The chair was the first to hit Black Knife. As a rank 2 giantess, she has the rank 1 Strength Boost divine ability, so her strength is comparable to a rank 3 godclad. All of that strength made the chair break immediately; it smashed into Black Knife.
The attack was nowhere near enough to kill Black Knife. He was at most bruised by the hit. The critical thing was that the blow forced him to stumble, so he couldn’t dodge the next batch of seeds thrown at him.
The seeds were already glowing before they hit him. When they did, they began growing roots immediately.
If Black Knife distanced himself, he would be able to have the time and space to resolve this problem. But he didn’t do so. He still kept stabbing Silver Mirror.
The seeds grew roots that stabbed into his clothes and into his flesh. Then the seeds began to drain him of his life energy.
The reckless absorption of his life energy and flesh as nutrients by the seedlings weakened Black Knife. But he still didn’t leave Silver Mirror alone. He kept stabbing him while more seeds were thrown at him and a large armored fist was sent his way.
After just two seconds of absorption, Black Knife had become too weak to attack Silver Mirror fast enough to keep him stunned. Fortunately, he didn’t need to attack Silver Mirror anymore.
Black Knife activated all the Death Marks that he had placed on Silver Mirror. This caused Silver Mirror’s body to crack. Blood sprayed out of the cracks in his body.
Even his bones cracked. Every part of his body was injured up to his eye. So he fell down to the floor with his life hanging in a balance.
Black Knife’s mission had been completed, so Legion told him to kill the other two. Black Knife didn’t have to deal with Silver Mirror anymore, so he was able to dodge the large, armored fist of the giantess. Then he cut off her outstretched arm with his blade.
This isn’t something he can do on his own because the blade of darkness is useless against inorganic materials. The armor should have broken his blade of darkness. But Sever caused the blade to cut through the whole arm.
The giantess resisted him by kicking and punching. But she was too slow, so he managed to dodge her attacks and even managed to stab her many times after.
In less than two seconds, he had stabbed her in the heart and even cut off her head. This had exacerbated his injuries, but he was still fit enough to fight the green-haired woman or escape. It is unlikely that he would be able to do both.
Now that his mission had been fulfilled, he should run for his life. But Legion didn’t allow him to go. Legion used Hypnotize on him and forced him to continue fighting despite his injuries.
So he pounced on the green-haired lady and fought her. In the face of death, she activated Nurture with all her might and gave the seeds all the boost that they needed to hollow Black Knife out.
Her move succeeded. After two seconds, Black Knife had lost all of his blood and was losing muscle mass too. Black Knife began to lose weight rapidly while the weight of the plants on him increased drastically.
After losing muscle mass, his bones would be next. Fortunately, he was able to kill her before that happened.
However, he had become too weak to escape. In fact, he couldn’t walk anymore. He fell to the ground in pain, struggling to crawl to safety.
Silver Mirror wasn’t in a better condition either. The only difference was that Silver Mirror was more likely to survive by using his epic body to convert his spiritual energy into life energy, which will heal his wounds.
But Legion didn’t let that happen. They began siphoning his spiritual energy with three marks of bondage. Then they made the fourth mark of bondage to transform and bond with Silver Mirror’s soul.
As soon as the mark of bondage retracted its thorns and sank into the layers of his mind, he felt pain. He also realized that something was wrong and wanted to resist.
Unfortunately for him, he had been beaten physically by Black Knife, mentally by the Mark of Bondage, and spiritually by Life Siphon. He had been defeated on all fronts, so there was nothing he could do to resist.
So even though Legion couldn’t use Hypnotize to make him give up his resistance because his spirit was far more powerful than Legion’s, it turned out that they didn’t need to.
The mark of bondage sank into Silver Mirror’s existence and found six souls within it. Three of them were in charge of the pathway of the walker. The other three were not doing anything.
Legion took over one of the free souls. Then they bound it with the pathway of the slave.
This process led to physical changes in Silver Mirror. He gained a new pair of pupils, which helped him realize what was going on.
He roared in anger, “No!!! You cretin. You’re a slaver.”
Legion smirked and said to him, “Do you remember your promise? You promised to do whatever I want when I ask for it.”
Silver Mirror realized that this wasn’t the first time he had met this slaver. When he combined the situation he was in when he first encountered the slaver and his current situation, he realized that the slaver was weaker than him.
On both occasions, he had been too weak to resist. Now he knows why that was the case.
He roared in anger again, “You dare to enslave me with your weak power? I will kill you.”
Legion laughed and admonished, “It is too late for that now. You’ve been blessed by me. So you can’t harm me anymore, and if I die, you will also die. So you have to protect me if you care about your life.”
