--- Chapter 314 ---

After creating the Divine Tool - Timeless Order, Huo Yuhao received another notification.

[Ding! You have triggered Pagma's Incarnation Class' sub-quest]

[Name: Second Creation]

[Objective: Create a legendary weapon or above (0/1)]

[Time Limit: None]

[Reward: One of Pagma's Incarnation Class's skills will be unlocked]

Huo Yuhao's eyebrow twitched slightly, "Well, that was fast."

"As if the class knew I just got a new weapon recipe."

"Whatever, I will do it later."

"I wanted to test Timeless Order's function now." He returned his gaze to the hovering bronze orb. "But I don't have raw Devil Fruits to use..."

Even though Huo Yuhao knew the One Piece World had plenty of Devil Fruits, he couldn't get more than the twelve ones he got a few days ago.

It was such bullshit, but Huo Yuhao couldn't do anything about it.

He could try the fuse concepts function, but it would be a waste if the result is subpar.

He sighed, "Just one more day, and I can get into another timeline."

"Palu, Anastasia, Bing Di, Sister Mengs, good job." He glanced at the purple slime and his contracted spirit souls.

"Thanks for helping me."

Wee~!

Palu bounced a few times.

"I will do everything for you, Master." Anastasia smiled faintly.

"Mhm, me too." Bing Di followed calmly.

"I WANT FOOOOOOOODDD!" Tian Meng demanded with a big, smug grin on her face. "You're torturing me all these times with those foods you ate with the Little Dragon Girl."

"Have some conscience, and share with me!"

Huo Yuhao nodded, "Sure. I will save some later."

"Go rest for now."

Exiting the Mirror Dimension, Huo Yuhao saw Huang Qiu'er walking around the sea cliff with a worried look.

"Are you looking for something?" Huo Yuhao couldn't help but smile.

Huang Qiu'er turned around and beamed, "Master, you're back! I thought you left me for good."

"Silly girl, why would I leave you? Your food is delicious, so I can't eat normal food anymore."

"Really?"

"Yes. I'm craving your breakfast now."

Huang Qiu'er foolishly smiled, "Then, I will get some ingredients and make something immediately!"

With that, she dived into the ocean like usual. Apparently, swimming gave her an idea of how Huanglong's power works.

Unknown to Huo Yuhao, Huang Qiu'er has grasped enough control over her newfound strength. But to reach complete mastery, he needs a little more time.

Even then, doing it in a week is within Huo Yuhao's expectation.

"Hmm? How strange." Huo Yuhao suddenly said. He felt something was missing in the atmosphere.

Perhaps, a certain green-haired brat.

"I don't see Zoro anywhere."

"Where is he?"

Zoro would never miss his challenge on Huang Qiu'er.

After his first defeat, he would appear at nine in the morning and three in the evening. His scream echoed well with waves crashing against the sea cliff, making Huo Yuhao used to it quickly.

Wait, did Huo Yuhao reawaken his sadist tendency?

Huo Yuhao shook his head unhurriedly, "There must be a reason."

"Well, he should be around soon."

Weirdly, Zoro never appeared.

After breakfast, noon came, and the green-haired brat was still nowhere to be seen.

"How peaceful..." Even Huang Qiu'er found this situation weird.

"Young Master Huo." A lone figure walked to the sea cliff.

It was Koushiro, Kozaburo's son.

"Koushiro-san." Huo Yuhao greeted the man calmly.

Koushiro nodded but had a troubled look, "Young Master Huo, my father actually fainted last night... He had been locking himself in the workshop for four days, and by the time I checked on him, he was on the ground."

"Coughing blood."

"D-Do you perhaps have something to do with it?"

Huo Yuhao sighed and facepalmed, "That Old Man..."

"How stubborn."

"I already wanted him not to push himself too hard."

"Sorry, Koushiro-san. That old man pushed himself this badly because he was determined to make a sheath for my new sword."

"Sheath?" Koushiro tilted his head in confusion.

Huo Yuhaoo showed Koushiro his newly made Hydrogen and the glasses-using man froze on the spot.

