Jiraiya looked at Nawaki with hopeful eyes. He knew he couldn’t ask Shin Uzumaki to intervene—Shin likely wouldn’t.

Danzō was a dead man anyway—there was no point getting angry with him. Even if Nawaki couldn’t defeat Danzō, Jiraiya was confident Shin Uzumaki would step in and finish the job.

“Thank goodness Shin reminded me, or I would have been done for.” Nawaki sighed in relief. He had almost been killed.

“Hmph! Let’s see how you dodge this.” Danzō used Wood Release again, instantly creating a massive tree that shot towards Nawaki.

“Don’t get stunned by his pathetic Wood Release again,” Shin reminded Nawaki.

Nawaki blushed slightly.

“Don’t worry. I won’t make the same mistake twice,” Nawaki said confidently to Shin.

“Good.” Shin shrugged. He had already warned Nawaki.

“<Water Style: Hard Vortex Water Blade!>”

Nawaki used this S-rank Water Release ninjutsu with extreme piercing power, thrusting it towards Danzō. It pierced through Danzō’s Wood Release and impaled Danzō himself.

“Is it over already?” Nawaki felt it was a bit too easy.

“<Wind Style: Vacuum Sphere!>”

The Danzō Nawaki had pierced suddenly appeared behind him, spewing bullet-like air waves from his mouth.

“<Substitution Jutsu!>”

Sensing danger, Nawaki quickly used the Substitution Jutsu, but his arm was still hit by Danzō’s Ninjutsu attack.
