Layla, her eyes filled with serenity, replied, "I wanted to create a space where we could all come together and sleep as a family. A place where we could arrange our own beds and rest. Although we each have our own rooms, I thought this would give us the opportunity to share the same space to sleep, while still having our own personal areas to retreat to when needed."
Hearing Layla's plan, everyone seemed to like the idea. Nyla playfully remarked, "That's going to cause a battle, isn't it? We'll all want our favorite spots, right?"
Layla reassured her, "There's no problem with that. Lia can have a bed near the window since she can be close to her garden, and this room is closest to her own room, so her garden is nearby. Let's let Eve choose her spot next, and then we can all pick our own."
Hearing her words, everyone agreed. Lia took out bedding from her spatial storage and placed it neatly on the bed frame she had also retrieved from her spatial beast soul. She positioned the bed near the window, with a perfect view of her beloved rainbow tree outside.
Nyla glanced at Rio, curious to see where he would place his bed. However, Rio turned to Eve and asked, "Are you also going to sleep here?"
Eve responded with a cheerful and amused tone, "I wish I could sleep on the same bed as you, but this is a family room, so I'll just take a spot on the other side of the window. And to answer your question, yes, I'll sleep here since I'm part of the family now. Lia has already given me her approval...
Otherwise, if I had waited for approval from a clueless boy like you, I might have grown old just waiting!"
Nyla giggled at Eve's bold response, clearly enjoying the banter between her and Rio. Helia, too, couldn't help but appreciate how Eve had called Rio clueless; she'd wanted to say the same thing to him herself.
Nyla then turned to Rio, her voice sweet and childlike, "I wanna place my bed near you, sweetie." Rio shook his head in amusement, walking to the middle of the room and placing his bed near the wall, aligning with Lia's.
A small space was left between his and Lia's bed, which Layla promptly filled with her own. On the other side, Nyla happily set up her bed, excited to be close to Rio for once. She knew Lia and Layla were usually the ones beside him, but she understood their importance to Rio.
Eve, meanwhile, had secured a spot to sleep but lacked a bed. She considered crafting one from wood but was unsure about the mattress and bedding. Could she use leaves or a bed of flowers? It might seem strange, especially since she was now part of this group.
Noticing her hesitation, Lia approached Eve and took out another bed and bedding, placing them in Eve's spot. "Here," she said gently, "don't think too much about it."
Eve's face brightened when she saw the bed Lia had provided for her. As Lia set up Eve's bed, Layla and Nyla worked on their own, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere.
Helia, however, stood alone, feeling uncertain. She knew the family room was meant for Rio's wives, and she wasn't one of them. She considered leaving, unsure of her place in the room.
Sensing her hesitation, Lia approached Helia and whispered reassuringly, "You need not worry too much about it either. Just place your bed here. You and Rio are inseparable now, so your destinies are intertwined. Don't hesitate to sleep here."
Helia nodded, acknowledging the truth in Lia's words. She took out her own bedding, usually reserved for outdoor hunting trips, and placed it between Nyla and Eve.
The room now had a row of beds, starting with Lia and ending with Eve: Lia, Layla, Rio, Nyla, Helia, and Eve.
After setting up their sleeping arrangements, they moved to the grand hall, arranging the extra couches they had along with a table. In the kitchen, they placed all the items they had stored away, transforming it into a fully equipped space for cooking and meal preparation.
After they were done they went back to their big room where everyone's bed was placed, they didn't think of setting up their own room as they didn't have enough beds with them and just completed the big room where they would be sleeping together...
Eve sat on her bed, finding the situation unusual, as she typically slept near the pond. She could still see her pond from here, but it felt odd. Nyla and Layla, tired from the day's battle, lay down on their beds. While Layla was less tired, Nyla desperately needed sleep.
Helia, on the other hand, felt nervous as she saw Rio on his bed, seemingly deep in thought. Soon, he stood up and walked over to Lia, who was lying on her bed gazing outside at the rainbow tree and watching the elves dance. Rio knew he hadn't spent much time with Lia recently, so he decided to sleep beside her, not wanting to be alone with four beautiful women around.
As Lia noticed Rio approaching her bed and settling down beside her, a gentle smile illuminated her face, warming her heart with the reassurance that she remained important to him despite Layla's presence in their lives.
She turned towards him and wrapped her arms around him in a tender embrace, their bodies pressing together. Both of them closed their eyes, savoring the moment as they listened to the comforting rhythm of each other's heartbeats, feeling the steady thump against their chests.
Helia and Eve observed the tender moment between Rio and his wifey, both secretly yearning to be in Lia's position, embraced by the young boy.