Koushiro stared at the dull sword and felt a terrifyingly ancient turtle with furious red eyes staring back at him. He broke a cold sweat because it was such an intense sensation, penetrating his body like needles.

'This sword, it's an evil sword!' Koushiro thought to himself.

'No, it's a demon sword itself!'

Even though Koushiro hasn't seen Supreme-grade Blades, he possessed the Wado Ichimonji crafted by his father and could gauge the blade's strength when seeing them.

The black sword in Huo Yuhao's hand is definitely above the Supreme-grade Blade, not something humans could make.

"This, Young Master Huo, you made this?"

Huo Yuhao shrugged and replied casually, "I made it amidst irritation."

"..." Koushiro.

Who the hell made a beyond Supreme-grade Blade just because he got irritated?

Koushiro stared at Hydrogen again, "My father is weak."

"He shouldn't have moved a hammer any longer."

"But... Looking at your sword, I think I can understand him now."

"Unfortunately, I don't think he could finish the sheath." Koushiro sighed hopelessly. "He was on his deathbed, and many of his internal organs weakened due to prolonged injury from his younger days."

"He wants to talk with you."

Huo Yuhao glanced at Huang Qiu'er and said, "Qiu'er, keep practicing."

"I will go with Koushiro-san."

"Mm." Huang Qiu'er nodded in understanding and went to her practice immediately.

Then, Koushiro and Huo Yuhao went to the Dojo.

Huo Yuhao asked Koushiro where Zoro was, and the glasses-wearing sword master told him the green-haired brat had been dueling his daughter since yesterday.

"He's probably sleeping in our backyard." Koushiro chuckled weakly.

Huo Yuhao chuckled, "I can see that happening."

They arrived at the Dojo and went to the house behind it.

Huo Yuhao entered the house and saw the bedridden Kozaburo with Kuina tending him.

"Grandpa, have some fruits!" Kuina said while offering a sliced apple.

Kozaburo bitterly ate the apple because he didn't want to eat anything right now. He wanted to finish his work! His MASTERPIECE!

"Brat, what are you doing here?" He noticed Huo Yuhao and his son walk into his bedroom.

Huo Yuhao snorted, "What else, to keep you alive."

Kozaburo snorted back, "My life is my life. It has nothing to do with you."

"Koushiro, bring Kuina to play."

"Mm," Koushiro replied with a nod, bringing Kuina out of the bedroom.

After the two left, the atmosphere became incredibly tense.

Kozaburo glanced at the open window and felt a refreshing wind hit his face. "You want to keep me alive?"

"Yes." Huo Yuhao replied casually.

"I'm glad you have such a kind heart, but you don't have to," Kozaburo added with a self-mocking smirk. "I know the condition with my body, but the bigger problem lies within my spirit..."

"After crafting my two masterpieces, Wado Ichimonji and Enma, I left my homeland and want to experience the world with many of my comrades."

"We thrive but also get ourselves tangled in conflict."

"I got stranded in a small village and fell in love with a village girl... She was the most beautiful girl."

"But fate has a different end for us."

"The reason I never seriously smith anymore is because I injured my spirit in a fight."

"To create an enchanted blade, I used my family's secret technique and burned the metal with my soul. Still, the ember in my soul got weakened after continuous usage."

"But I don't want to give up."

"I overestimated myself."

"Yesterday, I knocked myself cold. I'm already so old, creating more masterpieces is impossible..."

"Still, I don't want to give up!" He roared while clenching his hands, tears running from his eyes. "I won't die in peace if I can't create another masterpiece."

Huo Yuhao watched this, "I can help you."

"I can even revive people from the dead."

"Pfft..." Kozaburo laughed at him. "You're talking like you're a god."

Huo Yuhao smiled, "I am, Old Man."

"I'm a God."

Kozaburo's eyes widened as his surroundings changed. He's standing on the ground, watching Huo Yuhao bask in the divine aura of fortune.

"Fuck, you got to be kidding me!" Kozaburo cursed on the spot.

Huo Yuhao shrugged, "Believe it or not, I'm the God of Fortune."

"That's a fact."

"So, do you want to live?"

Kozaburo stared at Huo Yuhao solemnly but eventually broke his stubborn facade, "No."

