Yun Lintian's eyes narrowed slightly.
"Leave?" he echoed, his voice laced with a hint of amusement. "I'm afraid that's not possible."
He gestured towards the tunnel, his expression turning serious as he asked. "What exactly are you looking for in this place?"
Dian Lun chuckled, a dry, humorless sound. "That, Young Master Yun, is a secret. A secret that I'm afraid I cannot share with you."
Yun Lintian smiled faintly and said. "I'm not asking you nicely but ordering you to tell me." Dian Lun's smile widened. "And what will you do if I refuse?"
Yun Lintian's aura surged, the air around him crackling with power. "Then I will take it from you by force."
Dian Lun's eyes narrowed, his smile fading. He could sense the power radiating from Yun Lintian, the overwhelming aura that threatened to engulf him. It was even more stronger than their previous encounter.
He glanced at Tang Zhen, who stood beside him, his expression grim. He subtly signaled to him, a silent command to retreat, to leave him to deal with Yun Lintian.
Tang Zhen hesitated for a moment, his eyes flickering towards Yun Lintian. This was the legendary seed of fate. Now, standing before him, he could feel the weight of Yun Lintian's presence, the overwhelming aura that radiated from him. He knew that this was not someone he could easily defeat or rather it was impossible.
With a final glance at Yun Lintian, he turned and fled, his figure disappearing into the tunnel.Yun Lintian noticed a container in Tang Zhen's hand as he vanished into the tunnel. Whatever was inside that box must be extremely important.
Yun Lintian looked at Dian Lun and said, "I didn't expect a dignified Chaos Knight to run away like this. It seems you are not as brave as you all have claimed."
"They are certainly brave, but not me," Dian Lun chuckled. "I'm a timid person." He glanced at Yun Qianxue and the others behind Yun Lintian.
"Are they your women?" he continued. "As expected from you, Young Master Yun. They are truly outstanding women."
Yun Lintian's eyes narrowed slightly. "What are you trying to say?"
"Nothing, nothing," Dian Lun replied with a smile, waving his hand dismissively. "Just a casual observation."
He paused for a moment, his gaze flickering towards the tunnel. "It seems I've overstayed my welcome. I bid you farewell, Young Master Yun. May we meet again under more favorable circumstances."
With that, he turned and stepped into the tunnel, his figure disappearing into the swirling darkness.
Yun Lintian watched him go, his expression unreadable. He could sense the tunnel closing behind Dian Lun, the spatial energy sealing the passageway, preventing him from following.
He knew that Dian Lun was trying to delay him, to buy himself time to escape with something they had just found.
He turned to Yun Qianxue and the others, his expression resolute. "Stay here. I will follow him."
Yun Qianxue's eyes widened in alarm. "Lintian, no! It's too dangerous! We don't know what's on the other side!"
"I'll be fine," Yun Lintian smiled and waved his hand, summoning the Gate of Beyond Heaven. "Calling our people over to take care of this place."
"Be careful." Yun Qianxue nodded reluctantly, knowing that it was impossible to stop Yun Lintian.
Yun Lintian turned and faced the closing tunnel. He raised his hand, his divine energy surging, his aura radiating. He channeled his power into the Frostmourne Spear, its icy aura intensifying, its blade gleaming with a cold, sharp light.
With a powerful thrust, he launched his attack.
BANG!
The Frostmourne Spear pierced through the closing tunnel, its icy energy tearing through the spatial fabric, creating a new passageway, a path that led into the unknown.
Yun Lintian stepped into the passageway, his figure disappearing into the swirling darkness. Meanwhile, Dian Lun, having successfully escaped through the tunnel, was making his way through the Abyssal Rift, his figure a blur of motion.
He was heading towards the heart of the rift, where he would deliver the core of the Ancient Battlefield and receive his next orders.
As he traveled, he couldn't help but smile. He had managed to escape Yun Lintian, had successfully retrieved the core, had fulfilled his mission.
Rumble-
As he reveled in his success, a sudden tremor shook the Abyssal Rift, disrupting his journey. Dian Lun's eyes widened in surprise. He could sense a powerful surge of energy, a familiar aura that sent shivers down his spine.
"Yun Lintian?" he exclaimed in surprise. "He actually dared to follow me?"
From what he knew, Yun Lintian was a cautious person. Dian Lun had used this point to make a gamble, and he was confident that Yun Lintian wouldn't quickly chase after him, as he should be aware of the potential danger waiting for him at the end of the tunnel. But who would have thought that Yun Lintian actually gave chase without hesitation?
Could it be that Yun Lintian believed he could deal with all the Chaos Knights alone?
"It seems I have underestimated your courage, Yun Lintian," he muttered to himself, his voice filled with respect.
He continued his journey, his speed increasing, his expression hardening. He had to reach his destination quickly, before Yun Lintian caught up to him.
Dian Lun was fully aware of Yun Lintian's threat. It was impossible for him to face Yun Lintian
alone.
He channeled his divine energy, manipulating the chaotic energy of the Abyssal Rift, creating illusions, distorting space, setting traps.
Far behind Dian Lun, Yun Lintian traveled through the tunnel, his senses heightened, his awareness reaching its peak. He could feel the chaotic energy of the Abyssal Rift pressing down on him, far stronger than he had experienced before.
He could sense Dian Lun's presence ahead of him, the dark energy radiating from him, guiding his path.
As he journeyed deeper into the tunnel, he began to sense the presence of traps, subtle shifts in the spatial fabric, hidden dangers lurking in the shadows. He knew that Dian Lun was trying
to hinder his progress, to slow him down, to prevent him from catching up.
Yun Lintian quickly dismantled all the traps along the way, giving Dian Lun a chase.
After what felt like an eternity, Dian Lun finally emerged from the tunnel, his figure materializing in the vast space of the Abyssal Rift. Tang Zhen and the other Chaos Knights had
been waiting for him.
"I'm glad you escaped unscathed," Tang Zhen said with a smile as he saw Dian Lun.
Dian Lun didn't say anything and turned to look back at the tunnel.
A moment later, a figure emerged.
It was Yun Lintian.
