"Take your time, love. No need to rush."
"I-I know what I'm doing, so you don't have to baby me. It's embarrassing..."
"There's no one here but us, so you don't need to be embarrassed. Just take it slow."
Lillian took a deep breath as she resumed the arduous task in front of her.
In an effort to prove that being pregnant had not in any way inhibited her ability to function independently of her loved ones, Lillian had been trying to do everything on her own for the past six months.
And yet, there was one area that she always ended up caving and asking for help with. Putting on her shoes.
Without the use of magic, or her loved ones, Lillian was borderline helpless when it came to this. So much for the embodiment of adaptation...
But after an absentminded wisecrack from Bekka at breakfast, she swore that she would no longer accept help from anyone else here.
Which was how she ended up floundering on the edge of the bed for four whole minutes.
Abaddon was kneeling just in front of her wearing a patient smile."...I don't need help." Lillian insisted.
"I'm not helping. Just watching."
"Y-You can't watch! Face the wall like all those bitches!"
Abaddon glanced at the other side of the room where the rest of his wives were standing against the wall like prisoners waiting for cavity searches.
...Coincidentally, Abaddon had already imagined giving them one. So had Valerie, but that was before she realized that she was also on the receiving end of Lillian's cold shoulder.
Bekka: "Hey! We said we were sorry, alright! There's no reason for you to be like-"
"What was that, Bitch #1?"
"Lilli!!"
Abaddon bit his lip to prevent himself from laughing.
He decided to bite the bullet instead and grabbed Lillian by her foot- to her immediate displeasure.
"H-Hey, you're supposed to be-"
"I know that you can do this on your own, my love. But did we not get married to aid each other always, even when we do not need it?"
"Of course we did, but-"
"Then you should have no problem sitting still for me, yea?"
Abaddon helped Lillian pull on her sandals in under a minute.
Though she still looked embarrassed, there was also a part of her that was undoubtedly touched by the amount of affection she could feel through his actions.
Abaddon placed her feet down and gave her a warm kiss on the stomach that she had started to find cumbersome.
Lillian wrapped her arms around Abaddon's neck and stared into her eyes warmly.
"Sometimes, I want to keep you all to myself when you do things like this... Why don't we get a divorce from those things over there, and-"
"FAT CHANCE!!"
The girls collectively forgot about their punishment and lunged onto the pair of lovers collectively.
The two of them were bitten, tickled, nuzzled, and licked until the point that they could not even consider escaping even if they wanted to.
Abaddon was on the ground trying to escape from underneath Sif, Lailah, and Tatiana.
Somehow, he'd made it all the way to the bedroom door, and stopped when he noticed a pair of non-feminine black feet in his room.
He slowly looked up and found his youngest son Bashenga standing in the doorway.

"...I will simply come back later." Bashenga turned around.
"No!"
The wives practically trampled over Abaddon to stop him from leaving.
As much as Abaddon was disappointed, he couldn't exactly say that he didn't understand their excitement.
Bashenga was born stand-offish.
From the moment he first started talking, Abaddon could count on one hand the amount of times that he'd asked them for something selfish.
He was very different from Courtney, who asked for three different cars on the day she got her driver's license.
Bash had never even come to his parents' room voluntarily before.
Hell, before this moment, Abaddon wasn't even sure his son knew where it was.
With all of that taken into account, Abaddon was equally curious as them about the reason for their son's sudden visit.
"Is it true that you all are traveling to the God-Lands today?" He asked, as cool and regal as ever.
"We are." Abaddon nodded as he sat up. "A bit of a working trip that Asherah recommended I take."
"Do you want to go with us by chance??" Eris beamed.
"I…"
Bashenga was nearly blinded by the sparkly eyes of his mothers; seemingly willing him not to say no.
His father, while curious, was not nearly as intense about it, but he did stare holes into his son as if he were trying to mentally goad an answer out of him.
"…I would not be above such an excursion."
