After the fight between Yuan and Count George Monbrook was over, Yuan and his wives as well as Leah were currently resting in the dining area of the Dandelion Inn.

Leah was staring at Yuan with a surprised look on her face, seemingly in disbelief.

She knows that Yuan is strong, stronger than his wives who defeated an entire group of goblins in the goblin's cave alone. However, she also saw him defeating the goblins who were keeping an eye on them and were guarding the exit.

However, never in her wildest imagination, she thought that Yuan would be this powerful. She was speechless when she saw Yuan destroying Count George's forbidden magic so effortlessly.

Everyone in Monbrook City knows how powerful their Lord was. Not only their Lord was a peak sixth-circle lightning mage but also the strongest Count of the Kingdom, defeating him was almost impossible. And yet, Yuan defeated him so effortlessly and humiliated him in such a hilarious way in front of his citizens.

'I never imagined Yuan would be so powerful that he could destroy such phenomenal forbidden magic with the ability to wipe out a whole city, and I can't believe I'm now a part of such a formidable group... I hope I don't become a burden to him, he is just too strong while I'm so weak and can't even protect myself...' Leah sighed quietly, knowing she didn't deserve to be a part of such a formidable group.

A few minutes later, Miss Brooklyn came out of the kitchen while carrying a pot of tea and a few cups along with a few snacks on a large tray.

"I hope I didn't keep you guys waiting. I've brought tea and snacks." She then placed the tray on the round table and took the unoccupied seat next to Leah.

"Certainly not. You arrived just in time..." Anna Grace shook her head and instantly responded with a smile.

Xi Meili's eyes lit up with excitement as she looked at the plate packed with delicious-looking cookies, and she stared at the plate with a salivating expression as she envisioned herself eating those cookies and relishing the sweet taste.

Yuan and his wives noticed the look on Xi Meili's face and shook their heads as they knew what was going on inside her mind.

Meanwhile, Leah and Miss Brooklyn were perplexed by Xi Meili's behavior, which they perceived as childish and immature, but which they believed to be quite cute and suited to her nature.

After serving tea for everyone, Miss Brooklyn took a sip and said, "I still can't believe that Count George tried to destroy this entire city along with its people with his most powerful forbidden magic... What was he thinking? How could he make such an absurd decision like that?"

"I thought Count George to be a good Lord who takes care of his citizens and takes his responsibilities very seriously, but I've never thought that he would be such a narrow-minded person who's driven mad for revenge that he would consider sacrificing his own people..."

"It appears that all this time I was looking at a fake persona of Count George, while his true personality was lurking behind a mask... They are not someone we should trust, as one would anticipate from a noble." Miss Brooklyn released a long sigh as she finally realized that nobles are someone who can be trusted, as they hide their real intention behind a mask.

"You've just realized that?" Anna Grace let out a small chuckle, then her expression instantly turned a tad bit cold. "All nobles are always like that. They're just a bunch of disgusting bunch. They could go to any length to achieve their goals, even if it means sacrificing their own family members."

"Miss Anna Grace, you sound like you have got a fair share of experience in dealing with the nobles." Miss Brooklyn said with a smile on her face, surprised by her tone as she spoke about nobles.

"Indeed. I do have a fair share of experience with the nobles and likes." Anna Grace responded with a mysterious smile on her face, causing Miss Brooklyn to be confused by her smile as it was too mysterious for her to guess.

As they enjoyed the delicious tea and the cookies, they continued to chat and they talked about various things aside from the madness of Count George Monbrook.

Miss Brooklyn was very curious about their journey, and so she asked Anna Grace about it as she was curious to know what kind of danger they encountered until they arrived in this city.

"Well, I don't mind sharing our experience with you, Miss Brooklyn." With a smile, Anna Grace said.

"Then why waste time, please tell me about it, I'm very thrilled to hear about your journey."

"Me too. Miss Anna Grace, I'd also like to hear about your adventure." Leah added, a happy expression on her face.

Anna Grace let out a small chuckle as she saw their eagerness to hear about their adventure, and she began telling them about her experiences along the way.

Miss Brooklyn and Leah listened intently to Anna Grace's speech, not missing a single word.

Sometimes later, Anna Grace finished her story about their adventure, and she finished her tea before putting the empty cup on the table.

"I can't believe that you all have fought and defeated so many monsters along the way, I must say you guys had a thrilling adventure, Miss Anna Grace." Miss Brooklyn said with a smile on her face, honestly she was truly captivated by Yuan and his wives adventure story and wanted to experience it herself, but alas she had to take care of the Inn as well as her family.

Sometime later, Yuan turned to see his wives and said, "The sun is almost set, let's go shopping and restock our supplies for our journey."

"Oh, I forgot we were almost out of stock. It would be disastrous if we didn't have enough supplies to get us to the capital." Anna Grace answered swiftly, almost forgetting that they were out of supplies and needed to replenish before heading to the capital.

Miss Brooklyn's ears picked up on what they were discussing, and she asked, "Ummm, Mr. Yuan? Are you all leaving for the capital tomorrow?"

"Indeed. We've stayed in this city far more than what we've planned, we can't afford to waste our time in this city anymore." Yuan replied.

"Is that so?" Miss Brooklyn exclaimed with a low voice.

"Alright, then we'll head out for some shopping," Yuan said before leaving the Inn with his wives and Leah.

A minute later, As Yuan and his wives as well as Leah were walking down the street, they heard people talking about today's incident and most of them looked very furious at Count George's madness for using a forbidden magic to destroy the city and kill all the citizens.

When they saw Yuan and his wives walking down the street, their expressions suddenly froze and they could feel their heartbeats keep increasing, fearing that Yuan would do something to them for whispering about his fight with Count George.

They've witnessed how he tortured both Count George and his son Henrik so mercilessly, that they didn't want to get the same treatment as the father and son duo from Yuan.

"See Darling, how terrified do they look after seeing us? If you release a killing intent now, I'm afraid that they will poop in their pants." Anna Grace teased Yuan, with a small chuckle on her face.

"And why do you think I would do that?" Yuan shook his head with a helpless smile after hearing his Mom's words.

"I'm just teasing you, darling." Anna Grace chuckled.

They ignored the people's gaze and headed towards the large shop Yuan had before where he brought some fine-quality iron ores.

Inside a spacious dark room, nine hooded people were sitting around an extremely large round table, no one could see each other's faces because of the hood and they were all wearing black clothes with a golden skull embalm in the left chest area.

Every one of them was emitting a profound aura, creating an eerie atmosphere around them.

One of the figures took out a piece of paper with a message written in code words and placed it on the table, and suddenly the piece of paper lifted off from the table and levitated in the center of the table.

"What is this, Victor?" One of the people from across the table asked with a confused voice.

"A message..." Victor calmly replied without any emotion in his voice.

"I can see that. But what is this message saying? And whom is this message from?" The person asked with a little irritated voice, as he was very annoyed by Victor's response.

"Don't be like that, Marcus. This is a message from Countess Karla from Windfall Kingdom."

"Countess Karla? Isn't she the wife of Count George Monbrook from Monbrook City?" Another person asked, curious about why the wife of Count George Monbrook contacted them after so long.

"That's right. She is the wife of Count George Monbrook," Victor nodded with a smile, and he continued. "The message is about a young man who defeated her husband and her son and crippled them mercilessly, and she mentioned that this young man somehow destroyed the powerful forbidden magic spell we provided them."

"What?!" Everyone exclaimed with a surprised look on their faces, seemingly in disbelief.
