As Raydon sat there and meditated, an observer looking at him at this moment might get the impression that his body was as lifeless as a tree stump as if it had been motionless for centuries on end.
As he concentrated on his soul, he noticed that his inner world contained a reflection of his soul. However, the representation of this soul that he saw in the form of an avatar was entirely dark and appeared to be engulfed in a fire of the same color.
ραпdα nᴏνa| сom "Could it be due to the ash attribute that I have?"
Raydon was under the impression that the ash quality of his mana was responsible for his soul having this appearance. It would appear that the ash attribute of his HP was responsible for the flames and burning effects that manifested in his physical body, whereas the attribute that was present in his MP was the factor that led to the transformation that occurred in his soul.
He opened his eyes slowly and said with a smile after he had spent several hours carefully examining his inner self. ''I knew what this feeling belonged to. ''
Raydon was finally able to comprehend this sensation by utilizing a different technique he had learned and mastered in video games. The mana that Raydon could only faintly sense was very similar to the qi that was utilized in the majority of the martial arts classes in his previous world.
"Unfortunately, it does not appear that I will be able to increase my mana through cultivation or meditation."
The technique he used to sense his mana was a cultivation technique, but it did not help him increase his spirit stat or mana. But after realizing that at least this mana possesses qi-like qualities, he came up with another technique.
He once more shut his eyes and started to concentrate. After what seemed like only a few seconds, incredible energy started to radiate from all over Raydon's body. His body suddenly began to emit a black ominous aura, which quickly formed a barrier over his entire being and surrounded it completely.
However, this aura did not stop there, and the shadowy aura that was emanating from the barrier started to spread throughout the entire room.
*Crack* *Crack*
Fractures appeared in the house's walls and floor as Raydon's aura spread outward from him.
*Crash*
The vase nearby suddenly disintegrated into fragments,
*Shatter*
And eventually, the aura that had been penetrating his windows shattered them with a resounding crash.
"I believe that this is a good time for me to stop." When Raydon noticed that his house had been harmed and that even his TV screen was cracked, he made the decision to stop.
''But man…This technique for releasing the aura is actually effective, hahaha. '' When he realized that his technique was successful, he couldn't contain his glee and burst out laughing.
What Raydon did was similar to what a martial artist would do by releasing qi, or internal energy.
Since it wasn't a skill and was instead the result of his enlarged soul brought about by the materialization of his mana, he didn't have to expend any of his mana to accomplish it. However, even if he could use his aura to cause damage to his room, even if it were powerful enough to cause injury to an average person, it would be ineffective against other item holders.
''With this aura, I can only scare off my weaker opponents or dampen their will to fight. On the other hand, as my spirit stat rises, the destructive power that it can unleash has the potential to grow even further. And who knows? There might be another way I can use this technique to boost my elemental strength. ''
As Raydon's spirit stat grew, he pondered the new options and techniques he could employ.
"But unfortunately, regardless of how well I can control my mana, it appears to be impossible for me to use a skill without relying on items. '' With a sigh, he said.
He made the startling discovery that he was able to sense the mana that activates the skills in the items and had some degree of control over it. Unfortunately, because item holders did not have a life core in their bodies, they were unable to incorporate these skills into their own bodies and could only use skills via the magic equipment they possessed.
'Perhaps in the distant future, even if I don't have a life core, I'll find a way to infuse these skills into my soul so that I don't need magic equipment to use them. ' Raydon became lost in deep thought.
"Oh well, I guess that's that. I doubt I will be able to accomplish that anytime soon, even if it is technically feasible. '' He laughed and got to his feet.
His life had already become more enjoyable simply due to the fact that everything was the way it was now. And he made the decision to consider it at a later time when he was stuck and required additional development for his power.
That he was able to apply yet another technique he had picked up from his earlier life in this world was enough to make him pleased.
The berserker technique was the one that created his new combo, and it was also the one that was the most useful of the techniques at the moment.
Through the use of this technique, he was able to quicken the rhythm of his heart, which sped up the rate at which blood was pumped throughout his body. Additionally, he was able to exert more control over his adrenaline levels, which enabled him to stimulate the cells in his body and increase his physical strength by removing his body's limits.
And in addition to this berserker technique, which is for his physical body, he now also possessed the aura technique, which was for his soul.
And the potential of the aura technique was even higher than the potential of the berserker technique, which he thought he could even use in the future to strengthen his skills and elevate the amount of elemental damage they dealt.
