"The last day," I said as I flew into the sky.

It is more like a half day. I will be out of this realm by the evening.

I hope the today goes uneventfully. I don't want to fight anyone. There shouldn't be any battle today. We are too close to exit with a lot of people from the Tor and our allies.

Still, I remained careful. There are a lot of people who want to kill us.

We have a lot of enemies. Cultists, organizations, and a combination of both that are coming at us.

Yesterday, I fought five different groups of people and nine lone wolves.

I needed to kill quite a lot of them.

It's not something, I particularly enjoy, but learn to do it when there is no other choice.

'It should be safe,' I said as my waves began to detect people everywhere around me. half of them are not even traveling, but patrolling the route.

Some people are given this responsibility. Every organization does this in a realm like this. Soon, it was afternoon, and everything seemed great. I hadn't noticed even a single battle, which made me happy.

There is a reason, that I don't really want to fight. I had changed my skin; I am wearing the same, as I did when I had entered the ruin first.

I rather not reveal my strength, since I am going to need to reveal it to one person.

Hun!

Another house passed, and I sensed the fluctuation of the battle. Seeing that, I couldn't help but sigh.

Though, I moved toward it.

A little more than a minute later, confusion appeared on my face and a moment after that, the urgency disappeared.

There is a battle going on all right, but it is between two members of Tor. It's why people watching from the sidelines without interfering.

With people around. Those two won't kill each other.

There are strict rules about killing the members of the organization.

We could only do that under specific conditions. If we do it without a serious enough to cause, there is a heavy punishment.

I didn't stop despite knowing they were not in danger. It seemed interesting, seeing how those whispering to each other while smiling.

Soon, I stopped beside the white deer beastwoman. She is familiar to me; I did one mission with her.

"What is happening?" I asked.

"Lover's quarrel," she replied while I arched my brown in surprise. I expected it to be interesting, but didn't expect it to be this interesting.

"That is Jade. Her husband cheated on her with her friend, while they were in the same abode. They have been fighting, since, morning," she explained.

"Wow," I said.

Like mortals, practitioners also cheat. It is just as common as it is among the mortals, even

more so.

I still remember one incident; I had handled it personally when I was headmaster.

While the human resources handled such things, the husband and wife were pretty powerful. More than even head of department.

Thus, that responsibility fell on me.

It was messy, and I wanted to run away from it but needed to handle it as the headmaster.

I had resigned, not long after that. Letting my successor take over.

To be honest, I never much liked being the headmaster. I rather spend time with my family and friends and focus on my practice rather than lead, but sometimes there is no choice.

I sighed and wiped the tears away from my eyes before flying away.

The battle is interesting seeing how they are screaming at each other, but I rather reach the exit as soon as possible.

Once I reach the organization. I will hand those things to the person who had sent me here for and make the recovery in the safety of my suite.

I had stayed long enough in this realm.

That I decided, I would not leave, my place till I reach the limit and finish my inheritance.

I was quite close to the limit. I would have been even closer if I hadn't gotten so much injured in the battle.

Hayat was one dangerous enemy. The one, that forced me to burn my blood in full power. I had faced very few such enemies in my life.

I have survived, but barely.

It's such a hit to the confidence. I had never doubted, there would be people stronger than me in this ruin. I just didn't expect, they would be strong enough to make me burn my blood.

It was an invaluable lesson that I will remember for a while.

Soon, it was evening, and only an hour had remained, till I reached the gate.

I could already see the bright light the gate was releasing. It is quite faint, but the distance is

also huge.

I could faster and reach there in less than half time, but I needed to maintain the strength this

persona had.

People here are looking at each other carefully.

They will note many things. If they found my speed surprising, they might note that too and I

rather not let any prime find out about my true strength.

Especially after one is going to know about it already.

So, I buried the impatience and continued moving toward the gate.

Minutes passed, and I could see the gate. It is big enough that a person, twice my height,

could pass through it rather easily.

There are people around the gate and a powerful formation. Strong enough to stop the attack

of someone like Hayat.

I looked at the things. Still cautious; I have experienced enough things in my life to be cautious in the friendliest situations.

Thud!

I landed at the edge of the formation and flashed my badge at it. Immediately, it turned green, and I stepped inside.

"Were you at the castle?" asked the blue-haired woman. To that, I sighed.

"I wanted to, but I was late, by a mere few hours," I replied with a voice full of regret.

"I was by two days. There were really great rewards in it this time," she replied, with eyes filled with regret for the missed opportunity.

She is an excellent actor.

She was in the castle. On the top twenty, actually.

I smiled and stopped at the gate. I looked at it for a few seconds before taking a step inside.
