Chapter 2006: Because I’m bored

Those from the Beast Tamer Division wanted to vomit blood when they heard what Mu Ye Qi said.

How was this him speaking up on their behalf? He was obviously looking down on them!

“What do you mean by this? Are you looking down on us?” Someone just had to point out what he was insinuating. It had to be said. Qing Cai was an idiot, and so were those around him.

Fourth Elder was enraged and was about to brace himself to fight when Jia Nan Xin’s voice sounded lightly, “Qing Cai can’t hold on much longer.”

“Fourth Elder, let’s hurry and bring Young Master back!” Qing Cai’s little servant was about to cry. If his Young Master died, he would be dead for sure as well!

Fourth Elder had found his excuse as he got his men to pick up Qing Cai as he led the Beast Tamer Division back himself.

Mu Ye Qi stood on the rooftop and waved his hands towards those who had come to watch the show, “Alright, everyone can disperse!”

“You really want to help them? They’re people who beat up our sect mates!” Someone said.

Mu Ye Qi raised his chin at that person, “Then are you saying that you want to be on Qing Cai’s side?”

“I’m.. leaving!” That person said as he turned around to go.

If it was anyone else, they could still go up and beat them up. However, it was Mu Ye Qi. They could not be bothered to go head to head with him.

He thought this way, and so did everyone else. Hence, everyone left.

“It’s settled just like that? I thought that there would be a huge brawl!” Fu Xi said rather disappointedly.

“Child, it’s not good to enjoy fighting.” Mu Ye Qi said from the rooftop, “I hope that you really will be able to join our sect. Otherwise, I would have yelled for nothing.”

“I’m going back.” Jia Nan Xin said as he flew out the back. Mu Ye Qi hurried to chase after him.

“That person left just like that? He didn’t even leave his name!” Fu Xi pouted.

“It looks like these two are out of the ordinary. Their words carry some weight. I’m guessing that they’re quite highly ranked in the Hidden Sect. If we can enter it, we will naturally find out who they are. If we can’t join the sect, then it doesn’t matter even if we know who they are.” Sima You Yue said.

“That’s true. They’re probably thinking the same way.”

“Let’s go back to the inn. Although these people did not come to cause trouble for us, we did beat them up after all. I’m guessing that they won’t want to talk to us anymore.”

...

They waited in the inn for three days but before Yan Ya and Fei Yi managed to come, a few of the sect members came.

“We are members from the Music Division. Little Martial Uncle got us to come and take you to the mountain.” The man standing in front said.

“Are you here to pick us up?” Sima You Yue appraised the few of them and nodded, “Alright, wait a moment.”

She returned to her room then left with them.

The only waiter of the inn came to the front of the desk and tossed the cloth from his shoulder to the desk. He grit his teeth as he said, “Are we really not going to warn them?”

“Warn them about what?” The shopkeeper touched his chin with one hand as he closed his eyes. He nodded his head apathetically and it seemed like he had fallen sleep.

The waiter was too familiar with his attitude as he directly ignored him and said, “Those people aren’t from the Music Division. They look like they’re from the Beast Tamer Division. they definitely are up to no good since they came to pick her up. You Yue has gone with them, won’t they be in danger?”

The shopkeeper opened his eyes and yawned. He even stretched extremely ungracefully. Then, he took the cloth from the desk and tossed it onto the waiter’s shoulder, berating him, “How many days have they lived here? Every time you open your mouth, you talk about You Yue this, and You Yue that. Are you guys very close? You can tell at a glance that those people aren’t simple. If you have the time to worry about them, you might as well work harder! Have the rooms been cleaned? Have the courtyards been swept? Have the tables been wiped clean? If not, then you’d better go!”

The waiter took the cloth off his shoulder and retreated slowly, “This inn hasn’t had any customers in months. What’s there to clean? You just sleep here all day, but you sure know how to criticise my hard work! I could be cultivating!”

“If you keep on mumbling, I’ll toss you back to the mountains!” The shopkeeper threatened.

The moment the waiter heard that he wanted to toss him back, he immediately changed his expression, took his cloth and went to wipe the nearest table, chuckling as he said, “Oh shopkeeper, look how hardworking I am. How could you bear to toss me back!”

“I don’t know about diligence, but I definitely realise that you’re lazy with a lot to say. If you don’t work harder and keep chatting blindly, just get the hell back!” After the shopkeeper finished speaking, he closed his eyes and continued to sleep.

The waiter heaved a sigh of relief. To follow him was something that so many in the sect dreamed of doing. It had been very difficult for him to get him to agree, so how could he let himself get chased back.

However, he really did like that group. If they died just like that, what a waste it would be!

Sigh, he hoped that the shopkeeper was right and that they were very powerful.

Sima You Yue followed them out of the small town and headed towards the back of the mountains.

“The Hidden Sect is huge, and every division has their own area of influence, like the edge of the mountain peaks. Every division has their own peak and their area includes the mountains that are linked with it. Our Music Division is relatively small, and can’t be compared to the others, so it’s further away.” The person at the front was rather warm on the journey there as he introduced the place to them. He even told them about the various segregated divisions that were as the sects outside.

They followed these people and journeyed for half a day. It got more and more desolate, and finally left the lively mountain ranges and came to an overgrown plot of land.

“The Music Division is doing so badly!” Fu Xi clicked his tongue when he saw the barren mountain, “You guys are too embarrassing, to be dragged to this state.”

“Every sect is powerful, this is just because strength speaks.” The person explained with a smile, “Sect Master, Little Martial Uncle and the others are in the main peak. We cannot go there so casually. Once you go up, there will be someone to come and receive you.”

Sima You Yue and the others entered without hesitation. After walking a few steps, they felt a weak force and ended up entering a barrier.

“Hahaha- these people were so easy to fool! Those people even told us to be careful.” Those people burst into laughter, “Those people exaggerated too much!”

“Exactly, now that they’ve entered the Great Desert Mountain, they’ll never be able to leave! The underworld beasts in there will take good care of them!”

“Underworld beasts? Are you guys from the Beast Tamer Division?” Sima You Yue asked.

“You know that we’re from the Beast Tamer Division?”

“I knew from the moment you came.” Sima You Yue said, “It’s just that I was bored outside and wanted to see what you were up to. I didn’t think that it was just some pointless game!”

“Pointless game? Do you know what kind of place the Great Desert Mountain is? It’s a forbidden area in our Hidden Sect. The previous generation left a barrier here. As long as you enter it, you have no choice but to wait in there and die as long as you do not have the secret arts of our Beast Tamer Division! There are piles of Divine Beasts and Sacred Beasts in there. You can just wait to die!”

“You’re saying that we can’t leave this barrier?” Sima You Yue said as she walked out of the barrier.
