Aldrich began to complain as Yoyo covered his mouth to keep him quiet.
"I want to hear what they think of our family." Yoyo whispered to Alrich as Dave looked at both boys with a confused expression.
They were both way too mature for their age.
He knew that Ray and Ayanna sent Aldrich to a special school for young geniuses, while Yoyo had always shown signs of being wise beyond his years.
Dave had watched the cousins grow up, often posing as their father for school events so that their true identities wouldn't be revealed.
"I'm sure they will be here. They are good friends with the Chans." The girl's companion giggled.
Based on what Dave could tell they were about sixteen or seventeen years old, he glanced around trying to see if their parents had accompanied them, but to no avail.
"How old is their eldest son now, the Reyes Heir?" The first girl asked, making Dave glance at Yoyo.
Yoyo showed no change in expression as he held Aldrich's hand and continued to look forward, towards the entrance of the hospital.
"If I'm not mistaken he should be around thirteen now." Her companion said as she typed on her phone, searching for Yoyo's age.
"Fourteen." Someone coughed. Making the girls look around.
Dave grinned at Yoyo who had been the one to speak, it seemed that he was willing to risk it all just to correct them about his age.
"Who said that?" The girls asked as they looked at Dave.
"What?" Dave asked in a cranky tone, making them quickly turn their heads.
"Right, fourteen, I checked online." The second girl told her friend.
"We're just a year older than him." The first girl giggled.
"How can you crush so hard on someone who's face you've never seen?" The second girl teased her friend.
"Have you not seen his family? There is no way that he isn't handsome, plus he's the heir to the Reyes Group, what's not to love!" The first girl exclaimed, making Yoyo laugh, unaware that the girls had heard him.
"You! How dare you listen in on my conversation with my friend!" The second girl accused Yoyo, making Dave laugh at the stunned boy in front of him.
"I'm sorry about my sons, unfortunately you girls were speaking so loud that they couldn't help but listen." Dave said as the two girls looked at him in confusion.
"You don't look alike." The first girl quickly pointed out as her friend looked on in horror.
"They take after their mom." Dave calmly replied. "Come on boys, let's get closer."
Yoyo and Aldrich silently nodded as they walked ahead of Dave.
"You both know that they won't bring the baby out, right?" Dave asked the two boys who nodded.
"We know, we just want to be here. Have dad and the others arrived yet?" Yoyo asked as he started to jump, trying to look over the crowd.
At fourteen he still hadn't had his growth spurt.
"There." Dave said as he pointed at the familiar white Rolls Royce as it pulled up to the hospital.
As soon as Cedric stepped out they could hear the reporters shouting over one another, making Aldrich cover his ears.
"Mr. Reyes, will you really not show your eldest to the public?"
"Mr. Reyes, is it true that your son is disabled that's why you are keeping him hidden?"
"Mr. Reyes, will the young master get to meet Mr. and Mrs. Chan's child?"
"Mr. Reyes-"
"Mr. Reyes-"
Cedric raised a hand making the crowd go silent.
Yoyo looked in awe as his father commanded the press with a simple action. He also found it quite interesting that his father was completely different in public compared to how he was at home.
With his family, Cedric was a kind and loving father. He smiled and instantly gave in to whatever his wife or children asked of him. But today he seemed very different.
"This is still a hospital with patients." Cedric said in a cold manner as he moved to his car to help Adrianna and Ayanna out together with the children.
The members of the press were quick to snap photos of the youngest members of the Reyes Clan, but the absence of both Aldrich and Yoyo were not missed.
"I highly suggest that you keep your voices down so as not to disturb those inside." His eyes quickly shifted towards Dave's direction as he glared at his assistant.
Dave in turn looked at Yoyo and Aldrich who were standing in front of him.
He was sure that Cedric had seen them.
"Those who shouldn't be here, should leave." Cedric declared before taking Daniel from Adrianna and holding hand with his free one.
Everyone was shocked with what Cedric had said. Weren't aware that his message was directed towards his fourteen year old son who had dragged along his six year old cousin to the hospital.
"Mr. Reyes is truly scary." A reporter said as they all turned to compare photos.
"We should go." Dave told Yoyo as he pulled the two boys, careful to hide his face.
"You! You're Mr. Reyes' assistant!" A reporter shouted as soon as he got a good lok at Dave.
"Shit." Dave cursed as he took his phone out of his pocket letting go of Yoyo's hand. "Hold on to Aldrich."
Yoyo did as he was instructed as Dave made a call.
"The press spotted us, I'm with Yoyo and Aldrich in the crowd." He said to the other person as the reporters quickly chased them.
"We need to get out of here before they get photos of you two." Dave said in a low voice as the press closed in on them.
"Hey Dave! Can you answer the questions your boss refused?" A reporter called out as they continued to run through the hospital parking lot.
"I'm just here with my sons. I'm off work, don't pester me, damnit!" Dave cursed as he spotted the Reyes family security team from a distance.
"Come one, just one question!" The reporter called out right before several men appeared as they blocked the reporters.
The fear in Yoyo's and Aldric's eyes were clear, they now understood why their parents were so protective of them.
