I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot
Chapter 1352: 19.11 Second Red Star - Human Race SpyCid Warlock is a human spy and one of the strongest sentinels in the human race. Sentinel Cid worked in the field to keep an eye out for any extraterrestrial cultures that would pose a threat to humanity, in contrast to the Marshal, who remained in the Human Star to defend their territory from intruders. Among their opponents is the Planet Hive insect race.
Ultimately, hundreds of years ago, the former Marshal had murdered the Zerg Emperor and Zerg Empress.
Cid Warlock skirted the guards at the door and crept into the King's Chamber. However, not a single person was present within the palace, not even a female zerg servant who was waiting. It is obvious that King Augustus Kaiser was among the first to mistreat and denigrate female zergs, which is why he was able to obtain information from them with ease.
Even so, once they invaded this planet in order to exterminate the enemy, they would all still die.
He looks around the luxurious place as he walls in the silent hallway, giving him an eerie feeling.
"This place is unexpectedly empty. Here they said that the King's Palace had the most servants and guards. How come it looks desolate?" Sentinel CID mumbles.
He moves in the direction of his destination. The king's chamber is his aim. The largest room is at the end of the hall, and here is the place in the innermost part of the palace where the Zerg King is rumored to sleep.
"Found it." But just as Cid Warlock sneaked inside, a voice came from behind him.
It was Queen Titania's voice, "What are you doing sneaking into the King's Palace, Baron Klein?"
Whoosh!Queen Titania easily parried a back strike delivered by the unprepared Cid Warlock. The pair gazed at one another. While one is composed and attempting to figure out a way out, the other is mocking the other. Titania Ambrosia was staring at the man who was slinking into the king's chamber at this very time with a chilly expression on his face.
Queen Titania squinted her phoenix-shaped eyes with a crazed smile on her face. "Strength that no male zerg possessed. You aren't a bug, aren't you?"
Cid Warlock no longer held back at this question. He needs to get away, but with the female bug in front of him, it is nearly difficult. Queen Titania Ambrosia, the Hive's protector and strongest female zerg, is the one in front. According to what has been reported, he has SS+ potential, yet it is not impossible for him to develop into an SSS potential.
Additionally, female zergs are far more strong than male zergs. For this reason, he would steer clear of female bugs in the hive because of their keen perception.
Cid Warlock and Queen Titania trade blows and kicks, but as time goes on, the human sentinel's physical power appears to be eroding. After all, compared to humans, the insect race possessed a stronger body. Cid Warlock needed to draw a dagger in order to block the Zerg Queen's attack entirely. His dagger and Queen Titania's fist collide with a sound like metal on metal.
The latter's fist appeared to have made contact with the metal dagger even though it was uninjured.
Bang!
Ultimately, he was forced to enter covertly and employ an energy gun as a covert weapon. Queen Titania is accustomed to fighting humans and is aware of their cunning. The energy bullet grazed his left face, but he managed to avoid it just in time. As soon as he was hurt, Queen Titania's smile vanished and he stopped using his might to hold back.
He was withholding his strength because he intended to apprehend this human spy and torture him in order to obtain information. The latter has now drawn a gun, and because of the ruckus, he can only forcefully overpower the human before the monarch emerges.
Bang! Bang!
"What the hell is this noise?" A voice from the King's chamber echoed in the hallway.
Eventually, the other people noticed the sound of the pistol. At last, even the king's chamber door opened. Queen Titania was facing Baron Klein when they saw King Augustus Kaiser emerge from his chamber, some royal guards approaching in groups.
The energy gun in Baron Klein's hand—a weapon exclusive to the human planet—led the royal guards, who were initially perplexed, to understand that someone had surreptitiously entered the Royal Palace with the intention of harming their king.
"Your Highness the Queen! Let us help you catch the intruder!"
"Be careful! This one is strong!" Queen Titania said.
Baron Klein didn't panic while surrounded by countless bugs; instead, his eyes focused on the delicate-looking king leaning in his door's frame, looking at them with a bored look.
King Augustus looked at them with a detached gaze and said, "Can't you guys do it more quietly? You are disturbing my sleep."
The moment Cid Warlock saw the king, he smiled. All he has to do is get rid of this coward. Clearly he had dropped his guard, and this was the perfect time to murder him. With a quick burst of speed, Cid Warlock materialized in front of King Augustus. With the exception of Queen Titania, who thought no one could possibly kill this guy, everyone was in a panic.
A smooth-looking hand pinched the dagger's blade as Cid Warlock was about to stab King Augustus in the heart, stopping all of the force that was being used to stab him.
"Die, Zerg King!"
Cid Warlock, the sentinel, took pride in his strength. If nothing else, his strength prevents him from falling victim to a physical slag of a male zerg. Male zergs are said to have more delicate bodies than female zergs. The piercing eyes and icy smirk of the small-built king greeted him just as he was about to watch the insect zerg stabbed to death by him.
Glancing down, he saw that his dagger was neatly squeezed between two fingers. Regretfully, Cid Warlock's attempt to withdraw his knife from those two slender fingers proved futile. It was difficult for him to take out, as though it were embedded in a rock.
