Raydon exhaled heavily as he finally made it back to his room and sighed, "Phew, what a long day." When he finally collapsed onto the bed, he took a long, deep breath to help calm his exhausted mind and body.
Even though he had not participated in any matches or hunted monsters for experience points, the revelations about his past and the awakening as a higher being, along with the updating of his system, had left him feeling mentally exhausted.
"Now, it's time to rest," Raydon mumbled, his stomach growling in agreement as he contemplated a well-deserved rest.
''Wait… '' However, before succumbing to sleep, he realized he needed to satisfy his hunger.
Even though it hadn't been that long since he'd consumed several kilograms of meat, it was obvious that he had been hungry ever since he reawakened because his body required nutrients once more.
"I should have asked Diam to prepare something to eat," Raydon murmured, opening his empty and desolate inner world, disappointed by the absence of sustenance.
Just as Raydon pondered the predicament of resting on an empty stomach and the need to find nourishment, a knock echoed at his room's door.
"Who could it be this time?" Raydon wondered.
He called out, "Come in," and the door creaked open to reveal a maid pushing a large serving trolley filled to the brim with a variety of mouthwatering dishes.
"Wow, this is exactly what I needed," Raydon exclaimed with delight, quickly springing out of bed and surveying the array of enticing food before him.
"Damn, it's been ages since I've had such a feast," Raydon remarked, grabbing a knife and fork and eagerly indulging in the flavors of the diverse dishes.
Even though the meat from the mobs that he found from matches and cooked over his own fire tasted good, he was beginning to get bored with the meals because they were the only thing he had been eating for a long time, and now these meals seemed like heaven to him.
In addition to this, he observed that the meats that were used in the dishes had a higher nutritional value than anything else that he had previously consumed. It became apparent that these meats originated from E-Rank or even D-Rank monsters, at the very least.
"Hm? Is there something you'd like to say?" Raydon inquired, noticing the maid's lingering presence in the room as he skillfully maneuvered his fork and knife.
"A-ah, nothing," the maid stammered, her face turning crimson. Since the moment that she walked into the room, she had been utterly bewitched by Raydon's charm, and she was unable to tear her gaze away from his flawless appearance.
'Is this really our exiled young master? ' the maid wondered in shock, admiring Raydon's impeccable physique and features. Even his graceful use of utensils while eating seemed to mesmerize her, making it difficult to avert her eyes.
The majority of the maids had seen Raydon while he was residing in the mansion, and even though he did not appear to be as frail and neglected as he had in the past when he returned to the mansion a while ago, Raydon's appearance changed again after reawakening, which was sufficient to shock her.
"Is there something else?" Raydon questioned, observing her continued stare.
Caught off guard, the maid blushed even deeper and quickly nodded, her face filled with alarm. "Enjoy your meal," she managed to utter before hastily retreating from the room and shutting the door behind her.
''Weird. I thought I had concealed my presence completely," Raydon muttered to himself.
Because he was used to being ignored and treated with disdain by everyone who lived in the mansion, he found the behavior of the maid to be perplexing.
He checked his presence once again, verifying that his concealment technique was flawless. "Oh, it must be because of how handsome I look. '' Concluding that her gaze was likely due to his striking appearance, he shrugged it off and resumed his meal.
—
Raydon exclaimed, "Finally, I'm full" after consuming several kilograms of food in a short amount of time while simultaneously enjoying every bite. He exhaled a sigh of contentment, his stomach having been completely filled by the meal.
Raydon had a full stomach and was considering taking a nap, but then he recalled an important task that required his attention before he could relax and sleep.
"I wonder how this works," he murmured, opening the character panel and directing his gaze to the section displaying his innate skills.
Then, he retrieved the blue-grade dagger that Cael had gifted him some time ago, which had recently completed the binding process.
[Nightshade Dagger]

The speed of movement varies based on the user's agility stat.
The cooldown varies based on the user's stamina stat.
-Mana cost: 220
-Duration: -
-Cooldown: 1 second.
"Man... This skill is so cool. The only downside is the high mana cost," Raydon mused, admiring the remarkable movement skill before him.
It should not have come as a shock that Raydon picked a movement-type skill as his first innate skill. The majority of the item holders would choose either movement or defensive skills, and having an additional movement skill would be of great benefit to Raydon in matches, allowing him to quickly kill mobs as well as members of the opposing team.
The functionality and effectiveness of the skill could not be fully conveyed by simply reading the description of the skill; however, Raydon vividly recalled how the dagger had materialized in front of him in a burst of black smoke when Cael had handed it over to him. It had made an indelible mark, which was a testament to the coolness and power that it possessed.
"I suppose I should give it a try before officially adding it to my innate skills," Raydon muttered.
