MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith
Chapter 1535 - 1535: Grinding Experience (3)“[Orb of Apyrhan]!”
Whoosh!
Casting yet another fireball towards his current opponent, Ataraxia watched as the large red wolf charged at him with bloodlust, its momentum powerful enough to instill immense fear to those fighting it for the first time.
However, with his combat experience now spanning over two lives, the young man remained unperturbed by the wolf’s imposing might, looking at it with a slightly indifferent gaze before extending one of his hands outward.
“Bind.”
Swoosh!
With Mystic Energy forcing the red wolf’s momentum to a screeching halt, the massive orb of flames eventually struck the wolf directly at its most vital spot, causing it to howl out in pain as a massive number soon appeared above its head.
Seeing that the wolf still lived even after conjuring an empowered spell, Ataraxia inwardly clicked his tongue before casting [Orb of Apyrhan] once more, rendering the wolf truly dead once and for all.
Ding!

[You have slain a Level 75 True Crimson Wolf. You have gained 963,198 XP.]
“Hmm.”
Taking a brief look at the amount of XP he gained from killing his latest monster, Ataraxia went over the fight he just had in his mind before sending a signal to the staff to send a monster that was one level above what he previously fought.
Creak…
Watching one of the other gates on the killing ground slowly open to reveal his next opponent, the young man slightly raised his eyebrow in curiosity once he noticed that the monster the staff brought out was slightly more ferocious than usual.
“A lion, huh?” murmured the young man, taking note of the monster’s full yet sharp mane. “This monster is still susceptible to magic, right?”
“…Yes, sir,” replied the leader of the group, the shock and disbelief he felt towards the young man’s feats having already worn out for quite some time. “Should we change it for something else instead?”
“No need.” Ataraxia shook his head in response, activating one of his buffs as he watched the lion close in on him.
“I’ve yet to obtain what I want out of this anyway.”
…
“What…?”
Although she read the message Mystia sent to her sometime earlier, the attendant still could not believe what she was seeing.
When she met Ataraxia at first, her first impression of the young man was someone who was still trying to learn the ropes of what he needed to do. After all, it was rare for her to see someone his age enter the killing grounds with an air of innocence around them.
As far as she could remember, almost everyone that entered the killing grounds had a slightly baleful aura around them. Of course, that was because almost every person that entered the killing grounds had a path to power that had something to do with killing.
Because of that, she was thrown for a loop when the young man she thought looked oblivious was actually connected to a person almost everyone knew and looked up to within the empire.
Then again, that confusion was amplified even further when she read the message Mystia sent to her, telling her to treat the young man just like how the killing grounds would treat any of their more esteemed members.
Just as this message made her begin to think that there was more to the young man in front of her than met the eye, the latter continued to treat her with the same air of innocence she felt from the start, which made her wonder why Mystia had given him such high praise.
Fortunately, the answer to that question eventually appeared the moment Ataraxia stepped onto the killing ground, easily shifting the innocent aura surrounding him into one of the most ferocious auras she had ever come across throughout her time in the killing grounds.
Whoosh! Whoosh!
Utilizing powerful spells that invoked awe and fear to those that became its targets, the attendant watched the young man easily defeat all of the monsters he requested from the staff, which unsurprisingly made both her and the staff look at him with disbelief on their faces.
Though, with how he’d chosen to fight the monsters in a way where each subsequent level caused the monster’s level to go up by one, the shock they felt was more subdued, especially once he had shown them how he defeated a monster one class rank above him with great ease.
Yet, that subdued shock gradually transformed into permanent shock once Ataraxia showed them how he could handle Rank 5 monsters with just a few spells.
Or to be more specific, how he fought a peak Rank 5 monster without it even landing a single hit on him.
With that, the attendant eventually understood why Mystia had sent a message to her, realizing that the young man that interacted with her was more special than she initially thought.
However, the current situation only began to make more sense to her once she found out through the staff that the young man she accompanied was one of the top contenders for one of the kingdom-level Myriad Prodigies Tournament.
After all, which normal person would elect to fight not only a small group of peak Rank 5 monsters at once…
But a small group of Mythic Elite-tier peak Rank 5 monsters?
…
“[Soul Fusion].”
Whoosh!
Glancing at his current set of opponents with immense calm, Ataraxia swerved through all of the attacks sent his way with ease as he activated one of the more potent buffs in his arsenal.
“[Orb of Apyrhan].”
Making use of the limited space of the killing grounds to his advantage, the young man conjured the usual orb of flames towards one of the monsters before proceeding to put some distance between him and the small group.
Bang!
Understanding that even a single one of those orbs would inflict a great amount of damage to them, the monsters knew not to get hit by it, avoiding the orb with ease before continuing to close the gap between them.
Continuing to send orb after orb of flames towards the monsters as he ran around, Ataraxia watched as the monsters’ sense of security gradually disappeared, causing him to inwardly smile as he thought about how they were thinking of him as someone who could only stall their movements.
Keeping that lulled sense of security in mind, the young man soon closed the gap between him and one of the monsters, only to then send out an attack that render any of the monster’s attempts at escape useless.
“[Noctilucent Metanoia].”
Casting a terrifying beam of black and white light towards its intended target, Ataraxia then proceeded to use Mystic Energy to pin all of the remaining monsters in place, only to then repeat the same process until all of them were rendered dead.
Ding!
