“I know it’s hard to believe,” Xien Zhenya thought that Yu Dong was surprised by what she said and sighed heavily. “But it is the truth. The guards and I saw the corpses move on their own; it can be said that this master is really powerful. She actually came up with a way to control the corpses of those who died.”

She looked at the dead larva that was lying on the ground and pursed her lips before saying, “Leave this matter to me.”

Xien Zhenya looked at Yu Dong, who seemed to be bent on carrying the entire war on her shoulders and sighed. Once the figure disappeared, Yu Dong opened her eyes and slowly turned her head to the side with a curl of her lips. She had been wondering how it was possible for this larva to suddenly appear in the base camp.
However, she was not in a hurry. She closed her eyes and took a nap before thinking of how to deal with the matter in hand.
While Yu Dong was recovering, a mer hurried to the side of the base and entered the servant quarters.
“Qin Qing?” The mer called out to the woman who was resting in her bed and hurried out of the quarters.
Qin Qing looked at the mer and questioned hurriedly, “Why are you here? Didn’t I tell you that we shouldn’t meet unless it’s necessary?”
The mer however was not in the mood to listen to Qin Qing’s reproachful words. He said to her, “Listen to this: Xien Zhenya is prepared to attack the next city in the next three days and it seems like that Yu woman has a way to deal with the moving corpses.”
“I heard her. She didn’t show the slightest bit of surprise when the princess showed the larva to her; in fact, she was quite calm and even asked the princess to leave the matter to her. What do you think? What kind of weapon does that woman have to deal with this trouble now?”
Once the mer finished speaking, Qin Qing’s expression changed, and she said to him, “Don’t worry too much about it; I will send a letter to my aunt. She might know how to deal with this matter.”
The mer nodded and slipped away while Qin Qing turned on her feet and then headed back inside the servants’ tent.
She was the niece of Prime Minister Qin but because of one order from the Empress, she had to follow the servants of the second princess. What shocked her even more was that even after having a spy in the base, Xien Xieren couldn’t deal with Xien Zhenya!
That woman was really hopeless.
Though Qin Qing felt that her aunt was following the wrong leader, she had no other option.
Thus, she could only continue with her mission.
Once she was done writing the letter, Qin Qing slipped out and went to her usual spot to send the letter, but this time around she was not alone. As soon as she escaped the eyes of the guards and brought her lips to call her carrier bird, someone struck her on the back of her neck and watched her fall unconscious before throwing her inside the interspatial space.
