Flash Marriage: He is a Wife-pampering Addict
Chapter 925: 924 Why didn't you tell meChapter 925: 924 Why didn’t you tell me
Wen Ran was somewhat surprised, but still happy for Zhou Lin.
Although they had their conflicts before, Wen Ran had considered Zhou Lin a friend. Now that Zhou Lin sincerely intended to change for Tiantian, even if not for her, for the sake of Tiantian, Wen Ran hoped that she and Mo Zixuan could have a good outcome.
A complete family would be beneficial for Tiantian’s growth.
“This is a good sign, Mo Zixuan still has feelings for Tiantian. After all, it’s a bond of blood, I think, you can seize this opportunity…”
Wen Ran said encouragingly.
Mo Zixuan was actually not bad.
She remembered the Mo Zixuan she first met, a cheerful, sunny young man who, when he smiled, always brought a warm glow like the sun.
The events that had happened later had caused him to lose his way and make some foolish decisions. In this world, people driven to extremes by emotions were not few. If Mo Zixuan could see the good side of Zhou Lin, perhaps, he might really fall for her too.
“Ranran, I now dare not have any grand hopes. I’m just very happy and content that Zixuan is treating me this way,” Zhou Lin said, her tone filled with emotion. She was not Wen Ran; she did not dare hope that Zixuan would love her deeply as Mo Xiuchen loved Wen Ran.

Wen Ran stayed in the hospital until noon. She had planned to have lunch with her father and brother, but unexpectedly, Mo Xiuchen arrived at the hospital.
Just as she and Gu Kai were leaving the hospital, they saw Mo Xiuchen approaching from the roadside. His tall, upright figure appeared even more handsome and dashing under the sunlight, exuding a noble and graceful charm.
Across the air, their gazes met, and a tender warmth immediately surfaced on Mo Xiuchen’s handsome features. His brows relaxed, and his smile was indescribably charming and captivating. His eyes intensely locked onto hers as he strode toward her.
Wen Ran felt a surge of joy, and a bright smile blossomed on her face.
Next to her, Gu Kai frowned, looking displeased at the approaching Mo Xiuchen. That guy was really annoying, always coming over to compete with him for his sister.
“Ranran, you mustn’t go with Mo Xiuchen, you promised me that you’d have lunch with me and Dad,” Gu Kai reminded Wen Ran as Mo Xiuchen approached.
When they left, Gu Yan was still a bit busy and had told them, the siblings, to go to the restaurant first and that he would join them shortly.
Sure enough, just as they were leaving, they ran into Mo Xiuchen.
“Ranran, Ah Kai, where are you heading?” Mo Xiuchen asked with a smile from a few steps away. Although he addressed them both, his gaze, from the moment he saw Wen Ran, had not shifted away.
Wen Ran said in a bright tone, “I promised my brother that I’d join him and Dad for lunch. Mo Xiuchen, what brings you here?”
“I was worried about you, just came to check on you,”
Mo Xiuchen’s eyes carefully inspected her, his gaze growing tender and affectionate as he surmised the purpose of her hospital visit. Realizing it could be that, a slight tightness formed in his chest, his eyes filled with increasing tenderness and concern.
Gu Kai rolled his eyes on the side, “Mo Xiuchen, Ranran is with me, what is there for you to worry about? You think I’d lose her or something?”
Mo Xiuchen squinted his eyes, his gaze coldly sweeping over Gu Kai, and he said nonchalantly, “Ranran has faced danger in the hospital before, hasn’t she? Last time, she almost got kidnapped, right?”
“You…”
Gu Kai was choked by his words and pursed his lips displeasedly, “Regaining your memory really wasn’t such a good thing.”
“Hehe, brother, do you feel that way too?”
Hearing Gu Kai’s words, Wen Ran couldn’t help but laugh, it seemed she wasn’t the only one who thought so.
“Ranran.” Mo Xiuchen frowned, how could Ranran side with Ah Kai?
However, Gu Kai’s eyes brightened, and his face quickly brightened as he looked at Wen Ran, “Ranran, so you think Mo Xiuchen is cuter when he hasn’t recovered his memory, right?” As he spoke, he glanced at Mo Xiuchen again, a mischievous smile forming on his lips:
“Ranran, how about we erase Mo Xiuchen’s memory again. Mo Xiuchen really is an anomaly. Normally, deleting memories through surgery isn’t like hypnosis, because it destroys the hippocampus where memories are stored, and it shouldn’t recover easily…?”
Mo Xiuchen frowned as he looked at Gu Kai, listening to his puzzled tone, “But this anomaly, Mo Xiuchen, he actually recovered his memories in just a few months. I initially thought it would take him three years at least to regain his memories, and even then, not all of them.”
“Brother, I’ve never heard you mention this before.” Wen Ran also furrowed her brows, looking puzzlingly at Gu Kai.
Gu Kai just laughed off, now that Mo Xiuchen had regained his memory, he dared to say these things to Ranran. If he had said it earlier, Ranran would have been very sad.
“Ranran, don’t listen to Ah Kai’s nonsense. Everything depends on human efforts; in this world, nothing is absolute.” Mo Xiuchen glanced at Gu Kai, reached out to grasp Wen Ran’s hand, gently tugged, and pulled her into his embrace, gently saying, “Ranran, let’s go have lunch.”
“Mo Xiuchen, you can’t take Ranran away.” Gu Kai’s handsome face changed, and he stretched out his hand to stop Mo Xiuchen from taking Ranran away.
Mo Xiuchen raised an eyebrow and brushed off his hand, “I didn’t say I was taking Ranran away, why are you so nervous? Did you guys decide where to go for lunch just now?”
Gu Kai, hearing him say he wasn’t taking Ranran away, was somewhat surprised; this guy had suddenly become nicer.
Mo Xiuchen smiled, showing a very filial expression, “Ranran hasn’t had lunch with Dad for a long time; since we have time today, of course, we should dine with Dad.”
Even when he had not reunited with Ranran and didn’t know she was the daughter of the Gu family, Mo Xiuchen had always respected Gu Yan, who showed more concern for him than Mo Jingteng.
One might even say Gu Yan had compensated for the fatherly love he needed in his youth; now that he had married Ranran, he regarded Gu Yan even more like his own father.
The three of them arrived at the restaurant, and Gu Kai made a phone call to Gu Yan, telling him, “In a little while, I will be there.”
“Ranran, apart from visiting Zhou Tiantian, what else did you do at the hospital?”
Gu Kai put away his phone, only to hear the gentle question from Mo Xiuchen beside him. His expression was serene, and his gaze tender as he stared at Wen Ran. Despite feeling jealous of his domineering, Gu Kai was actually very happy inside.
Mo Xiuchen and Ranran being together happily was the thing that made him happiest.
Watching their gazes lock onto each other made him feel happy and satisfied; feeling embarrassed to be a third wheel, he said, “I’ll step out for a moment,” and then got up and left.
Wen Ran knew she couldn’t hide anything from the man in front of her. Hearing his question, she decided not to keep it from him any longer, she pursed her lips and said softly, “Mo Xiuchen, I had a physical examination this morning.”
A trace of distress mingled with the warmth in Mo Xiuchen’s eyes as he gently said, “Why didn’t you tell me, so I could have accompanied you?”
