"So, there is something called Earth outside this place?" Snowie asked in a neutral tone as she kept her face expressionless.

Zack had tried his best to explain about Earth and his past to Snowie but he knew that there were many plot holes there. Due to the gaps in his memories, Zack wasn't able to tell her why he had appeared on Earth.

Snowie was wondering the same thing but didn't ask it since she knew that Zack would have told to her if he knew it himself.

"Yes, and that place is also where I was born in both my past and current life. Any other questions?"

"Hmm." If the person talking to her was not her second master and someone she trusted, Snowie would have outright said that it was a far-fetched tale. "Can I visit this place?"

"That's the reason I am here. I want you to change a thing in our contract so that I can summon you anywhere I want," Zack replied while thinking about Daedalus and Icarus.

The two eagles also held a similar contract and Zack wanted to summon them on Earth too. He would try it with Snowie too before making a public appearance in front of the entire world.

Zack knew that he had to demonstrate his powers once in a while to show that he was still the strongest in their world despite the incidents that were taking place.

"Then go ahead and do it. I will wait for it." Snowie replied as she made the changes to the contract or rather, the oath that both of them had taken. "Also, who is that?"

"That's Lance," Zack replied while he accepted the changes. "He is a Vermilion Phoenix."

Snowie paused for a second while trying to process whether she had heard the right thing or not.

"You mean THE Vermilion Phoenix?" She asked while staring at Lance. The Phoenix paid her no attention as he was still busy thinking.

"Yes, he is that Phoenix. You should know, Snowie. He was my best friend and companion all those years." Zack replied as Snowie looked doubtful.

She then moved forward and touched Lance's head with her index finger, sending a jolt of electricity throughout her body.

"I see…" She muttered in a dazed voice. "I do know him but forgot about that."

Zack didn't look surprised to see such a reaction. He was already getting to know that touching someone important would make both of them remember some memories.

However, Lance looked as though he hadn't recovered any memories and even if he did, he didn't care about them.

[ What are you even thinking Lance? ]

[ Shh. I am trying to remember what else I might have left behind to be used in the future. ]

After hearing his reply, Zack decided to log out and see whether the summoning feature worked or not.

He then logged out of Hikari and woke up on his bed to see Lance's body lying beside him.

However, the Phoenix's body was still very small making it seem that he had only grown inside the game.

'I managed to get all the information on how the Eizenburgh kingdom and the other kingdoms around it are doing alongside meeting Snowie and checking up on the underworld.' Most of the stuff that Zack had wanted to do was done.

Now all he had to do was wait for Snowie to gain more information inside Hikari and share it with him and Jonathan.

'Jonathan said that he had already started gathering resources in case of an upcoming war but we still lack in numbers. If a kingdom war happens now, all of us are gonna be fcked up.'

Zack knew that he and his friends were going to play a major role in the war which had become inevitable. Yet the difference in their numbers was just too wide.

Even if Lance got to level 200, Zack doubted that he alone could take on three guardians, especially if they were all under some strange influence.

'While Zack was planning for the war, Lance too managed to quit the game by thinking of appearing on Earth.

A red button spelling 'Log Out' had appeared in front of him and had allowed him to leave the game.

After appearing in Zack's room, Lance had to wait for a few seconds to let his body grow to the same size he had inside the game.

Once that was done, Lance immediately flew towards Zack and sat on top of his head.

[ Zack, I think I only got like 5% or so power out of the total one I had stored inside the gem. The rest is still with you and the same will be true for Emma. As for what reason, I have no idea. ]

After hearing Lance's words, Zack decided to show him the moment he had found Eirias and gotten the gem from Jonathan.

Lance seemed too shocked to see the scene of Zack standing in the darkness and moving the coffin titled 'Coffin of the Heir of Arthur Pendragon'.

Both of them knew who the person was yet their memories of him were blurry. Zack also felt a longing sensation towards Arthur but couldn't remember him completely.

"So that was all that happened…" Lance said a few minutes after Zack had shown him everything. "Then I guess that when you died back in the day, you did something to hide Eirias?"

"Honestly, I don't know."

Both of them sighed simultaneously before deciding to move out.

"Lance, who do you think we should visit first?" Zack asked aloud as he made his way to his friends' rooms.

Even though he was itching to try and summon Snowie, Daedalus, and Icarus, he wanted to know about his friends' conditions first.

"Let's check on Emma. I want to see the other gem anyways." Lance replied as the two of them appeared in front of Emma's door and knocked.

She didn't open the door the first time so they knocked again. Once she didn't open the door for the second time, Zack knocked on it for the third time.

This time, he heard a noise coming from inside the room which meant that he had forced Emma to move.

The door opened a few seconds later as Emma's head peeked out.

"What do you want?" She asked in an irritated tone but before Zack could reply, Lance shot forward.

[ What are you doing?! ]

[ Trying to make her remember me duh. ] He replied in an obvious tone before reaching out for Emma's forehead and touching it with his right-wing.

A shocking sensation passed through both of their bodies as Emma jerked back and the door opened completely.

She managed to prevent herself from falling by rolling in the air and landing on her feet with slightly parted eyes.

Her gaze was currently on Lance who was staring back as well. The two looked like long-time best friends who were meeting after a long time.

"Lance?" Emma asked in a slightly unsure tone.

"Yes, it's me. Do you remember me, Emma?"

"Yeah…"

The next moment, both of them hugged each other before giving each other a high five, Emma with her hand and Lance with his right-wing.

For some reason, Zack felt as though he had just seen the awakening of a storm that had vanished mysteriously a long time ago.
