Chapter 400: Blazing Sun Clan

Chapter 400: Blazing Sun Clan

“So, this is the Folkan Secret Realm’s entrance.” A cultivator muttered, gazing at a majestic gate that was embedded along the sides of a mountain cliff.

The mountain spanned a height of around three kilometres and seemed to be split into two by a sword, creating a gorge in the centre. The width of this gorge spanned two hundred metres, creating a passage for the people to arrive.

And embedded within one side of the cleaved mountain half was a pair of majestic doors, spanning a height of hundred metres. They were massive, as if created for titans.

The reason the people gave the mountain the analogy of being cut in half by a sword was due to how smooth the surface was. As there wasn’t any source of water nearby to erode the surface, the walls shouldn’t have been this smooth.

“If the Secret Realm’s entrance is just a pair of doors, why hasn’t anyone entered it before? We could just break through it, right?” A cultivator muttered.

“This is your first time hearing about this Secret Realm, right?” A knowledgeable senior smirked, stating, “The doors are made using a mysterious material that is capable of repelling our attacks easily. In the past, more than thirty Martial Providence Stage cultivators bombarded attacks on it for three days, failing to even put a scratch on it.”

“It’s this strong?” Someone muttered in shock.

“Legends say that an entire mountain had been compressed to create a single door. So, it’s too tough to be scratched by our attacks.” The knowledgeable senior said.

“Senior, is it true that anyone at Martial Origin Stage and above cannot enter it?” A cultivator asked the knowledgeable senior upon seeing that he was pretty friendly.

“Yep.” The knowledgeable senior nodded, “But, once you enter the Secret Realm and breakthrough to the Martial Origin Stage, you won’t be expelled. You can stay inside until the time limit of three months is up. After that, everyone inside would be teleported outside.”

Guooo!

Suddenly, the roar of a whale resounded as a stream of water flowed through the air, landing atop the cliff as the whale swam through it. Carried on its back were a group of cultivators.

“That’s the Giant Whale Sect Leader and Deputy Sect Leader.” Someone from the crowd exclaimed, “They are indeed strong.”

“Wait, isn’t that…Lady Xuer? The Heaven Martial Spirit genius?”

“That’s her?” One of them gazed at the figure of Xuer standing atop the whale’s back, exclaiming in surprise, “She’s pretty as a pearl.”

“Rumours have it that she alone managed to destroy an entire bandit stronghold.”

“Really? All by herself?”

“Yeah, she killed more than two hundred bandits, causing the remaining to surrender. And three among the bandits were at the Martial Origin Stage.”

Hiss!

“She’s strong.”

Someone from the crowd clicked his tongue, “She probably has all the resources she needs. Why does she need to compete with us peasants?”

“The rich stay rich because they don’t give benefits to the poor.” Another cultivator retorted, “Besides, there are a lot of treasures in the Secret Realm that even the rich would drool over.”

A youth clenched his hand into a fist, muttering, “I’ll be the one to claim them all.”

Scree!

Right after the whale arrived on a stream of water, there was a resounding screech that caused goosebumps to appear on the skins of everyone. A terrifying centipede that spanned twenty metres in length crawled forth, stopping at the edge of the cliff as twenty people descended from its back.

The twenty people casually landed on the ground within the gorge, possessing a baleful aura as the surrounding people retreated instinctively.

“Even the Green Centipede Clan arrived!”

Roar!

Kheee!

Soon after, countless cries resounded as creatures and natural calamities alike arrived at the scene, carrying a bunch of cultivators each. They were the Martial Providence Stage cultivators from every powerful Clan or Sect that had brought their youngsters to profit from this exploration.

Suddenly, the temperature of the entire region increased sharply as the cultivators began to sweat. One of them gazed upwards, shouting in alarm, “T-There are two suns!”

At his shout, everyone gazed upwards, gasping in shock for there were indeed two suns in the sky. As for the second sun, it slowly descended towards the ground, vanishing to reveal a bunch of youngsters.

“That’s the Blazing Sun Clan’s Clan Head…” The Giant Whale Sect Master returned to his human form, frowning as he spoke. Even he felt a bit nervous, for the Blazing Sun Clan was one of the strongest forces in the Gaider Realm.

Throughout history, they were the ones that consistently managed to produce talent with a Heaven Martial Spirit. It could be said that they were pretty much the ruling power of the Gaider Realm.

And under them existed four major Sects, each of which had as much power as the Giant Whale Sect. This wasn’t to mention the power and size of the Blazing Sun Clan, a reigning power that had remained strong for more than two millennia.

And, they produced at least one Heaven Martial Spirit expert every century. That was their terrifying foundation.

The moment they arrived, the gazes of everyone fell on them, watching their every move in nervousness.

As for the powerhouses that had arrived with their respective Clan/Sect’s youngsters, they gazed in nervousness at the red-haired old man that calmly stood with the Blazing Sun Clan’s banner.

He was their Clan Head, one acclaimed as the strongest powerhouse due to the sheer strength he wielded. Moreover, what was surprising was the fact that he was from the previous generation, having explored the Folkan Secret Realm in his younger days.

He was more than a hundred years old but only looked like he was in his late fifties.

“Clan Leader’s cultivation has become unfathomable once again.” The Giant Whale Sect Master approached the Blazing Sun Clan Leader, paying his respects.

“Is that your infamous disciple?” The Blazing Sun Clan Leader gazed at Xuer, smiling in response, “Good, the younger generation should indeed be this talented.”

He then smiled, pointing at a lady standing behind him, “This is my granddaughter, Bunuela. And surprisingly, she has the Fire Crane Martial Spirit. The two of them can spend some time discussing with one another.”

‘A Heaven Martial Spirit?’ Xuer subtly frowned, gazing at the lady’s face, ‘Hmm, she resembles this old man to a certain extent. So, she’s not a System Host.’
