"Yuyan, make a tea or something warm for me."

Yu Long's pained groan echoed in the research chamber.

The young man climbed down from the table. He grabbed a chair to sit and circulate his profound strength.

The aftereffect of [Kaiju Synchronization]'s forced deactivation felt like Yu Long's whole being torn apart by raging waves. It was an unpleasant experience but a worthwhile price for some reason.

Yuyan brought a cup of warm milk and handed it to Yu Long, "Here, Master."

Yu Long picked up the cup and drank the milk, feeling his body coursed with warmness.

After finishing the milk, he noticed the 'Primordial Energy' within his inner world depleted to zero.

There is not even a drop of it anymore.

'Fuck!' He cursed in his mind.

Yu Long wondered what went wrong and figured that the 'Nothingness' realm he touched upon must be causing this. There is no other explanation for it.

He sighed and rubbed his temple helplessly, "It seems I have to increase [Kaiju Synchronization]'s grade from now on."

"I also have to unlock [Kaiju Maker's Authority] naturally. If not, I would end up like this again."

Zilong sat on the seat opposite Yu Long and asked, "What happened, Old Yu? Our [Kaiju Synchronization] connection got disrupted, and we also lost our linked vision as if you had gone blind."

"Yeah, Master." Yuyan worriedly looked at him.

"We must fortify the Blue Pole Star first. This place is the safest one because we could develop our strength steadily."

"That's true." Yuyan nodded in agreement. "I will start gathering more Master's Stones."

"Then, I will search for Ni Xuan's traces," Zilong responded while crossing his arms. "That man must have left something for future generations. He's well known for being too forgiving."

"Evil God is such a person?" Yu Long was confused.

Zilong chuckled, "Before a God, Evil God is still a person, you know?"

"Is that so?"

Yu Long remembered something and asked, "Hmm, where are the essence spheres I have pulled out from around the Blue Pole Star?"

"Here, we placed it in a sealed container because it releases an intense hue that makes us hungry." Zilong placed down box-sized spatial storage.

Yu Long smiled because it was understandable that Yuyan and Zilong's hunger was 'inherently' aroused by these essence spheres.

After all, these essence spheres were 'literally' made by Hayate Kurogami, his past life, someone who mastered [Kaiju Maker] in just three years.

The amount of energy in one essence sphere alone is better than Yu Long's version by a large margin.

Yu Long grabbed a random essence sphere from the spatial storage and commented, "I see..."

After observing the essence spheres in the spatial storage, Yu Long discovered that 4/5 of them are the raw essence of various Mutated Creatures in his previous life's world.

Some abilities are mediocre, but some are powerful enough to be graded as S-grade abilities.

As for 1/5 of the essence sphere, they are indeed Kaiju but lifeless.

Each Kaiju's essence sphere was 'actually' damaged in some way. It was unfortunate, but Yu Long could do nothing except fix them slowly.

"Hehe, watch this." Yu Long smirked and swallowed the milky pink-colored raw essence in one gulp.

Yu Long gazed at Yuyan and said, "Yuyan, do you feel something weird."

"Hmm, nothing in particular?" Yuyan was confused.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure-! Kyaa~!" Yuyan shivered because someone rubbed her neck, but there was no physical interaction between her and others. Even the air and spatial fabric felt normal.

An invisible bubble hovered in the air and entered Yuyan's chest, drawing out her strength.

"What's this ability?" Zilong, who watched from the sidelines, could feel a concentrated Phoenix Flame coming out of Yuyan's body in the shape of a bubble.

He could feel but not see it, as if the bubble existed in another dimension.

Yu Long snapped his finger, and a small burst of fire behind Yuyan's back, accidentally smacking her rear.

Yuyan blushed, and Yu Long awkwardly whistled because his control over these new abilities was low.

"M-Master, you're such a tease," Yuyan said flusteredly.

"If you want to smack my ass, I'm willing to do it with just the two of us around...."

Zilong gave Yu Long a thumbs-up and laughed, "Haha, I don't know you're so bold, Old Yu."

"Oh, shut up. You know I didn't mean to do that." Yu Long grumbled at the Void-Devouring Tyrant Dragon.

"So, what's with the new abilities?"

Yu Long lifted his hand, and invisible air appeared, "I gained two abilities, namely Force Bubble and Shadow Paw."

"It comes from an annoyed mutant beast called Thieving Cat."

"As the beast's name implies, Thieving Cat could touch someone without the target noticing by creating a paw-shaped constructed shadow."

"But the most dangerous ability is none other than Force Bubble."

"Thieving Cat's Force Bubble could plunder one's essence. This beast could plunder something tangible or abstract by making Force Bubble contact its target."

"As you sensed before, I stole a wisp of Yuyan's Phoenix Flame without her noticing."

"Yes, but it comes with a limitation. If not, Thieving Cat will be monarch-class Mutant Beast in my previous life." Yu Long shook his head funnily.

"The plunder's target must not exceed the bubble's size."

"At the moment, my Force Bubble is barely the size of a child's pinky."

Yuyan smacked her lips, "Master, I don't mind being your test subject."

"Please use your Force Bubble on me~!"

"No." Yu Long's mouth twitched. "I'll go to the surface."

"Well, there is time for that in the future."

"For now, teasing him is enough to make me satisfied."

"Women, how unreasonable..." Zilong mumbled quietly.

Yuyan narrowed her eyes indifferently, "Did you say something?"

"Nothing." Zilong looked away.

"Hmph. I thought so." Yuyan snorted.
