A/N: I had released one of the chapters earlier by mistake while setting the timer and that was counted before reset which means I need to write another chapter.

I am writing this kinda late so forgive me if it's a mess.

Thank you for understanding.

With a crackling sound, Zack and Emma suddenly landed in front of a shop.

"This is a… black market?" Emma's jaw was immediately left hanging when she saw the place that was referred to as the black market.

Shops made from solid concrete stood in straight lines with pathways for the customers to walk through. Zack and Emma could see signs hanging above their head as they found out that they were currently standing in the food section.

For every section, there were at least fifty shops dedicated to that particular thing. Above them, the ceiling was made from marble which meant that either the entire thing was underground or above the ground in an extremely large hall.

However, Zack wasn't interested in any of these shops or sections. His motive was to find the ruler of the place and see what he had to offer.

"Emma, keep close to me and if you see anyone suspicious approaching you, just attack them and say, "I thought you were trying to poison me". People here are extremely greedy when it comes to such things."

After seeing the pink-haired girl nod, Zack held her right hand and started dragging her. To reach the place where Hayden was most likely staying, there was the only thing that he could do.

He had to travel through one of the sections while reaching the middle of the place from where all the shops were connected.

If he remembered correctly, there was a small tent that served as the outpost for the black market. However, the tent actually led to a big mansion where the armies and other stuff of the underworld were held.

[ Have you come here before? ] Emma asked while narrowing her eyes as Zack walked through the place with complete familiarity.

He had guided them through the jewel section where there were the least amount of people. Jewels could easily be bought anywhere else and the chances of them being fake in the black market were very high.

[ I visited this place one time. ] Zack replied as the two of them continued walking.

But a few minutes later, Zack suddenly stopped walking. He realized something was wrong and he had forgotten about that.

He had asked the man that he had wanted to get accessories for his slave. He shouldn't have appeared in all sections place and would have been teleported to the accessories and artifacts section.

Unknown to him, an item in his inventory was glowing brightly. An item he had forgotten about soon after receiving it in the past.

It had started glowing the moment he and Emma had left the guild to go and take the collar from the shop.

[ 20th March 2071 ]

As soon as the notification appeared in front of Zack, chills ran through his back. He looked back at Emma to see her giving him a confused look.

[ Did you just meet your old enemy or something? ]

Instead of replying to her question, Zack dashed towards an alley and opened his inventory. He took out Gugnir and read the details of the lance.

[ Gugnir (myth): The lance of Odin, a god of Asgard. The lance is said to always hit its target without fail.

Skills:

Energy blasts: 5 energy blasts can be shot from the tip of the lance.

Cooldown: 5 minutes

Passive ability:

Guaranteed hit: No matter from where the spear is thrown, it will always hit its enemy without fail.]

'What kind of bullsht is this…' Zack's eyes widened when he saw the details of the lance. The abilities that were currently displayed hadn't been there in either of his two lives.

Seeing the black-haired boy's baffled face, Emma couldn't help but feel as though something was wrong.

"What's wrong darling? Did something weird happen?" Emma asked while tilting her face as Zack looked back at her in confusion.

"Darling?"

"Are you playing a prank on me, Zack? I swear this is not the right place nor the right time to be playing a prank on your girlfriend."

'Wait a minute…' Zack's face went blank when he heard Emma's words.

"Emma, what is the date today?"

"20th March?" Emma replied in the same confused tone as Zack suddenly pinched her cheek.

The pink-haired girl released an "EEK!" sound before giving Zack the "Why did you do that" look.

'What the hell is happening?!' The teenager on the other hand was looking for an explanation.

Did Gugnir send him in the future where Emma became his girlfriend?

'Yes, there is a possibility that can happen.' To test his newly formed theory, Zack decided to ask Emma a few questions.

"Emma, who do we work for?"

"Telsa."

"What's the name of my sister?"

"You have a sister?!"

"What's the name of Doogle's CEO?"

"What is it with all these questions? His name is Craig Hayes."

Zack suddenly started rubbing his temples as he realized that he was not in the future.

Emma continued to look at him with a confused and baffled expression as she tried to figure out why her boyfriend was acting so weird.

"Is it because of him Zack? I know you are stronger than him so you don't need to worry." Emma suddenly bent forward and kissed Zack on the cheek.

"Him?" He completely ignored the kiss for the time being as Emma opened her mouth to reply.

At that moment, the forgotten artifact glowed in his inventory once again as he suddenly vanished from the place.

"Zack? Zack? Earth to Zack, can you hear me?!" Emma shouted inside Zack's ears as he immediately woke up.

The black-haired boy looked around to see that he was currently standing in the capital city in front of the guild.

'What just happened..'
