Loving Madeline

Chapter 307 Epilogue-Book 1 Loving Madeline

Madeline's POV

We were preparing for our son's fifth birthday in the garden when I suddenly felt so dizzy, and I ran inside the house since I could feel I am about to vomit the food that I eat during breakfast, I didn't reach the sink, I ended up throwing up in front of the main door; my family was with me immediately.

"Mom, are you okay?" I heard our child's sweet voice while my husband was beside me in an instant holding my hair into a ponytail as he let me vomit, but there is none left only my saliva.

"Hey, buddy, go to your Aunt Lily while I will take good care of mom, okay?" My husband asked our little boy, and I could see the worries on his face.

"Okay, dad," Frank responded and he ran towards Lily.

"How are you feeling, my love?" Hunter asked with worries all over his face after he gave me a cup of hot water. I couldn't believe he will carry me inside the house as if I weigh nothing at all.

"Hey, why do you look like that?" I asked, and he held my hand and kissed my knuckles before he answered my question.

"I am worried about you, my love," he responded and I laughed.

"Don't worry about me, okay?" I asked, and he shook his head.

"How can I not be worried when you throw up like that and now you are telling me you can't stand up since you felt dizzy." He replied.

"I think I should call our family doctor to check on you, or it is better if I will take you to the hospital," he added.

"You have to relax, Gina is on her way," I replied.

"Is Gina a doctor now? I knew she married a surgeon, yet it doesn't mean she has the knowledge to see what is going on with you. Come on, my love, don't make this harder for me." He complained, and I wanted to laugh at my husband's reaction but he looked so adorable that I couldn't afford to laugh at him.

"I know, but I asked her to buy a pregnancy test," I said and my husband's expression made me want to cry.

"You mean, you could be pregnant?" He asked with tears in his eyes.

"Yeah, I missed my period last month, and now, I think I am having morning sickness," I responded.

I almost screamed when my husband carried me and turn me around shouting with joy that he is going to be a dad, and in an instant, we were surrounded by our family members again saying their congratulations even before we can confirm I was really pregnant.

"It is positive!" I said the moment I took the test inside our bedroom.

"Yes, I am going to be a dad again, and I couldn't wait to paint the nursery room, and I am sure this time we will have a baby girl." He said, and I beamed at him.

"My love, girl or boy, we should be happy to have another gift from God," I replied and he came closer to me and put his arms around me.

"Of course, my love, girl or boy, I would love him like the way I love Frank, and I will give our children all the love that they deserve and everything this world can offer, and I promised, I will be a good father to our children." He stated.

"You don't need to promise anything, I know you are a great dad, Hunter, and the best husband I could ever ask for," I responded and he beamed before he captured my mouth and kissed me passionately.

It was one of the best days of our lives, and I felt so happy that my pregnancy test turned out positive. Our little boy was so excited when we told him the good news that he is going to be a big brother soon.

"You should stay at home, my love, no more walking," Hunter said one night as he kissed my bump, and I let out a soft sigh as I cupped his face.

"Hey, it was nothing, my OB said I would be fine," I responded.

"You are only overreacting, my love," I added, and he took my hands.

"I am not overreacting, Maddie, I don't want anything to happen to you and our baby, you had bleeding, and we should take it seriously." He replied.

"Trust me on this, we will be fine, my love. My OB was one of the best doctors in this country" I said as I looked him in the eyes.

"Okay, but please, no more gardening, Madeline," he responded and I nodded my head.

"No more chasing butterflies with Frank in the afternoon, just sit down at the gazebo and let them fly around you. If you want I can stay with you in the gazebo." He added.

"You don't need to do that, my love. You need to go to work." I answered.

"My work can wait, I am the CEO, remember?" He asked and I laughed.

"Thank you, Hunter, for being a good husband, but you have to have some faith in my doctor and me, I will tell you if I don't feel better, okay?" I replied, and I could see he relaxed a little.

I gave birth to our beautiful daughter, Hanna and we couldn't be happier. She is my mini-me, and our lives became livelier when she came into our lives. As our children grow older we became closer to them.

I felt so happy when Gina finally found someone and not an ordinary someone, she got married to the most renowned surgeon all over Neospoli Country, and they were blessed with three kids, one boy, and two girls. The eldest is now twenty years old while their second child is seventeen, and the youngest is fourteen.

Lily took over the company after she graduated from college, but she always have time to visit us and I knew she couldn't stop herself from visiting her niece and nephew, and of course, I knew she misses her mother the most since Hunter's mother stayed with us in my grandpa's castle, and I felt glad my grandfather Hector is still healthy and kicking.

What is more exciting is that Calixto Morgan is still working at the Divenson Mining company, and he is now the assistant of Lily. I am so proud of Lily, and everyone knew we had a special bond, and I love her so much.

Lily always called me every time, she was bored, happy, upset, and most of all, every time someone broke her heart, but she is coming to Neospoli to finally introduce us to her fiance, a businessman she met during one of her business trips in Europe.

Charlotte was now happy with her life, and I couldn't believe my husband would do something outrageous that put our relationship to a test when I received a call from his sister one day and she was asking me for help. I know it was all in the past now, but I still couldn't believe my husband was willing to do everything just to keep me safe.

I couldn't believe eighteen years had passed since I gave birth to our lovely daughter, and now, we are getting dressed since we will be celebrating Hanna's eighteenth birthday and Frank would be her escort. I felt so happy that our children are good kids, they never gave us headaches growing up.

"Hey, why do you look sad, my love?" Hunter asked as he looked at my reflection in the mirror while his arms were around my waist.

"It is our daughter's birthday, you have to be happy," he added.

"I am happy, I just couldn't believe time flies so fast, and Hanna is no longer our baby, she is now a grown woman, and I don't want her to get married yet." I declared and my husband chuckled.

"Hey, today is our daughter's eighteenth birthday and she is not getting married, Madeline." My husband responded.

"I married you when I was only nineteen years old, and I couldn't imagine myself giving away my daughter to a man, she is still my baby, my love," I answered.

"Do you regret marrying me?" He asked as he kissed my neck, and I giggled.

"Of course not, you are my first of everything, and would be my last, marrying you was the best decision I have ever made in my entire life, and if I have to go back in time, I will still marry you, Mr. Divenson," I said and he smiled at me and looked at me in the same manner since the day I first met him, he was staring at me with the same love and lust.

"Do you still love me even if I am old?" I asked and my husband's laughter reverberated inside our bedroom.

"Who told you that? You are still smoking hot, Madeline, you are only in your early forties, and you still looked the same to me, you are still the beautiful and hot young woman I fell in love with, and I will never stop loving you, my lovely wife, my Madeline." He whispered as he turned me around so I would be facing him.

"Always remember this, Maddie, my love for you is like wine, the longer we are married to each other; my love for you will become deeper and stronger, and falling in love with you was the best thing that ever happened in my life, and being in love with you is what gives me happiness I couldn't explain in words." He added as he was staring at my face with great intensity.

"I will love you even if your hair would turn grey, and even if you find it hard to walk because of your arthritis, I would still love you even if we forget each other's name because of Alzheimer, I love you, Madeline, now, and forever." He continued.

"I love you more, my love," I said in more than a whisper as I felt tears of happiness flowed down my cheeks as I realized I am happily married to my hot and handsome husband, and he did everything he can to make me feel love and safe at all times.

Most of all, Hunter made sure I will feel his love for me every day by never leaving my side. I know whatever comes our way, we will surpass anything because we have each other, and our love for each other is the source of our strength.
