Chapter 452 Both Are the Same
"So, you've noticed the difference?" Warktor smirked, looking at her like what an experienced older person did to the younger generation.
"After I faced him in the Essence Derby Palace, I suddenly began to notice some differences in my memories as compared to how Compass Carburettor behaved." Chenger sighed, massaging her forehead, "And, as I continued to think, I came to recall the name of Shyvern."
"Yep, that's the guy who tormented you many times." Warktor nodded, "Compass Carburettor was in our world for only around six months, nothing more, nothing less."
"I'm surprised you were able to notice the difference." Warktor leaned in, gazing at her face in curiosity, "I was sure you weren't capable of noticing this blatantly obvious difference."
Even though Chenger was offended for being called stupid, she couldn't refute, at least not against Warktor. Considering the other party's intelligence, she was indeed dumb.
"When I clashed with him, it suddenly felt like a veil in my memories came undone." She spoke.
"Interesting." Warktor nodded, "Compass Carburettor's Martial Spirit is indeed veiled in mystery."
He then said, "We'll be having a tough fight up ahead."
"Indeed." Chenger nodded, "I can sense that too."
She then spoke after a moment of silence, "Sir, will our world get salvation?"
"It won't." Warktor stared ahead, saying with a cold tone, "Our world is a Mental Energy farm, one that repeats itself every twenty years. The Coincidental Luck System already knows a lot of things that happen in our world from the start. So, it's able to harvest plenty of Mental Energy."
"And, even if we do something to make it give up on our world, it would never give up Rhizen. You've heard the way in which every System talked about Rhizen, right?" Warktor said in all seriousness, "Honestly, he's more of a treasure than our looping world to the Luck based Systems."
"That's why the Coincidental Luck System ensured to kill him to prevent any other System from stealing him." He spoke.
Chenger gritted her teeth while hearing him speak, helpless, but she had no other choice. She was aware that this was bound to continue.
But, this was also why she had to kill Compass Carburettor. Because, at least by killing him, things will return to normal…
"Once we kill him, let's kill everyone else," Chenger said.
"Good, you're starting to think long term." Warktor smiled, "With the other Luck based Systems killed, a majority of external troubles to our world would vanish. And as long as we push the Coincidental Luck System into Grade 2, we'll all be supported by it."
"When it becomes a Grade 2 System, our world would become more bearable to live in, even if it has to loop. At least, we and our loved ones would have an easier time with its support." Warktor smiled, "And, I'll ensure that the Coincidental Luck System supports us."
"Thank you, Sir." Chenger said as she saw the figure of the island along the horizon, "We're arriving at our destination."
"You'll be facing Compass Carburettor, and possibly Grisha too." Warktor said, "Will you be able to handle them?"
"I have no other choice." Chenger replied, reassuring him, "Don't worry, I'm not rash."
"You're one of the best fighters our world has to offer, that much is sure. But," Warktor expressed his worry, "Compass Carburettor isn't a fighter. He's more of a strategist. He won't be clashing with you head-on."
"You'll be facing his companions." Chenger said, "Please kill them first before joining me in the fight against Compass Carburettor."
"It might take time." Warktor said, "I have the confidence to kill them, but it won't be easy, especially since Grisha might interfere. There's also Bunuela. She isn't that lucky when compared to Xuer and Ranze, but her fate is sizeable."
"What does this fate even imply?" Chenger asked.
"It's the weight they have on the world." Warktor said, noticing her confusion as he explained, "Think of everyone like gears of a machine. If they vanish, the machine may stop functioning properly. The Gaider Realm is a massive machine with all the living beings in it the gears running it."
"But, a world wouldn't stop with the death of an individual, right?" Chenger retorted, "That seems absurd."
"You're right, the death of a person wouldn't signify the world's end." Warktor nodded, "But, you can think of it like the world would be running at a lower efficiency with Bunuela's death, the same for Xuer too. And if Ranze dies, the drop in efficiency is massive."
"So, the world itself might try a little to save its most vital gears. Ranze is one of them." He continued, stopping the explanation soon after, "Well, none of that is important now. Be attentive to every action Compass Carburettor does, alright?"
"It would be like playing chess. Each of his moves might have subtle implications that might result in his victory in the end." He spoke.
"How am I supposed to know that?" Chenger groaned, "I'm not Rhizen or Straxia. I can't deal with mind play."
"You don't need to." Warktor said solemnly, "Just pummel through him so fast that his plans don't have enough time to fruition. If you delay, you'll fall prey to his pace and end up getting killed."
"Besides, your luck is by far the strongest out of everyone in the Gaider Realm." Warktor said, "So, just bulldoze your way through. Even if your luck takes a hit, don't bother with it, since it recovers too damn fast."
After all, her System was the Destiny Luck System that had also devoured the Protagonist Luck System and a couple others. So, unless she was destined to die there, she would be invincible.
"So, I just have to mow through things directly, no schemes." Chenger nodded, clenching her hand into a fist.
"Yes, don't think for a fact that your schemes would work on him. Don't try to fight his strength with your weakness." Warktor jumped from the boat, landing on the shores of the island as he rushed into the island immediately, "Fight his weakness with your strength."
"And, both are the same!"