"What?" Huo Yuhao was speechless.

"What do you mean by no?"

Kozaburo sat on the ground, "I have no attachment to the world..."

"Besides creating another masterpiece..."

"Koushiro is an adult."

"Maybe my granddaughter, Kuina. Still, she's a big girl already. Can you help me by watching over her?"

"..." Huo Yuhao's mouth twitched.

Kozaburo saw Huo Yuhao's sour expression and added, "I'm telling the truth. I've been thinking of accompanying my wife on the other side."

"I will be thankful if you allow me to create another masterpiece."

"Grant me my physique and spirit at peak for ten-! No, seven hours are enough."

"And I will show you my skill."

"Very well." Huo Yuhao extended his hand.

Heavenly Dao of Time, Physical Regression.

Heavenly Dao of Life, Soul Nourishment.

At that moment, a bright green and gray light flashed in Kozaburo's bedroom.

"Father, you..." Koushiro entered the room and saw a fierce-looking man in his father's clothing.

"Move, I want to enter my workshop!" Kozaburo excitedly pushed his son aside, running to the workshop. He also patted Kuina on the way.

"Young Master Huo, what happened?" Koushiro questioned Huo Yuhao with a confused look.

Huo Yuhao stood from the chair, "I'm giving the Old Man his last wish."

"Let's go. Let's watch the Old Man's ember burn till the end."

Huo Yuhao, Koushiro, and Kuina went to the small workshop.

They watched the bare-chested Kozaburo move with vigor, hammering a piece of metal with a wide grin.

"HAHAHA, IT'S BEEN A WHILE! I CAN'T BELIEVE I CAN MOVE LIKE THIS AFTER SO LONG~!" Kozaburo laughed joyfully.

Koushiro was stunned, his eyes moistened slightly.

"Grandpa?" Kuina was puzzled. Yet the sight of her young grandfather stuck in her mind.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Kuzaburo moved with the finest, hammering the hot iron skillfully. He was like a storm in this small workshop.

Five hours later, Koushiro and Kuina are stuck on their feet.

Huo Yuhao leaned on the door and crossed his arms, "Grandmaster-level."

"At his peak, he was actually a Grandmaster Blacksmith, who was very close to Saint level..."

"No, he's about to become a Saint-level Swordsmith now."

Thunderclouds appeared above Shimotsuki Village.

BOOM!

Thunderclap echoed.

Huo Yuhao peeked at the sky, "Even the Tiny World's natural order is testing Old Man's will."

"Hehe, interesting."

Kozaburo visibly aged in Kunia's vision, making the young girl clutch her father's sleeve.

"Father, is Grandpa going to be fine?"

"He will..." Koushiro answered tearfully.

"He will reach a higher realm."

"HAHAHA~!" Kozaburo laughed like a madman. "LET THE HEAVEN WITNESS MY FINEST CREATION!"

A thunderstrike descent.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!

Huo Yuhao stretched his hand, and an invisible shadow covered the village, repelling the thunderstrike.

Cough!

Kozaburo looked like his previous old self, coughing blood profusely at his last masterpiece. He grabbed the warm sheath and walked to Huo Yuhao, pressing it on his chest.

"Brat, I fulfill my promise..."

"This is my win." He grinned foolishly at him.

Huo Yuhao calmly looked at him, "Normally, I won't admit defeat, but alright."

"This is your win."

"Hehe~!" Kozaburo's eyes lit up and then dimmed. He fell, kneeling on the ground.

"Father!"

"Grandpa!"

Koushiro and Kuina looked down while Huo Yuhao looked up.

Kozaburo's soul floated, 'Don't forget... Take care of my granddaughter.'

'If possible, take her as your disciple.'

'Oy, you're asking too much.' Huo Yuhao's eyes glimmered.

'Haha, remember, the winner takes all!' Kozaburo's soul became faint and then disappeared. The result of getting overworked, even his soul perished by making items that defy natural order.

Huo Yuhao examined the sword's sheath in his hand, "Old Man, doing you a favor would change this timeline, but so be it."

"To think I will accept a disciple."
