I Hate You, Devil!

Chapter 247 I.X.Us fans

Chapter 247 I.X.U“s fans

Before Yu Chen could respond, his attention was pulled by the bright lights that suddenly shone from the stage. It was finally their babies’ turn to shine.

"I think they’re going to start now." Yu Chen said as his gaze was darting back and forth from his phone to the stage.

"Do you have your light stick?" Xiaolei asked him and his brows knotted.

"Light stick?" he echoed as he looked at Gu Wei and the man seemed to be quite ready. The boy scout Gu Wei had already given all the guards their own light sticks and of course, there’s one for the boss. The guards were obviously embarrassed - except Gu Wei - but the moment Yu Chen held the light stick as well, while looking so damn serious without even getting embarrassed at all, they could only stop complaining and follow his lead.

"Give the phone to your guard. I want to watch how you cheer." Xiaolei grinned mischievously, while Yu Chen just looked at her, a little confused. "I want you to focus your attention to them. I am not there so you will be my representative." She said, still grinning happily and Yu Chen just nodded.

"I will do my best." He replied, looking serious and Xiaolei pressed her lips tight. Way to go my adorable panda!!

As per Xiaolei’s instruction, Yu Chen gave the phone to one of his guards.

The most awaited show finally started. The intro was mysterious. It started with a beautiful voice narrating some meaningful lines while a mystic, chilling, and heartbreaking sound played in the background. It was a breathtaking intro. The viewers, even the other fandoms, felt goosebumps upon hearing it. Everything was so well done that even though the boys didn’t appear yet, the anticipation already skyrocketed to the highest degree.

And then, there was a powerful explosion. The boys appeared on stage like demi-gods who had just been banished from the heavens. The viewers were dumbstruck.

The light sticks began dancing. The crowed was suddenly hyped up. The cheering became so much louder as the boys started to sing and dance. The beat of their song seemed to be pumping energy into the viewers’ veins while listening.

The aesthetic and the entire concept of their performance was absolutely wonderful. Their strong and beautifully synchronized choreography showed the extent of their dancing skill. They were all so good that all of them could even own the title ’main dancer’. Their vocals were also mind-blowing, simply amazing.

As they performed like kings on stage, everyone was captivated by their charisma, immense talent, and of course their visuals that even the other fandoms started cheering for them. They were all just born to be there. One could just tell at that moment that these boys were going to slay the music industry from here on. They definitely outdid themselves with this comeback.

As the performance goes on, the one holding the phone made sure that Xiaolei could see Yu Chen clearly.

Xiaolei kept glancing at Yu Chen and seeing him looking at Gu Wei and mirroring what the man was doing amused Xiaolei to the core. Seeing him waving the light stick, even occasionally chanting the chants Gu Wei just taught him while wearing his usual straight face was making Xiaolei want to just roll on the floor. Her Yu Chen was just so damn too cute for this world.

"Xiaolei... am I doing fine?" she heard him asked, glancing at her.

"Yep, sweetie! You’re the best!" she grinned and she too joined him from chanting.

"Juu, c’mon, join us. Chant too!" she urged Juu and like Yu Chen, the man also did as she said without question and began to move his hands and chanted monotonously with her.

Xiaolei looked at Yu Chen again and she laughed as soon as the video holder stood up and started filming everyone. Xiaolei could now see Yu Chen as he sat in the middle, trying so damn hard to keep up with the loud and energetic Gu Wei who had completely turned into a real fanboy while the rest of the guards weren’t even watching the boys on the stage anymore. Their eyes were focused onto their big boss and their leader while waving their light stick lazily. They were utterly dumbstruck and Xiaolei could already tell that the men couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

When the boys’ performance was about to end, Gu Wei asked everyone to cheer louder. Yu Chen mirrored him although his chant was absolutely monotonous and his expression was so damn serious. But to Xiaolei, it was a sight to behold. Her dearest husband was truly doing his best and he was so damn adorable too.

The show then finally ended with another bang.

The immense energy that I.x.U created slowly died down as everyone tried to take a rest and breathe. It was such an overwhelming experience, especially to all the men in suit sitting at the back.

Yu Chen loosened up his necktie as soon as the lights on the stage turned off. His men also took deep breathes as if they were so damn relieved that its finally over. For some reason, they were sweating like they just went out and fought some thugs.

As they leave the studio, some of the staffs and fans saw these able-bodied men in suits, holding I.x.U’s light sticks, came out and they were dumbfounded.

"OMG! THOSE MEN ARE I.X.U’S FANS!!!"

Their mouths dropped, especially the moment they spotted the godly man in the middle. One of the staff outside was one of Yu Chen’s employees so when she recognized her boss, she just stood there, frozen, not knowing what to do, until they left.

...

Inside the car, Yu Chen continued chatting with his wife.

"Did you enjoy the show?" Xiaolei asked, smiling widely at him.

"Not bad. The boys are good. I believe the people loved their performance." He answered and Xiaolei chuckled.

"How’s the experience?"

"Hmm... not bad. But..."

"But?"

"I don’t think I can do that again."

"Why?"

"It’s loud and I’m not good at it... I mean the cheering."

Xiaolei pressed her lips tight. This man really was so cute. He actually treated the cheering as some serious must-do-task that he didn’t even enjoy or let himself relax during the entire performance. Sigh... this big panda...

"So you’re not going to watch a live show again? Even if I’m the one performing?" she teased, as she pretended to sulk like a child.

"No, if it’s you, I will definitely go and watch and cheer for you!" he quickly declared and Xiaolei chuckled again.
