“She has yet to awaken the true power of the Celestial Fox, huh!?” Muttering, Bull Demon’s gaze also shifted towards the sphere not far away.
In the hazy red light, Bull Demon apparently saw a Red Fox with four tails, roaring at the sky, assuming a fearsome posture that intimidated all creatures.
*Haaa…* Exhaling a long deep breath, Bull Demon calmed down his worried heart. [If my guess is really right, then this might be an opportunity for Elder Sister.]
As this thought crossed their minds, the nearby Bull Demon and Golden Ant both tacitly glanced at each other and nodded before assuming defensive positions on either side of Nine Tails, guarding her.
On the other side, Qing Gang also stood silently by the sea of blood, guarding Thorns.
After just a war, both Nine Tails and Thorns were undergoing transformations.
There was no denying that this was good news for Misty Mountains.
It also proved their Master’s words, ‘Only through the experience of blood and fire can one truly grow.’
…Time slowly trickled. During this time, another person had arrived.
This person, adorned with a prismatic glow around her shoulders, and a long flute entwined with strands of Spiritual Energy in her hand, walking in a slow gait, looked like a fairy.
However, looking at the blood splatters on the hem of this young girl’s dress, the pupils of the countless Mutant Beasts couldn’t help but shrink.
They didn’t believe these bloodstains belonged to herself?
After all, this was the Five-Colored Spirit Flower, Aurora, another terrifying existence from Misty Mountains.
In terms of combat power, apart from the Divine Tree, possibly no one in Misty Mountains truly understood how terrifying Aurora was.
However, one thing was for sure: Aurora had never truly taken action.
“It’s already over…” chuckling, Aurora’s gaze focused on the corner where Nine Tails and Thorns were located at first notice.
Confirming with a nod, Bull Demon grimly stated, “This time, the Rat Clan has suffered massive casualties. Only one in ten managed to survive.”
“No need to fret.” Pursing her lips slightly, Aurora’s psychic power flickered and vanished.
In a moment of relief, she noticed that almost all of the remaining Mutant Rats had begun to quietly undergo transformations.
Among them, one or two branches with good potential seemed to have been born.
For example, there were a few whose fur had turned red, evolving into blood-colored Gorerats, a new species born after slaying too many Gorewolves and consuming their carcasses. To a certain extent, they inherited the ferocious nature of the Gorewolves, and even their Innate Talents had evolved.
However, Aurora was still unable to detect the specific changes, only the Divine Tree could.
Apart from the Gorerats, there was another branch that looked promising.
And the source of this branch was surprisingly…
With a slight narrowing of her eyes, Aurora’s gaze fell on a corner of the grassland, where countless Mutant Rats were gathered.
It seemed like they were guarding, yet waiting.
And at their center, a peculiar rat with black and white fur happened to be lying.
*Haaaa…*
With each rising and falling breath, its entire body was strengthening at a terrifying speed.
“Another Tier-3 Mutant Rat…” A smile bloomed on Aurora’s lips, feeling satisfied.
After all, the birth of another Tier-3 Transcendent in the Rat Clan was not as simple as when another Tier-3 was born in another Clan.
Due to their unique Racial Innate Talent, every time a King was born, their Innate Talent and abilities would affect the entire Clan.
In other words, the appearance of a King would make the entire kind significantly stronger.
Just like Shadie’s black fog, which could not only hide the Rat Clan’s presence, but could also mitigate a considerable amount of damage.
Or the Lightning Rat’s lightning speed, which gave rise to the Lightning Branch of the Rat Clan.
In this battle, those Mutant Golden Rats truly dominated the entire battlefield, transforming into golden lightning.
The advent of a King was a result which after sacrificing nearly a million of their own clansmen in exchange, the Rat Clan could presumably accept.
In addition, the entire Rat Clan had made a considerable contribution in this war.
Essentially, the Rat Clan would be receiving a massive amount of resources according to the rewards and punishments system of Misty Mountains.
To some extent, these resources may even give birth to another King.
With so many benefits, the Rat Clan was definitely not at a loss, it could even be said they hit the jackpot.
Be that as it may, mourning the sacrifices was also high, despite the benefits.
…
Shortly after Aurora arrived…
*Haaaa…* Breathing heavily, a rather plump figure wearing a bamboo hat had arrived, to the perplexed gazes of Mutant Beasts and even Aurora.
However, the reason why the Mutant Beasts were perplexed was that the figure happened to be injured.
They were shocked by the fact that the Great Beast, renowned for its terrifying defense and unfathomable nature in the Misty Mountains, had been injured.
“Old Ninth…” Bull Demon called out with worry, his expression subtly shifting.
“It’s nothing,” Brewmaster reassured, lifting his bamboo hat slightly in response to Bull Demon’s worried tone. There was a hint of excitement in his voice as he added, “It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a thrilling battle…”
“Huh?” Bull Demon was slightly startled, feeling a little helpless.
Indeed, a thrilling battle was always welcomed eagerly.
However, the prime focus at this moment was on who could have possibly injure Brewmaster.
On closer inspection, a deep, gaping wound about three inches deep could be seen on Brewmaster’s abdomen. Additionally, his left arm hung loosely, seemingly shattered.
Although with Brewmaster’s recovery ability, coupled with the Life Essence bestowed by Yu Zi Yu, it would only take half a day to recover from such injuries. Nevertheless, it was still astonishing that someone with such formidable defenses as Brewmaster could be injured.
After all, even when Bull Demon struck with all his might, he only managed to send Brewmaster flying a kilometer, crashing into a canyon. Yet, moments later, Brewmaster stood up, brushed off the dust, and carried on.
This was Brewmaster, a formidable figure with a robust and sturdy defense. His body has undergone multiple mutations from prolonged consumption of various minerals. Additionally, he possessed a notable resistance to multiple Elements.
Even if several, or even a dozen powerful Transcendents of the same tier besieged him, he could still hold his own. Although Brewmaster might not necessarily defeat them, it was also extremely difficult for these guys to defeat him.
Yet, this monster was injured, and his injuries weren’t light either.
“Hehe…” However, Brewmaster kept grinning, despite his injuries.
Just a moment later, seemingly noticing the surprise on Bull Demon’s and even Golden Ant’s faces, Brewmaster explained, “I accidentally ran into my biological Big Bro and had a fight with him.Although I got injured, he didn’t have it easy either.”
At this point, a look of pride appeared on Brewmaster’s face as he added with a smile, “Additionally, he definitely thinks this is the extent of my power. But you know, I haven’t even used several of my Tier-3 Artifacts… I’ve kept a few cards up my sleeve.”
Immediately after, to the perplexed gazes of each Mutant Beast, the earth beneath Brewmaster’s feet suddenly shook violently.
For a moment, a large amount of Elemental Energy surged from the ground beneath Brewmaster’s feet, and his injuries began to visibly heal at an astonishing speed.
Earth’s Revival – While on the ground, remaining as still as a mountain grants a significantly increased recovery speed by absorbing the Power of Earth. Most importantly, it provides a vastly extended stamina. This was an exceptional trump card.
To allow his Big Brother to maintain his prestige, he chose to keep a few tricks up his sleeve. Otherwise, his Big Brother’s reputation wouldn’t fare well.
