Chapter 4772: Compassion

While the others were trying to find their senior brothers and sisters to join them in their search for the Nine-Section Red Flame Phoenix Whip, Hao’er and the other two were already surveying the area.

“Senior Brother, where should we go to find the whip?”

On the way here, their master had told them what the main purpose of their trip was, so they knew early on that their master had brought them here to see the world, but also because of a precious whip.

“Let’s look for it first! Be careful to protect the petals on your arms, don’t let anyone hurt them, or they will be sent away,” Hao’er reminded them.

“Yes, we know,” the two younger ones replied.

“Let’s go and take a look ahead first,” said Hao’er, motioning for the two to follow him.

The two followed him forward, paying attention to their surroundings. They walked a long way without encountering anyone else, so they decided to take a break.

“Senior Brother, Second Senior Brother, let’s protect the petals! It will be safer with a layer of protection.” While resting, Yue’er took out some bandages from her space, then took out a gold coin and wrapped her arm with the bandages before letting down her sleeves.

Seeing this, Hao’er and Muchen followed her example and made some simple protective measures. After the three of them were done, they drank some water and continued on their way.

“Roooooar!”

“Something’s moving!” Hao’er whispered, signaling the other two to be careful. They held their breath and followed the sound, coming to a large tree. When they saw the scene in front of them, their eyes flashed.

In front of them was a huge gray bear, about two meters tall. With each step it took, it left a deep footprint on the ground. The fierce beast had a cruel look in its eyes, and its open mouth revealed sharp fangs. At that moment, it was lunging forward with its hands and feet, trying to bite a boy around ten years old in front of it.

“It’s that boy.” Yue’er blinked. She knew him. Apart from them, he was the youngest. She didn’t expect him to be alone.

To their surprise, despite his young age, the boy was remarkably agile, dodging the bear’s attacks left and right. However, he was still just a child of around ten years old, and soon he was panting heavily, knocked to the ground by a bear’s paw, coughing up blood and looking utterly battered.

“Arghhhh!”

He let out a cry of pain as the bear’s sharp claws slashed across his body, leaving several marks.

Seeing him beaten so badly, Yue’er bit her lip and looked at her two brothers, asking, “Should we help him?”

Muchen didn’t say anything, just frowned and looked ahead.

Hao’er looked indifferent and said, “If he doesn’t want to die, he can save himself by cutting his arm and escaping. There’s no need for us to save him. If we save him, he will become our rival in the battle for the Nine-Section Red Flame Phoenix Scale Whip. When the time comes, are we supposed to go easy on him?”

Hearing this, Yue’er opened her mouth but couldn’t refute it. She knew that Big Brother was telling the truth, and her older brother didn’t say anything, so he probably agreed with Big Brother’s approach. Moreover, Master had said that if the three of them obtained the whip, it would be given to her.

Thinking of this, her heart was set.

Her master, Big Brother, and her older brother were all looking for weapons that she could use in the future. No matter what, she couldn’t let them down!
