Immortality Martial Arts: I Started with the Five Animals Health Fist

Chapter 439: Innate Monster Martial! Fists like an Angry Sea! (2)

The long-haired man licked his lips, his eyes filled with greed and desire for flesh, as he sneered like a wild beast, “Have you ever seen a hunter easily let go of his prey? An Innate Martial Artist… Such a nourishing treat!”

Li Hongwu took a deep breath and decisively said to a martial artist in green, “Kaijun, take the others and both the Mountain Master and Mr. Su and leave!”

The martial artist in green was shocked at the words, but seeing Li Hongwu’s stern gaze, he could only bite down hard and nod vigorously, “Yes, Master!”

“Oh? Your elder brother along with you and your disciples jointly attacked me and were forced to flee in a pathetic state. Now you think you alone can stop me? It’s like a mantis trying to stop a chariot, overestimating one’s own ability!”

The long-haired man chuckled heh heh, seemingly unconcerned, his eyes revealing a sense of ease, as if he were a cat playing with a mouse.

“Go!”

The martial artist in green led the other thirty-plus disciples of Famous Sword Mountain slowly retreating, the long-haired man didn’t stop them, as he too wanted to save some energy. It would be easier to divide and conquer, to kill Li Hongwu first and then chase the others!

In a short while, the desolate mountain was empty, and the disciples of Famous Sword Mountain, carrying the severely injured Li Hongyi, hurriedly departed, leaving only the long-haired man and Li Hongwu confronting each other.

Li Hongwu’s eyes were full of seriousness, fully aware of the long-haired man’s terror; the man was not human at all!

Previously, Li Hongwu and Li Hongyi led the elite of their sect on an expedition to look for Innate Qi, hoping to add one or two more Innate Martial Artists to their sect.

But on the way out, they encountered an attack by this long-haired man, who killed nearly ten of their elite disciples on the spot. Only by joining forces did Li Hongwu and Li Hongyi manage to cause him consecutive heavy injuries, allowing them a temporary retreat.

And because of this, Li Hongyi also suffered severe injuries, prompting Li Hongwu to seek out Old Man Qishi in Zhongling Mountain in the hopes of saving his elder brother’s life. But the long-haired man caught up so quickly again, refusing to give up!

Li Hongwu, even when joining forces with Li Hongyi and dozens of elite disciples, was still unable to get the better of the opponent, let alone now, alone, with hardly any chance of winning.

But as the Deputy Mountain Lord of Famous Sword Mountain, Li Hongwu had no choice but to stand out and hope to hold off the opponent, giving the others a chance to escape with his elder brother.

The long-haired man didn’t delay. He wanted to quickly kill Li Hongwu and then go after the severely wounded Li Hongyi – both Innate Martial Artists were his targets.

“Remember, the one who kills you is me, Shan Weizhao!”

The long-haired man coldly announced his name, then made his move in an instant!

“Whoosh!”

Shan Weizhao, like shedding his shell, left an afterimage in his original place that hadn’t yet dissipated, while his body had already rushed towards Li Hongwu. His palm transformed into a claw, aiming for Li Hongwu’s chest.

“Famous Sword Jue, A Stirring Thunderclap!”

Knowing the fearsome power of Shan Weizhao, Li Hongwu dared not be careless. The treasured sword at his waist flashed with cold light as he unsheathed it, its bright tip shining with icy brilliance—like a shooting star piercing through the night, dazzling onlookers, a thunderclap that resounded loudly!

“Thud!”

With the advantage of Longsword’s range, Li Hongwu’s attack was farther than Shan Weizhao’s. The thrust hit Shan Weizhao squarely in his chest, making his advancing body falter momentarily. Surprisingly, however, the sword that could pierce metal did not penetrate his chest but was met with a dull thud, as if stopped by an invisible armor.

It was as though Shan Weizhao was shrouded in an impenetrable layer of invisible armor.

Shan Weizhao took Li Hongwu’s sword strike without a scratch, and the sound of ‘crack crack’ echoed as his arm suddenly stretched out a foot longer, his fingers clawing towards Li Hongwu’s face, attempting to gouge out both of his eyes. Ꞧà₦ỐBÈṦ

Li Hongwu quickly retreated, the wind from the fingers grazing his cheek painfully.

“Kill!”

Li Hongwu roared, as an illusory image of the Human Flower in azure bloomed atop his head. Two crystal-clear Heavenly Pulse phantoms appeared on his body, connecting heaven and earth, his body enveloped in overflowing Sword Qi.

Li Hongwu wielded his Longsword with exquisite Swordsmanship, commanding Sword Qi across a several meters radius.

“Clang clang clang!”

Shan Weizhao, however, countered with his bare hands, each clash resonating like metal striking metal!

The two were evenly matched, exchanging dozens of moves.

But clearly, Li Hongwu struggled more; he was unable to inflict fatal wounds on Shan Weizhao with each sword strike, hardly even tearing the latter’s skin. Yet if Shan Weizhao’s strikes hit him, he would be gravely injured.

Shan Weizhao, relying on his body that was even more formidable than a heavy-weight practitioner, was all offense and no defense, progressively forcing Li Hongwu into a retreat.

“This Li Hongwu is much weaker compared to his elder brother. After all, he only has two Heavenly Pulses opened. I’d better finish him quickly and then go kill his elder brother!”

Shan Weizhao found the duel somewhat dull. The Mountain Master of Famous Sword Mountain was Li Hongyi, who was very powerful. In the previous encounter, it took serious injuries to drive him away, while his younger brother Li Hongwu was far less capable.

“Does Deputy Mountain Lord Li need my help?”

At that moment, a voice sounded from not far away.

This caused Shan Weizhao to frown slightly, retreating cautiously, temporarily ceasing his pursuit.

As for Li Hongwu, he was also somewhat surprised as he looked towards the black-clothed youth who emerged from the entrance of the mountain village, it was Su Changkong!

“Elder Su, why haven’t you left?” Li Hongwu asked hastily, wasn’t he supposed to have led the Famous Sword Mountain’s disciples to take Elder Su and the severely injured Li Hongyi away?

“Such prey, does the Deputy Mountain Lord wish to monopolize?”

Su Changkong’s eyes blazed as he stared at Shan Weizhao, the long-haired man.

The reason Su Changkong hadn’t left was simple; he had just felt that Shan Weizhao’s aura was very familiar, similar to the two Monster Men from the Monster Martial Alliance, Mo Ying and the man in red he had seen before.
