After practising for a few hours, I opened my eyes. Then I stood up and went to the control room to check. I saw no activities outside.

I thought for a moment before appearing outside. Then I exited the wall and landed on the ground. It’s another day, I don’t know what will happen today.

I don’t want to hide inside the well all day and night.

What to do? I don’t want to take the risk of stepping inside the charred land.

Especially, the unknown monstrous existence in the underground is too terrifying to face.

Even the Forbidden Wizard was almost beaten to death. It can easily kill a Tier-8 wizard like me. Instead of going out, it’s better to send the Zero Puppet.

The Zero Puppet had already scouted the place for me. It could find another resource if it goes this time.

After making the decision, I went inside the Gregor Mansion and brought the Zero Puppet outside. Its core was filled with Super Grade Mana stones.

It won’t run out of energy anytime soon.

“Zero, go and find if there is any special place around this area. If you could find resources, then get it back,” I said to the puppet.

“Okay, master,” The Zero puppet replied before leaving the place.

I should not wait for any opportunity to return to the Inheritance place. Instead, I should try my luck in the Magic City.

The Zero Puppet processes the information. As per the Master’s order, it should find resources. It knows about Master’s past activities as well.

Zero had helped the Master in plundering the Wizard’s resources in the past. So the Zero Puppet decides to take back the body to the master.

The corpse should have resources left. Then it began to carry the old woman’s corpse on its shoulder. I started walking back.

It didn’t take long for the puppet to get back to the master. It arrived in 20 minutes.

On the other hand, I was dumbfounded. My eyes were looking at the corpse. I could not be more shocked.

“System, verify whether the body has life?” I asked the puppet.

In the hall, the puppet drops the corpse of the Forbidden Wizard on the floor.

“Master, I have brought back the resources,” Zero Puppet said.

Hearing that my mouth twitches.

“Good job,” I said to the puppet.

Zero’s eye sockets lit with blue light.

My gaze then fell on the old woman’s corpse.

“Ha…Ha…Ha…,” I started laughing out loud. I couldn’t control my happy laughter.

I got another windfall. But this time it was better than I had expected. I was disappointed by not having the Forbidden Wizard’s resources with me.

I could only get my hands on the Supreme Wizard’s resources earlier. Now, I have the corpse of another Forbidden Wizard with me.

My heart was filled with happiness. I didn’t expect to come here. I could get the resources that I had dreamt about.

After calming down my heart, I looked at the puppet and asked it to collect the storage bracelet from the corpse.

It’s the corpse of the Forbidden Wizard. I hope there is no trickery left behind.

Zero went to the side of the old woman’s corpse and began to remove the storage bracelet. After some cuts, the puppet collected the storage bracelet.

Then it brought the bracelet to the master.

I received the black storage bracelet in my hand. From the looks and design, I can tell it was advanced tech.

Unfortunately, I can only look at it here. If you wear it outside, it would be the same as inviting trouble. I used the system to check the storage bracelet.

After finding there was no threat, I used my mental power to check the items inside. There are piles of items. Most of them are special boxes.

“What?” I blurted out in surprise.

There is a magic treasure that could help me understand the rule power. A bright smile appeared on my face.

I was worried about the last hurdle to becoming a level-9 Wizard. Now I have this magic treasure. Then I could become a level-9 Wizard faster than other Wizard seeds.

Then I looked into the bracelet again. Then I followed the system guide to find the magic tree root. It’s inside one of the special boxes.

I took the box out and placed the bracelet into the system space with other important resources.

“How to open it?” I asked myself.

“Master, I will open it,” Zero Puppet said.

Hearing that I gave it to him. Because there is a seal on top of the boxes.

The puppet’s blue eyes can see the box. Then it carefully removed the seal before uncovering the box.

A breath of fresh powerful mana comes out from the magic tree root.

Seeing that I took the box and thanked the puppet. Then I told the puppet to monitor the control mirror.

The Zero Puppet left, and I sat cross-legged on the ground. I took the small magic tree root in my hand. Which was in a dull brown colour.

Then I closed my eyes and started to pay attention to the forbidden runes in my bones. Paying attention to the forbidden runes was the quick way to connect to the Gravity Rule.

Time passed,

I don’t know, I found myself starting to get answers for my doubts. The knowledge regarding gravity began to increase.

If I use rule power in the spell, then it could cause much more destruction. As time passed, I began to find new ways to use the terrain around me.

My gravity magic targets anything in any place. It’s just a field-type magic spell that is constraining me. The magic is working inside the zone.

What if I had to target something outside the zone? A lot of questions are appearing in my mind. But I’m getting answers slowly.

A few hours later,

The Zero Puppet saw someone outside the well.

Swoosh!

Then it quickly appears in the hall the next moment.

“Master, someone is standing outside the well,” The zero puppet said.

Hearing that, I opened my eyes and placed the root back into the box and put it inside the system space.

Without a thought, I appeared back in the cave, leaning against the well.

Seeing that there was no one inside the cave. I sighed in relief. The Gregor Mansion was so close to getting exposed.

“But who came here?” I asked myself.

Don’t tell me the Wind Elemental Tower’s survivors have come? As this thought rose in my heart, I decided to enter the Gregor Mansion.

Someone appeared before me the next second. But upon seeing the person, I sighed in relief.

“Wizard Seed Vincent Carey!”

“It’s time to go back to the Silver Tower,” Charlotte said with a smile.

Hearing that I smiled in response as well. It’s good that she has come. It’s time to return to the magic city.
