We grabbed the Goblet at the same time, and then the portal began to activate. Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed that there was no golem behind Potter's shoulder, so I managed to pull my own into my hand with telekinesis, and the portal already carried us into unknown distances, mercilessly spinning. Bad, very bad portal. Did they make it that way on purpose?
Prepare something special. We are improvising, Rowena, but we assume that Avada will fly at us.
<I recommend a layer of transfigured material and the Blood Shield underneath. The former will explode from Avada, creating the illusion of being hit, while the latter will stop the shrapnel and Avada if hit.>
The portal didn't land, no. It slammed us to the ground. Even my head buzzed. Quickly jumping up, I looked around. A dark, gloomy cemetery with rather large monuments and a couple of crypts. There was a moon rising on the horizon, a starry sky overhead, and just as I couldn't remember the name before, I couldn't remember it now.
A rather tall figure in a hooded robe came briskly out of the crypt, carrying a bundle that exuded a sense of magic. Potter hissed something in there, and I was wobbly after the horrible portkey. Really wobbly.
"Kill the spare," an unpleasant voice came out of the bundle, and a cloaked figure quickly pointed his wand at me.
"Avada Kedavra!"
The acceleration helped me see the quick and bright green beam. I managed to create a transfigured sheet of iron and a blood shield right in the beam's path - in front of my chest. However, the impact was very powerful, and I was thrown slightly to the side. At that moment, I let go of the invisible golem, but it seemed to be damaged and didn't want to rise. Imperceptibly I turned it around so that the image would go on the screens if the magical connection could reach it.
Let's simulate clinical death? For a while.
<All right.>
Thoughts began to flow slowly and viscously, and it was getting dark in my eyes, but not completely.
<Until when?>
Rebirth and the start of the duel.
Very viscously. Sounds came as if through water, and the dark, dark images before my eyes moved blurry, leaving long, unmoving traces in my mind. The saddest thing is that I don't know any other way out.
Out of the corner of my mind, I noted that Potter was chained to a large tombstone, a ritual was performed by throwing the necessary ingredients into a cauldron over a fire. A figure emerged from the cauldron and dressed in the provided black robe, began to rush back and forth, waving his arms and saying something pompous. About two dozen black traces of transgression landed in a crescent shape next to the figure and began to listen to the words of this artistically rushing back and forth wizard.
<Wake up. Useful information.>
The brightness and contrast of the world came back abruptly. I was lying two dozen feet away from the scene. Lying there, I listened intently.
"... and the amazing thing!" in a cold and slightly hissy voice, Voldemort was clearly speaking. "A frankly worthless wizard, but purposeful, he did the impossible. He found the thing that belonged to me and, with the help of ancient, forgotten magic, helped me to return to my own, albeit incomplete, body in which I existed, preparing everything necessary for a true rebirth. But his usefulness didn't end there, either. Henry turned out to be a treasure trove of useful information, didn't he, my vengeful friend?"
Voldemort looked at the leaning wizard with the silver hand, Henry Greengrass.
"Truly so, my lord."
"This hand is only part of my thanks to you, as promised. And Lord Voldemort forgets nothing, and I will help you in your undoubtedly extraordinary grief. But back to the story. A few spells of my own invention, a little help from my dear Nagini," Voldemort looked at the huge snake slithering around him incessantly, "a potion brewed from unicorn blood and snake venom that Nagini shared with me... and soon I had my almost human form back, in which I could travel."
After a short pause, he went on to tell everyone his thoughts and the help of Henry, who knew of the Tournament. The story of why he chose Potter for his rebirth - his mother's protection. It looks like it really exists. He also praised his plan to infiltrate the faithful Death Eater into Hogwarts, which helped Potter get here. He also helped Potter overcome the difficulties. He also enchanted the Goblet. But this is nothing new to me. I have to kill Greengrass - he can cause trouble.
But how to kill him? If the golem is transmitting an image, I shouldn't kill anyone here - I am still studying at Hogwarts, and over there, I see Nott, Goyle, and Crabbe. There's a lot of people. Besides, I definitely shouldn't kill in front of a bunch of young and not-so-young wizards, employees of the ministry.
