Infinite Range: The Sniper Mage
Chapter 580 - 580: 580: Within Orgod's Title Effect“Whoa!! Goblin tech is so outdated! The God of Wagha will bless the young ones!”
The Goblin Grand Marshal howled to the sky, though no one besides goblins had any clue what he was actually yelling about.
“The Boss of Bosses shows his might!”
“Fight—awesome! Fighting drives me crazy! Fight! Waaah!”
A strange red energy wave burst from the Goblin Grand Marshal’s mouth, spreading across Forever City and far beyond. Tens of thousands of goblins echoed his cries.
The red wave instantly infused every goblin and goblin creation on the battlefield.
“I need more intense, more bloody, more brutal war!” Nightshade cackled wildly atop the city wall.
King’s Authority!
Goblin Demolition Master activated!
Goblin technology upgraded!
“Holy crap! My goblin grenade… it’s the size of a watermelon now!”
Players aboard goblin airships gasped as the once fist-sized magical grenades, coated in red light, expanded massively, glowing ominously.
Boom!
Goblin Shock Bomb -100,000!
Paralysis 5 seconds!
Paralysis 5 seconds!
…
The players launching the bombs were left dumbfounded as the magical grenades’ power quadrupled, leaving massive craters while paralyzing groups of enemies.
“Am I… firing a cannon? This feels bizarre.”
Dancing Giant Boobs stood with her all-girl squad on the walls, each equipped with magic sniper rifles. But the weaponry had morphed into something completely absurd.
The once sleek one-meter-long rifles had transformed into full-on cannons, complete with cockpits and oversized scopes.
“Alright girls, open fire!” she ordered, her hair flowing wildly as she unleashed a rain of cannon blasts onto the imperial NPC forces below.
Critical hit -30,000!
Critical hit -40,000!
…
Each blast left her stunned as groups of Imperial knights were flung into the air, their formation shattered. The firepower and blast radius had evolved into something monstrous.
“Five-Star Magic Energy Command Ship? Twelve magical cannons… and it can fly?”
Inside the command tank, Iron Cavalry was speechless. A former racing junkie, he had somehow become the captain of what now resembled a flying battleship, armed with twelve massive guns mounted in a 4x4x4 configuration.
Magical tanks, armored vehicles, and even airborne goblin airships underwent bizarre, mind-bending transformations.
“Am I hallucinating from staying up too long?” SirLagsALot muttered during the live broadcast, glancing nervously at his fellow commentators.
“I… think we’re seeing this correctly. Though I am starting to question my entire Infinite Dimensions existence,” the female commentator replied, wiping sweat from her brow.
No one could believe that in this world of swords and sorcery, Godslayer Guild had managed to pull off something so absurd.
“Waaaah… a gift from the God of Wagha!”
Across every holographic screen, under the King’s Authority Goblin Demolition Master, the goblins were fully armed to the teeth, abandoning their former scavenger image and morphing into magic-masked, camo-armored goblin special forces.
Clearly, this was the Goblin Grand Marshal’s true trump card—technological goblin warfare!
Although temporary, this transformation gave Nightshade brand new ideas for future goblin creations.
“Forbidden Curse: Divine Dragon Seal—30 seconds remaining!”
A chilling system notification echoed above the battlefield.
“Damn it! Recall the Imperial Dragon Knights! Break through the city!”
Sensing the looming threat, the Imperial Marshal quickly ordered the elite Imperial Dragon Knights back from their assault on the Imperial fleet and Celestial Fortress.
Over eighty high-level dragons broke through the defensive barrage and charged toward Forever City at breakneck speed.
“Hold them off!”
Madman gasped as he saw the dragons racing in. He hadn’t expected the Imperial Marshal to abandon the fleet and risk everything to stop Orson.
Without the Dragon Knights, the Imperial fleet would soon be picked apart one ship at a time by the two divine warships.
“Golden Dawn!”
Quarla roared, unleashing an S-class Dragon Curse spell that forced back three Purple-Gold Dragon Riders. Just as she tried to pull back, more dragons swarmed in from every angle.
“Damn it all! So many Dragon Knights!”
Madman clung to Quarla’s horn, barely dodging streams of dragon breath from all directions.
Elsewhere, Demon Emperor, ShatteredCrown, and other guild leaders faced similar threats.
These were no ordinary Dragon Knights—each was a Saint Lord-class veteran with exceptional combat prowess and experience, far superior to their average peers.
“Fall back toward Orgod’s title effect radius!” Madman barked.
Demon Emperor nodded, leading the Slaughter Guild’s four remaining Dragon Riders into full retreat.
About thirty Dragon Rider players broke from combat and sped back toward Forever City.
“Break the city! Whoever slays the Usurper will be heavily rewarded!”
The Imperial Dragon Knight regiment charged forward on foot, led by a Saint Lord-class Dragon Knight aiming directly at the weakest section of Forever City’s defenses.
The dragons, unable to fly here, charged across the ground like giant bulldozers, trampling thousands of allied players and NPCs underfoot, creating a horrifying wave of carnage.
“How much longer is that bastard gonna drag this out?!”
Madman cursed under his breath. “Did you not hear the countdown? Sixty seconds! Hold!”
“You guys go ahead—I’ll hold them here.”
Drunken Dream, riding his silver dragon Denoka, landed in front of the city wall, preparing to sacrifice his dragon to halt the Imperial charge.
Silver Dragon Knights were known for their strong shields, healing skills, and extreme durability. Even with divine artifacts, Drunken Dream knew Denoka would eventually fall.
Empress of the Moon joined him on her Flame Dragon. “High and mighty Silver Dragon Knight, you think you’re the only one allowed to play hero?”
Drunken Dream gave her a soft smile. They shared a mutual respect as noble knights of Infinite Dimensions.
Next came Bulletproof World, narrowing his eyes at Drunken Dream. “Flirting, huh? If one of my dragons dies, so be it. I’m staying.”
Demon Emperor also silently joined them, riding his dragon alongside the others.
Defeat by Bradley had stung his pride; he would not let Godslayer claim all the glory without showing his own worth.
Their dragons may have been precious, but these guild leaders weren’t here just for loot—they had reputations to uphold.
They were proud, defiant rulers of their respective domains. No way would they let Godslayer hog the spotlight unchallenged.
“Goddamn lunatics.” Madman rubbed his temples. “Am I the only sane one here?”
Quarla grunted approvingly. “Good, at least my disciple values survival.”
But despite his grumbling, as Godslayer’s vice president, Madman couldn’t simply walk away. He braced himself at the front lines—face-saving mattered too much.
Facing the terrifying stampede of Dragon Knights, they all steadied their breaths, ready to fight to the bitter end.
“Stow your dragons. Fight with me.”
Suddenly, a proud voice rang out from above the city.
Everyone turned—and froze.