The wives collectively gasped in excitement.
"But if I witness any of you place your lips upon each other then I will come home instantly." He said firmly.
"We'll try not to overdo it." Audrina promised.
Abaddon wasn't promising a god damned thing. Affection was his reason for waking up in the morning.
He thrived on touching and kissing his wives. Sometimes it happened without him even realizing it.
They attended one of Courtney's track meets a little while ago and he had to erase the minds of everyone who saw him unconsciously grow his tail so that he could hit Lisa on the butt with it.
In Tehom time, they had been together for over a billion years. And yet, he was no closer to solving this mental distortion of his.
But hey, he was still trying so that counted for something, right..?
-
"I'm going home."
"W-Wait, why?! We aren't even doing anything this time!"
"Then what do you call this?!"
Within a carriage-like setting, Bashenga was sitting across from his gushing parents.
To their credit, they weren't kissing or touching each other inappropriately.
But their tails were tightly intertwined.
This was another very intimate dragon gesture, and one that was not usually done lightly.
Bash thought that he may very well throw up.
The three were sitting in a palanquin big enough to fit a full size truck inside comfortably.
It was strapped to the back of a large, gray skinned lizard-like creature with multiple pairs of fierce red eyes and bony protrusions coming out of it's scales.
Gandora was almost like a work horse in a sense that she became a little depressed when she had nothing at all to do.
As such, she was more than happy to lug the family along on her great big back.
Once she made herself big enough to carry the three of them of course…
Long before the three had fully left the abyss, Abaddon looked a little different.
As he split himself like he normally did when leaving Tehom, he felt his long hair go back into his head and his eyes unconsciously turned gold.
Reflecting his distinguished age, a roguish stubble formed around his mouth and on his jaw. His hair also became heavenly white.
There could be no doubts that Helios was this man's grandfather. He looked exactly like him.
Albeit a fair bit more handsome… but no one should ever mention that to the golden dragon.
Ayaana felt herself start to salivate as her hands developed the desperate urge to grope something. "Dilf."
"I'm going home." Bash stood up as his own skin unconsciously became a softer brown and his strange eyes much less intimidating.
""No!""
"Then stop using Courtney's earth words!"
"Never! Your mothers are allowed to have fun too!"
"Ugh…" Their son rolled his eyes as Ayaana treated her husband like a chia pet and rubbed her hands all over his face and upper body.
He tried to ignore it the best he could, or else he would have torn his own eyes out.
"…This really is an unofficial visit. It's been a while since I've seen that body."
"Hopefully it will mitigate the panic a bit. Last time I showed up here in my full body the entire place was on it's knees before I even started walking up the steps." Abaddon sighed.
All of that panic just because he went to return one tiny little dish that had been left at his house…
"It's rare for you to want to join us on an outing, baby boy." Ayaana noted. "Is there a reason behind it, or were you just looking to get out of the house?"

Bash stared at his bare feet unconsciously as he sought after an answer.
"It is nothing of serious concern. I simply wanted to get out for a moment."
"Not surprised that you wanted to leave that black void you call a room… I wish you would at least put some furniture in there or something." Abaddon shook his head.
"The lack of furnishings and modern comforts is intentional, to make you all not want to stay."
"And how exactly is that working out for you?"
"…" Bash thought of yesterday, when Thea and Mira came into his domain and started doing infinite backflips through his nothingness.
"…Poorly." He finally admitted.
Suddenly, the three dragons felt the atmosphere outside the palanquin change entirely.
Their carriage rumbled as Gandora made an unsubtle landing and no doubt cracked the ground too.
"Are we here already?" Bash yawned.
"It would seem-"
"AHHHHH!!! WHAT IS THATTT!!?!"
"The gods!! Someone get the gods!!"
"The end of everything we know is upon us AGAIN!!"
"""…""" As the three listened to the panic outside, they all suppressed their snickers.
Honestly… it was always such a hassle whenever they arrived on Mount Olympus.
