The sun was pouring intense heat down Ryan's back, as he raced at high speed across the great desert. Using a complex magic circle, he created an arrow of water and ice which, when shot, pulled water from underground and created a street of ice along which he could glide.
Pulling a rope around his neck, he carried a makeshift sled made of rough wood. On top was hundreds of kilos of the bird's meat. On the horizon, Ryan could already see the portal, and next to it were the four travelers he had left behind.
"What's that?" Kodiak said in amazement. Suddenly the sand had turned to ice as a sandstorm approached.
"I have no idea what that is..." said Roy, confused as he watched the storm approach. The group was confused, but soon everything made sense.
"I'M GOING TO NEED HELP TO STOP" shouted Ryan, who was approaching at high speed.
Kodiak and Nivia started running towards the ice road. "What are we going to do?!" Nivia shouted, as she watched that sandstorm approach.
"I can try to hold him off," Kodiak shouted, as he transformed into bear form.
But in the midst of the panic, Ruri shouted for the two of them to move away.
"BACK OFF!" she said, as she ran in front of the ice platform. The vibration of Ryan's movement was increasing even with the sand. The ground shook more and more as he approached, and the sound of the sand and ice being scraped away caused a nervousness to grow between them.
But Ruri knew what she was doing; the girl's eyes were determined. Holding out both hands, she began to conjure an elemental. The desert water surged through the sand, creating two bluish pillars that rose from the ground to a height of more than five meters.
With a swift movement of her right hand, she removed one of the wooden masks from around her waist, and extending it upwards, she created a gigantic water elemental. The creature formed, the monster had no arms, but had a gigantic torso that ended in a small tail.
"Hold him," she said, pointing in Ryan's direction. The elemental nodded, waving his mask.
Ryan moved even closer, and the sandstorm took hold of the area. Nivia, Kodiak and Roy put their arms in front of their faces to protect themselves from the grains of sand, while Ruri put on a wooden mask that covered his eyes.
The three travelers were nervous, while the shaman was calm and confident. If the plan went wrong, there was a chance that Ryan would only stop when he was dead.
The wind grew stronger, and like a torpedo, Ryan and the sled arrived.
"BLOOOOOOOOOOOBB" The Elemental shouted, increasing in size.
*Puft* *Bdum*
Ryan entered the water, the elemental made sure the water didn't become solid. By pushing away the particles, he was able to enter easily without breaking.
Kodiak breathed a sigh of relief, "I thought he'd end up hitting the water like an unsuccessful cannonball."
Ruri then said in a confident voice, "An elemental is not a swimming pool."
Holding out her hand, the orange-haired girl called out to the elemental. The creature bent down and removed the mask from the elemental's face to release it. All the water that formed the monster's body fell to the ground, creating a pool in the middle of the arid desert.
Gasping and begging for air, Ryan was soaking wet. Removing his black shirt, he folded it as he looked at the makeshift sled. "I didn't think it would go so fast" *Cof* "But I think it was a good idea".
"Hahaha! As always you're in high spirits my friend!" Said Kodiak, who approached and held out his hand to Ryan, helping him up. "I'm going to warm up so I can dry my clothes. By the way, you can share the meat and hide of that bird.
"You killed it yourself?" Nivia said, startled.
"That's what we went out for, isn't it?" Ryan replied, while looking at the druid.
"Of course he managed to kill that monster," said Ruri.
Everyone looked at the girl, Nivia had a smug smile on her face while Roy and Kodiak were trying not to laugh. Everyone knew of her admiration for Ryan.
"Ryan has already killed a Dragon single-handedly... that's nothing," said Ruri, who was touching both fingers. Even with her mask on, it was clear that she was embarrassed.
Ruri's chance of success was already well over a hundred percent, and knowing this, Nyx began to nag Ryan for the rest of the day. As they sorted out the loots and dragged the sled closer to the portal, the girl kept commenting on it.
<Are you going to fuck Ruri yet?
'Not yet'
<But she wants to give her juicy little tight pussy to you>
'But I have to take her home, and we'll only see each other at the guild'
<But you could get an elemental skill>
'I could already cast elementals'
<But you'd have to conjure, with a skill you just activate it and the spirit comes to you>
'Look, I'd love to fuck Ruri. But I don't know if she wants to'
<Why don't you check?
When Ryan opened his Demon Sight in front of Ruri, the answer was clear. His relationship status with her was extremely high. The girl had great respect for him, as well as a sexual desire for Ryan.
To further strengthen Nyx's argument, both Fate's Desire and Ruri's Soul Desire had been completed. Which meant that the system that rules the world wanted the two of them to end up together. Thoughtfully, Ryan looked at Ruri's curves and wondered how he could get close to her.
He quickly became aroused by the Shaman outfit she was wearing, the girl's belly was sticking out and Ryan's thoughts began to run wild. Even in the heavy sun, he could already think about what it would be like to remove her clothes. Decided, he said to Nyx.
'Okay, I'll add her to my harem'
