Chapter 435: Healing Pill

Wang Hong noticed the deep concern in Wang Yi's eyes, clearly worried about his Master. It seemed that their relationship with his Master, who also happened to be Wang Yi's father-in-law, was quite close.

"I have a Jade Marrow Pill here that can heal all external injuries for Golden Core stage cultivators. Take it and use it for your Master," Wang Hong said.

"But... do you have enough for yourself?" Wang Yi hesitated when Wang Hong handed him the Jade Marrow Pill.

Wang Yi understood the esteemed status of the Jade Marrow Pill in the Cultivation World. It was a sacred medicine for healing that many Golden Core cultivators could only dream of obtaining. If he took it now, what if Wang Hong got injured later? Would he indirectly harm his brother?

"Don't worry! I'm not the type to engage in fierce battles recklessly. I usually try to resolve conflicts through diplomacy, reason, and ethical persuasion. It's been ten years, and I haven't been injured once," Wang Hong assured him.

"Go save your Master, and I still have some spare healing pills in my possession," Wang Hong added, waving his hand, urging Wang Yi to hurry.

Wang Yi rushed towards a nearby Flying Boat where his Master was, critically injured. Without this pill, his Master might not last much longer.

Inside the Flying Boat, Feng Ji's complexion was ashen, and his eyes had lost their luster. He held Feng Ai's hand tightly, imparting some final instructions.

"Ai'er, after I'm gone, stay with Wang Yi. I can see that he truly cares for you. Besides, given his age and aptitude, there's a good chance he'll achieve the Nascent Soul stage in the future."

Feng Ai was now in tears, "Father, don't scare me! You'll be fine!"

Just then, Wang Yi entered the Flying Boat, holding a sparkling jade-like pill. He said, "Master, don't worry. Your disciple promises you won't die."

With determination, he placed the pill into Feng Ji's mouth.

As the pill entered his abdomen, it transformed into a stream of energy, rising within him and coursing throughout his body. With each pass, it began to mend the injuries it encountered.

Feng Ji could feel his body gradually recovering, dispelling the imminent threat to his life. He relaxed, focusing on assimilating the medicinal power and guiding it to mend his injuries.

Several hours later, Feng Ji's injuries stabilized, and his life was no longer in jeopardy.

However, originally gravely wounded and on the verge of death, the fact that Feng Ji had been saved from the brink of death did not go unnoticed by others. This naturally garnered a lot of attention, especially considering they had just experienced a desperate breakout battle, resulting in numerous severely injured individuals. There were too many heavily injured people, and only a very small fraction of them could receive effective treatment.

After all, their numbers were substantial, and the resources for such treatments had been depleted during the prolonged battles. The news of Feng Ji's miraculous recovery piqued the interest of many, and in a world where secrets seldom stayed hidden, some soon began connecting the dots to Wang Hong.

At that moment, Wang Hong was with Wang Yi, setting up a campfire in an open space where a plump demon sheep was being roasted.

"Hurry up! Sprinkle that seasoning on it! Make sure it's evenly spread!" Wang Hong adjusted the flames below while flipping the entire roasted sheep. He kept directing Wang Yi to assist him.

"You're a Golden Core expert, and you don't even know how to barbecue?" Wang Hong joked.

"I'm a sword cultivator, not a barbecue master," Wang Yi quipped in response.

Feng Ai stood nearby, watching with a smile. She rarely saw this carefree and lively side of Wang Yi. These few days had revealed a different facet of him compared to his usual serious and reserved demeanor, likely stemming from his lonely childhood when he entered the sect alone. ŖаNỔВĘʂ

Just then, a middle-aged Golden Core cultivator approached them. Feng Ai quickly bowed in greeting.

"Feng Ai greets Sect Master Han!"

Sect Master Han had recently taken office as the new sect leader. The former leader had formed a ten-person Golden Core formation during the breakout battle, defending the rear and successfully blocking two fourth-tier Demonic Beasts. However, the former leader had ultimately perished.

"Haha! No need to be so formal, young Feng Ai. I just came for a visit," Sect Master Han said with a warm smile.

"Welcome, Sect Master Han! Would you like some roasted lamb leg?" Wang Yi asked with a smile. He was now a Golden Core cultivator himself and had no reason to fear Sect Master Han, so he spoke more casually.

"Junior Wang Hong pays respects to Senior Han," Wang Hong also greeted and bowed respectfully, as he was still one realm lower than Sect Master Han.

"No need for so much courtesy! I came here with an important matter to discuss," Sect Master Han said as he glanced at Wang Yi and then turned to Wang Hong.

"Wang, I heard you come from Qingxu Sect? How is the situation over there?" Wang Hong proceeded to recount the events of Qingxu Sect's resistance against the Demonic Beasts and their ultimate defeat.

"Ah! I never thought that the East Zhou Cultivation Realm would meet its end at the hands of the Demon Clan," Sect Master Han sighed, feeling powerless. The overall strength of the East Zhou Cultivation Realm was on par with the West Zhou Demon Realm, but this time, they had to face not only the West Zhou Demon Realm but also the formidable East Sea Demon Clan. With its vast territory and countless powerful cultivators, the East Sea Demon Clan surpassed both the East Zhou and West Zhou in terms of overall strength.

"Wang, I've come to you because of a request," Sect Master Han said after taking a moment to collect his thoughts. He had deduced from various clues that the healing pill used to save Feng Ji might be from Wang Hong.

Taihao Sect had a multitude of injured disciples, and without proper healing and treatment, many of them might succumb to their injuries. As the new sect leader, Sect Master Han was deeply concerned but lacked effective solutions.

Now that he had learned that Wang Hong might possess healing pills, he had come here seeking help. If he could acquire even one more healing pill, it could mean saving the life of a Golden Core or Foundation Building disciple.

If it weren't for the fact that Wang Yi was Wang Hong's brother, Sect Master Han might have considered taking the pills by force. However, he didn't want to create hostilities with Wang Yi, a newly promoted Golden Core elder. Therefore, he opted for a more diplomatic approach.

"I do have some healing pills in my possession, and I can offer them to you," Wang Hong responded. He had considered that since these cultivators had already identified him, it might be best to offer some pills for sale. This way, he could also obtain some materials for refining tools and other items.

"Ah! How many do you have?" Sect Master Han's pupils contracted, surprised by the unexpected gain.

"I have three Jade Marrow Pills and one hundred Hanyu Pills," Wang Hong replied.

"Wang, please forgive my ignorance, but what are Hanyu Pills?" Sect Master Han inquired. Despite his extensive knowledge, he had never heard of Hanyu Pills.

"These Hanyu Pills are a type of pill I personally developed. Their healing effects are superior to most second-tier pills," Wang Hong explained.
