"I should have known better."

A crimson light bloomed in the darkness as a girl walked with staggering steps.

The tunnel exploded and created several cracks.

The scarlet-haired girl wiped her bloody mouth and mumbled, "Just you wait..."

With that, the girl let herself get swept by the dimensional storm and followed the stream of space. 

A faint white protective barrier covered her petite body, but the girl knew it was a futile attempt.

This second timeline was well-carved by Xiao Lingxi(Ancestral God) as she even made Xia Qingyue(the artifact of fate) to fix Yun Che's life.

She even sacrificed 800 of her lifetime to grant Yun Che a unique constitution called Ancestral Sacred Body or Ancestral Body of Nothingness.

Unfortunately for Yun Che and Ancestral God.

A variable like Yu Long appeared out of nowhere and broke the well-prepared path.

At first, Kaiju Maker couldn't accept how his beloved Xia Qingyue's life was 'inherently' manipulated by this Simp Ancestral God. He even ridiculed the first being of the Primal Chaos because of it.

He hated it.

That's why Yu Long devised a quick plan. 

A plan that would change Primal Chaos and its fate forever by turning Ancestral God into his loyal follower.

And he only has 200 years, which is more than enough.

Xiao Lingxi(the 1000th reincarnation) won't be able to activate the Ancestral God's power, and Yu Long even sealed the link between the two. 

By doing so, the 1000th reincarnation of Ancestral God becomes invalid.

Yu Long planned to twist that 1000th reincarnation to his benefit, possibly making the oldest being of Primal Chaos into his SIMP instead. 

He would make Ancestral God thoroughly attached to him, even couldn't bear the idea of living without him. Of course, he wouldn't treat Ancestral God as warmly as others because she messed with Xia Qingyue and needed to atone for it.

In short, Yu Long would turn Ancestral God into a slave. At least for quite a long period until the karma the Ancestral God forced on others is 'completely' evened.

"But Ancestral God deserves such a treatment." 

"Hmph, how dare she temper Qingyue's fate." He was still annoyed by this fact.

"My what?" A voice comes from behind.

"Uh..." Yu Long glanced back and saw Xia Qingyue in her conservative blue dress. Even though the dress didn't expose skin, it framed her developing curves beautifully.

Xia Qingyue tilted her head at Yu Long's reaction and asked, "I heard something about my name and fate. What's it all about, Big Brother?"

"Also, why do you look like a guilty child who hid someone from his parents?" 

"Did you hide something from me..?" She walked forward with a smile and whispered.

'Using your Heart of Snow Glazed Glass to interrogate me is cheating!' Yu Long shook his head bitterly. His lips twitched slightly.

Xia Qingyue giggled, "If you don't want to answer, it's okay." 

"When Big Brother hides something from me, I'm probably not ready to learn about it." 

Yu Long sighed in defeat, "Fine. I'll tell you in three months or so." 

"Three months, it is." Xia Qingyue's smile widened.

She placed down a picnic blanket and sat beside Yu Long, leaning her head against his right shoulder. "I wish we could stay like this forever." 

"Yeah." Yu Long agreed. However, knowing the imminent future, he knew a peaceful time like this would end soon.

Two youngsters sat on the massive rock, enjoying each other's presence and warmth. They could step into the next step anytime, but one is too shy, and the other is too well, afraid of a certain organization.

"Big Brother..." Xia Qingyue called him softly. 

"I-I heard that when two lovers meet, they always greet each other with a kiss." 

"Don't you think we should start kissing now?" 

Yu Long blinked in surprise and said, "I mean... Yeah."

"Un." Xia Qingyue buried her face on his chest, blushing hard. She could feel her cheeks burning from the embarrassment.

Yu Long chuckled and responded, "Then, do you want to try?" 

"Kissing, that is." 

Xia Qingyue didn't say anything but still nodded her head. It's so damn adorable!

Yu Long took a deep breath and lifted Xia Qingyue's chin, watching her face flush. 

Finally, Yu Long kissed her lips lightly.

Xia Qingyue's heart was about to burst from the feelings she was experiencing right now. 

It was warm and fuzzy, filling her with happiness.

Yu Long wanted to kiss her again and thought, 'The only thing that could stop me is someone falling from the sky.' 

As if the world is responding to Yu Long, a spatial tear appears above them, and someone falls. 

'Oy, Oy, you gotta be kidding me! I Was Joking!' Yu Long gazed at the falling scarlet-haired girl. 

Yu Long somehow felt the Mirror of Samsara made him inherit Yun Che's shitty protagonist halo instead. Why is it so random?!
