Chapter 342: Sell Me

Mimi and Zeno were the only two left on the battlefield.

The dragon was marching down the bottom lane. Their final turret stood like a dying candle. It looked pathetic, really.

The rest of the team was still on cooldown. Jace had at least twenty seconds left. Sangwon and Hyunbin weren’t even speaking, already thinking about going home. .

Zeno, however, appeared more serious than usual.

While Mimi scrambled to defend from the incoming flunkeys, Zeno quietly opened his inventory.

And then—

Click. Click. Click.

“What is he doing?” Crabby’s voice rang out from the commentator booth. “Did—Did he just sell his items?!”

The livestream chat exploded instantly.

– IS HE GIVING UP???

– Nooo don’t sell the items!!

– Maybe he’s rage quitting??

– Zeno, what are you doing, bro?

– He even sold his boots.

Real-Faker narrowed his eyes. “Wait a second… those are unusual items. I might be wrong. You said he’s only been playing for a week. I think he’s changing his build.”

– Wait, those aren’t Lacta items

– Why is he building like that

– WHO TRAUMATIZED THIS MAN

– Those are assassin items, Zeno! Put them back on the shelf.

Zeno’s cursor darted rapidly across the map. He blinked once. Twice. Something inside him clicked.

It was strange. The mouse in his hand felt familiar. The quick tapping of the keys suddenly felt more natural than before.

It felt like he had been a pro gamer in the past, with how he was moving. Well, it was thanks to the skill integration that he could do this!

He pressed a hotkey and activated Lacta’s ultimate. A pool of milk spilled beneath the incoming flunkeys, halting their movement. Mimi used her second skill to trap them further.

A few more hits and the dragon collapsed.

“They slayed it! Wait—what?!” Knots shouted. “Why was that so fast?

“WHAT?!” Crabby squealed.

– WHOA

– That was the fastest dragon slay I’ve ever seen.

– He looked like a jungler just now.

– He sold his items for this?

In the UnFazed booth, the team froze.

“Do we go back?” one of them asked.

“No,” Faze snapped. “Push. They’re stalling. We end this now.”

The flunkeys were still massive. The Nexus was half health. It was still an easy win… on paper.

But in the game—Zeno had awakened.

He dashed through the lanes, calculating distances perfectly as he last hit the flunkeys, gaining gold at every second. Mimi followed behind him, eyes wide, trying to keep up. It felt like she was playing with an entirely different person.

Zeno’s new items didn’t boost his milk power. They boosted speed, cooldown, and skill precision.

UnFazed’s marksman overextended, trying to kill him for once and get to the Nexus.

POW.

A flash. A rapid-fire basic attack paired with Lacta’s second skill.

“Killed,” Real-Faker muttered, blinking. “Zeno just soloed UnFazed’s marksman.”

– WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTT

– HOW DID THAT HAPPEN

– That looked like a highlight reel

– Zeno’s EYES. HIS EYES.

– Can we have a replay, please?

– I don’t think they can afford a replay right now. Everything’s moving too fast!

UnFazed’s tank backed up, pinging retreat, but Faze was already charging forward.

“Just finish it!” Faze yelled. “We can take him! The other two are dead again.”

Zeno dove under their singular tower range, targeted the mage behind their tank, and timed it perfectly—his special skill, the pool of milk, activated just before a second-skill escape.

Another kill.

“Two?!” Crabby stood up from his chair.

– HES POSSESSED

– WHERE DID THIS GAMING GOD COME FROM

– THAT WASN’T LACTA LYNX. THAT WAS A DEMON CAT.

“Faze, careful!” someone shouted through their team mic, but Faze was already too far in.

Zeno’s health was almost gone. One skill—just one—would’ve finished him.

And then Faze overreached.

Just one step too far into enemy territory.

The Nexus defense activated.

The screen flashed red.

Faze was slain.

“What?” Crabby blinked.

“WHAT?” Knots echoed.

Even the UnFazed booth was silent.

Phoenix, standing with a drink in his hand backstage, dropped it. Soda fizzed and spilled on the floor. “What is happening?” he exclaimed to the three remaining actors in the room, who were watching the game with wide eyes.

“DUDE, WHAT IS HAPPENING?!” Jace shouted, practically standing from his seat.

They had just respawned—but somehow, the energy had completely changed.

Zeno leaned forward, eyes gleaming under the glow of his monitor.

“Take different routes,” he said.

The livestream cut to a multi-cam view.

Zeno’s screen flashed across the display, and suddenly, the whole nation was watching him not as a joke… but as the leader of Lacta.

– Wait, what?

– Is he commanding now?

– Why is that so hot

– Bro’s a Kdrama main character in real life.

In the VIP seats, Minji and Eli froze. Eli had been mid-sip of his drink when he turned slowly toward Minji.

She was already staring at him.

“You’re seeing this, right?” she whispered.

He nodded.

Even the backstage room where Phoenix stood had gone quiet. Risa’s mouth was slightly open. “This… this is insane…”

“… and hot.”

Before anyone could react, a flash of movement happened. In the jungle. One by one, all of the UnFazed players were eliminated.

Zeno ganked them—flanked behind the enemy, predicted their movements, and picked them off with precision. His combos were fast. Deadly. And for someone with low gold, he fought like he was five levels above.

“They’re wiped out!” Crabby shrieked. “Lacta’s team just turned it around!”

“Take the new Dragon,” Zeno said in team chat.

No one argued.

Mimi followed. Jace followed. Even Hyunbin and Sangwon—who had been practically AFK this entire time—moved like soldiers behind their general.

With the new dragon slain, their flunkeys began to change. They grew in size and damage, same as before, but this time, Lacta had control.

The game passed the thirty-minute mark.

And suddenly… the gold was almost even.

“How are they still alive?” Real-Faker muttered, leaning closer to his mic. “This should’ve been over ten minutes ago.”

On the battlefield, the air became hotter.

Faze slammed a key on his keyboard. “Enough,” he muttered. “Let’s end this.”

The UnFazed team moved as one through the middle, dodging vision, baiting the fight.

The awaited clash finally happened.

All five players from both sides collided in the middle of the map—every skill, every cooldown, every combo thrown with fire and blood.

Hyunbin was the first to fall, caught in a root.

Then Sangwon.

But Mimi took two of theirs down with her.

Jace soloed their marksman.

And then, Faze lunged.

His blade flashed. His screen shook. He used everything—his ultimate, his blink, his ignite.

However, the milky cat girl suddenly disappeared.

“She’s… dead, right?” Faze muttered under his breath.

However, what he didn’t know was that Zeno bought a resurrection item at the very last moment.

In a second, Zeno resurrected with a fourth of her health, and then BOOM!

Her ultimate was thrown straight to Faze’s character.

Enemy Slain!

Wiped Out!
