After a few minutes, Allan and the others arrived in front of a prison cell.
“Crocodile?”
They looked through the cold iron door and saw a man with neatly slicked back hair and a scar across his face, wearing the white-striped prison uniform and chained up with iron chains inside.
There was no mistake, this man was the former member of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, Crocodile.
Crocodile, also known as “Sand Crocodile,” not only held the title of a Seven Warlord of the Sea but also served as the president of the criminal organization Baroque Works, holding many other titles.
“It’s you guys?”
Crocodile, who was chained up with the huge seastone chains, lifted his head in surprise at the appearance of Mr. 1, Mr. 2, and Mr. 3.
“What’s going on? Why are you here?” Crocodile, the president, felt somewhat overjoyed at the arrival of the three Baroque Works members.
“President Crocodile, we came to rescue you,” said Mr. 1, his voice deep and respectful.
At the news, Crocodile was first surprised, then laughed heartily. “Haha, that’s great! I never expected my subordinates to come to my rescue. It seems that I can still sail the seas.”Mr. 3 used his ability to create a wax candle key, easily opened the huge iron door, and then proceeded to unlock all of the iron chains that held Crocodile captive.
Crocodile breathed in deeply as he walked out of the prison, feeling a sense of nostalgia and emotion as he spoke to his three subordinates. “To be honest, I never thought I would be able to escape from here. After all, this place is known for its impenetrable Prison.”
Mr. 2 Bon Clay spoke up. “Actually, we were only able to save the boss thanks to Allan’s help.”
Crocodile had already noticed Allan standing behind the three, his eyes carefully studying him. Seeing that he was not wearing a prisoner’s uniform, Crocodile guessed that he wasn’t a prisoner.
“I don’t know how you got in here, but you were able to save my subordinates and me. Baroque works owes you a favor,” Crocodile said.
Allan replied, “I’ve heard of your name for a long time. Seeing you today, you truly are extraordinary.”
“Your name is Allan, right?” Crocodile said. “Although I’ve never heard of your name, being able to lead my subordinates to the sixth level to rescue me means you must be quite skilled. How about we work together?”
Allan responded with a faint smile. “Let’s wait until we escape. I believe Magellan will be here soon.”
“Magellan? That guy is certainly a tough opponent, but I’m not afraid of him,” Crocodile said confidently.
Of course, he was not arrogant or underestimating Magellan, but he did have the ability to confront him.
“Let’s go quickly,” Mr. 3 said.
“Wait a minute, there is one more person, let’s save him too,” Crocodile said.
“Oh? Chairman, do you have someone you know who is also imprisoned here?” everyone was surprised, even Allan was curious.
“He’s an acquaintance,” Crocodile replied.
Afterward, they arrived at another cell.
Through the huge iron door, they saw a strange guy imprisoned inside.
He had blue skin, a wide and fat body, two big teeth in his jaw, a short beard, and a lightning-like scar at the corner of his left eye, which looked absolutely diffAllant from a normal person.
“Chairman, who is he?” Mr. 2 asked.
“He’s Jinbe, The Knight of the Sea, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, just like me,” Crocodile replied.
“What, he’s Jinbe? So he’s a Fishman.”
Except for Allan, Mr. 1, Mr. 2, and Mr. 3 all saw The Knight of the Sea Jinbe for the first time, but his illustrious reputation was already well known to all.
Seeing the real person in front of them, they were naturally quite surprised.
“Why is Jinbe also imprisoned here?” Mr. 1 asked.
Even Crocodile was curious about this.
Crocodile?
At this moment, Jinbe also looked at Crocodile standing outside the cell, wondering how a human like him had managed to escape.
“Jinbe, long time no see. I’m also curious about why you’ve been locked up here,” Crocodile said.
“I haven’t done anything wrong,” Jinbe replied, clearly not wanting to say more.
Crocodile smiled and didn’t ask further. He turned to Mr. 3 and said, “Release him.”
With Mr. 3’s help, Jinbe regained his freedom.
“Hey, Crocodile, why did you save me?” Jinbe asked as they left the cell.
“Heh, we’re both Shichibukai. A person like you shouldn’t be locked up here. Besides, I can’t stand the smug faces of those Marines. They have no right to imprison us here,” Crocodile replied.
Crocodile’s words indirectly answered why he saved Jinbe. Although Jinbe wasn’t sure if Crocodile had good intentions, one thing was for sure: he had been saved by him.
“Well, regardless of the reason, I owe you a favor,” Jinbe said.
Crocodile seemed quite satisfied, as not just anyone could get a favor owed by Jinbe.
“By the way, who are these people?” Jinbe looked at Mr. 1, Mr. 2, Mr. 3, and finally Allan, who was the only one not wearing a prisoner’s outfit among them.
This means that Allan is not a prisoner from Impel Down, but entered from outside. Therefore, the thing that intrigued him the most was Allan.
“These three are members of my Baroque Works, with code names Mr. 1, Daz Bones, Mr. 2, Bon Clay, and Mr. 3, Galdino. As for this person, I just met him, but thanks to him, my subordinates and I, including you, were able to escape from those damn cells,” Crocodile explained.
“Oh?” Upon hearing this, Jinbei couldn’t help but size up Allan.
Allan spoke up, “I’ve heard of your great reputation. I’m Allan.”
” Allan?” Jinbei thought for a moment. He had never heard of the name Allan before, but since he was able to enter Impel Down, he was not an ordinary person. “Thank you for your help, Allan, although I’m not sure of your intentions,” Jinbei said politely.
Crocodile interrupted, “Alright, let’s talk outside. We’re still on the sixth level.”
Everyone nodded in agreement, realizing it was time to leave. As they passed by other prison cells, the captive pirates inside cried out to them.
“Hey, let us out too!”
“Please, help us out!”
Hearing this, Allan stopped in his tracks and sneered, “Ha, aren’t you afraid we’ll drag you down with us? So why should we save you?”
“Unbelievable…” The prisoners felt embarrassed as Allan and his group passed by the sixth level. They had expressed their displeasure but never expected Allan to hold a grudge.
“You lot can rot in here until you die,” Allan sneered.
“Damn it all!” The incarcerated pirates regretted their words as they watched Allan leave.
Meanwhile, a large group of prison guards had assembled, ready to stop Allan and his companions from escaping the sixth level. Leading the charge was none other than the warden of Impel Down, Magellan.
He was joined by two vice-admirals, five deputy wardens, and four senior officers, as well as the four beasts that made up Impel Down’s infamous squad of jailer beasts.
Magellan had called upon Impel Down’s entire army, determined to capture Allan and his friends once and for all.
