Chapter 3731: Crucible III

Existential Source Trials.

One of the three sacred paths Noah could use to raise Complexity and Purity, and the one most entities clung to.

It was the classic Mechanic of Ascension: the Existential Source Trials. The other was Source Devouring Evolution, with its twin branches, Complexity Devouring and Purity Devouring.

But Noah had forged a third path entirely related to Dual Cultivation.

One he had developed alongside the Great Beyonder, weaving it from the remnants of old truths and impossible dreams.

What he planned now would lean heavily on the first method, with a taste of the second.

"The Infiniverse Crucible Raids?"

The Great Beyonder arched a brow, curiosity lighting her eyes. She was asking about the very method that would thrust multiple Harmonized Sourcebound Icons and two Resplendent Monads into the rank of Primarchs, within mere weeks.

Noah simply nodded. He stood from the branch of the Yggdrasil Mana Tree, the rivers of radiant mana flowing around him, curling in currents of emerald and sapphire light. He glided through them, stopping at a fixed point before extending his hand.

Space split.

A colorless portal brimming with Quintessence bloomed into existence, dazzling, vibrant, radiating a complexity that defied reason.

Noah's voice echoed through the silence.

"You now stand within a new Wheel of Existence. Before the First Breaking of the Wheel, our native one was already brimming with True Frequencies of Existence. It housed Resplendent Monads. A Primarch. All due to the presence of extraordinarily Pure and Complex True Sources, capable of rivaling, even surpassing, a Primarch."

His words hung in the air like scripture.

"You're standing in one of those Wheels now."

…!

The gathered Legends exchanged wary glances. Hope. Dread. Awe.

"Let me show you," Noah whispered, gesturing to the portal. "This leads to the Infiniverse Crucible."

He smiled. The kind of smile that meant danger and promise all at once.

The Great Beyonder was the first to step forward. Her obsidian gown shimmered, jeweled with thousands of runes that pulsed with golden obsidian light. She vanished like a streak of living brilliance.

The others followed, one by one. The Holder of the True Source of Asche hesitated only to glance at the distant silhouettes of Ruination and the Infiniverse Body, silent watchers in the shape of wonders, before stepping through.

Only then did the two entities follow, slipping into the breach like shadows fading into dawn.

And what waited beyond…

It was not just a battlefield.

It was a realm of roaring wonder. Of endless death and rebirth.

A place alive with color and pressure and power.

The Infiniverse Crucible.

Green. Purple. Blue.

They gleamed with terrifying brilliance, forming the sacred trinity of Frequencies- Continuity, Entropy, and Manadynamics.

The sky was a canvas of madness.

Above, the shards and fragments of the True Frequency of Entropy shimmered in deep, regal violet, tendrils snaking like vipers through the void, unraveling permanence with every flicker.

Beneath that, green veins of the True Frequency of Continuity surged through the terrain and skies, holding together the fabric of existence with unshakable grace.

Endless. Unbreakable. Constant.

And woven through it all was the True Frequency of Manadynamics, an endless, electric ocean of shimmering blue. It surged through stones, stars, even breath itself.

At the heart of it all pulsed a massive infinity symbol, buzzing with green, purple, and blue light. Above it, a Forge mountain rose like a wondrous monument, overflowing with radiant loot-light.

That… was just the sky.

The ground was no less intense.

Infiniverse Megalos Mountains clawed up from the abyss like time-worn titans by the hundreds, wrapped in storms of memory and myth. Shattered Omniverses drifted among them by the thousands, corpses of creation bleeding violet energy that screamed like dying titans.

In their remains spun trillions of worlds, rich with mana, each gleaming cerulean-bright with danger and possibility.

And between it all, fields of Matter, Anti-Matter, and Dark Matter surged in luminous green storms, storms birthed by Continuity itself.

The entire domain pulsed.

Pressed down.

Challenged.

The very weight of this place demanded proof of one's right to exist. Every breath. Every step.

Even the strongest among them, Nascent Source-Bearers, Harmonized Sourcebound Icons, Resplendent Monads, found themselves stifled.

Crushed.

Humbled.

And still, the Crucible whispered...

Prove yourself. Or die.

HUUM!

Noah arrived in the center of it all, storms curling around him like reverence. He turned to face the others, to face the Omnifather.

"This is the Infiniverse Crucible," Noah said, his voice soft but carrying. "Within it lie some of the purest and most complex True Sources of Continuity, Entropy, and Manadynamics. Soon, others will descend. This...is where Primarchs will be born."

…!

A declaration. A truth.

And the Omnifather, wrapped in the grandeur of Versality, narrowed his eyes and asked, careful and cold.

"…How?"

A single word.

But it carried the weight of wonders!

Noah's eyes gleamed gold. A wheel spun upon his chest. His form flickered.

How indeed!

In the next moment, he was above the Omnifather.

His hand swung down like a starbound hammer, releasing a blow laced with such devastating Complexity that even a Resplendent Monad would hesitate to face it.

He did it to a wounded, weakened Icon.

…!

BOOM!

The Omnifather didn't even have time to scream.

The blast of Ember Eternum, a Transient Paradoxical Living True Source, ripped through him.

Every possible revival.

Every lingering memory.

Every hidden thread of survival.

Gone.

His True Source shattered.

His existence, erased.

True Death!

Unmistakable. Unforgivable.

Unfathomable.

A silence swept the Crucible.

Noah lowered his hand like nothing had happened.

"…"

No one spoke.

But every Legend present felt it.

Felt their True Sources tremble.

Because there had been no trick.

The Omnifather, truly, was dead.

Their gazes sharpened, growing with anger. Hardened. Questioned!

Why?

Why would he do this now? Why this?

"Why?" someone finally whispered.

Ash swirled around the Holder of Asche's True Source. He looked lost in his own thoughts!

Only one being didn't speak.

The Great Beyonder.

After her initial shock, she stood quietly.

Watching.

Because she knew something the others didn't.

Noah never acted without purpose.

So what connection did the death of the Omnifather have to their path toward becoming Primarchs?

She didn't know yet.

But she would find out soon!