The royal guards were astounded by this sight, as was even Queen Titania. They would never seen a man zerg with this much power. King Augustus's body was actually perfectly cleansed by the pill he had previously taken, save for the fact that the curse prevented his body from growing; his strength is already unmatched by anything on earth.
His vessel is gradually taking on the characteristics of a god.
Cid Warlock crushed his knife into pieces as he studied the frail king before him. He stared at King Augustus Kaiser like a monster, stumbling in shock.
"What the hell are you?! Aren't you not a Male Zerg!? How can you be so powerful!?" Cid Warlock queried in disbelief. Sadly, the Zerg King isn't bored enough to explain himself.
"Instead of being interested in me, why don't you think of a way to escape?" King Augustus said.
Cid Warlock was thinking of escaping, but for some reason he could not move at all. He can only watch as the hand of the zerg king comes near him.
King Augustus said, "Seriously, your scent is awfully mixed."
With a flick of his forehead, he sent Cid Warlock flying in the direction of the palace. At this moment, the Queen and the Royal Guards were in complete disbelief. They had no idea that their handsome monarch would be so strong in spite of his small stature. With that flick, King Augustus held back quite a bit.
Cid Warlock's head would have exploded like a watermelon with that flick if he had not held back.
He commanded the royal guards, "That one won't escape too far. Go tail after him and find the rest from his race. There is no way only one human would sneak in the Hive as a spy," said King Augustus as he looked at Titania Ambrosia. "You can handle the rest. You guys can leave."
Despite her lengthy speech, Queen Titania ultimately decided not to ask the Zerg King any questions and instead gave the royal guards instructions to find out about the plan involving the human spy. After giving him a couple more glances, King Augustus turned to go back to his chamber. System Yue was in his invisible form, floating above him.
My Lord, don't you think that Queen Titania is very similar to Lord Hei. [That thirst fpr battle and murder, his intelligence and sharp observation, plus that decisiveness.]
King Augustus glanced at the Queen for the last time and retorted, 'My Jing'er would hesitate to ask if there is something that confuses him. Yue, that is not my Jing'er.'
At last, he shut the door to his room and went back to his meditation. He departed, leaving System Yue to carry out his wishes. He, however, carries on with his meditation in his bedroom. How many times did he have to move the qi throughout his body in an attempt to lift the curse placed upon him?
He should be able to mature and transform this frail version of himself, so long as the curse inside this body loosens.
---
He turned to face the closed door of the king's chamber after Queen Titania had dispatched the royal guards on their new assignment. Upon reflection of what had transpired moments ago, his demeanor could not help but grow serious. Additionally, he believed that the Augustus Kaiser was limited to using his strong mental faculties to assassinate a small number of nobility throughout his rule.
It was surprising to Queen Titania that King Augustus would conceal such formidable physical prowess. His fingers could shoot humans skyward with a single flick. He also saw that a lot of strength had been held back by such a motion.
Actually, the Zerg Queen did not give King Augustus any thought. It would not change even if he had changed that his pride stemmed from being the strongest member of the hive. All he believed was that King Augustus was mentally strong, and his biggest fear was being assassinated.
In actuality, he did not give a damn whether the reigning monarch was killed. It is just that, save for Marquess Conrad Silver, Augustus Kaiser stands out among the other male zergs. Until all the female zergs were set free from their male lord and protected from mistreatment, he must not pass away just yet.
However, the incident where King Augustus used only his fingertips to effortlessly flip a large man like Baron Klein demonstrated that, despite his small stature and fragile build, the strength concealed in such a feeble body is simply unmatched.
Queen Titania mumbles, "I should also prepare for worse. Even if he is detached from the situation right now, with the unknown future beyond us and that kind of strength, male zergs cannot be trusted."
He leaves with a towering back and graceful gaits. Titania the Queen is pleased with his fortitude and accomplishments. He is the Hive's guardian. He would have fled the Imperial Palace as soon as he opened his eyes following his regression, if it were not for his vow to Augustus to defend their home.
---
Conversely, Cid Warlock had a fractured skull and shattered bones after being thrown from the King's Palace. Had it not been for his status as a high-level Sentinel, he would have instantly perished. Now he is in the back alleyways of the big city. Only a few of his escape routes will allow him to get out of the palace.
It may be claimed that he is now a high-level criminal because it was discovered that he is a human and that he attempted to kill the Zerg King. The only places for the royal guards to flee were the back alleyways and impoverished neighborhoods, as they began to monitor the main thoroughfares in the main city. Cid Warlock desired to go to the Hive's covert meeting spots for the other human spy.
Cid Warlock was supporting his broken arm and returned to the tight alleys the moment he saw the royal guards.
He mumbles while in pain, "They sent a lot of royal guards just to catch one human. I cannot be caught." Cid Warlock was gritting his teeth in anger and worry. He wanted to survive, after all.
Cid Warlock was unaware that Queen Titania had dispatched some of her troops to monitor him covertly. They were skilled enough that not even a very senior guard could detect them. With uninterested eyes, they observed Cid Warlock's attempt to go through the back alleys.
"Secretly follow him. This is General Titania's order."
"Yes, sir!"
