Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 2597 - 2597: Qi Manipulation

“It’s all about knowing where your Qi is and pulling it out of your body. Just feel your Qi, draw it out of your body. Just try it. Using Qi is very natural to a cultivator,” Alex said and looked around.

The various people made different faces, trying to do as Alex said. They did what they could, but they weren’t so good at doing it.

Alex frowned. He didn’t realize Qi Manipulation would be this difficult for these people at all.

He tried to remember back to how he started, which in fact was how his clone started, and remembered that it had more or less been easy. At least, he hadn’t struggled this way.

‘Well, I am talented. So maybe it is supposed to be difficult,’ Alex thought. These people were also quite weak in the cultivation base, so he didn’t blame them just yet.

“Pull your Qi out and cover your stone with it. Imagine as if the Qi were your hand and you are simply picking the stone up with your hand. Imagine it, and it will be easy.”

Alex looked around, searching for someone who could do it.

Many people seemed close to being able to. They were at least able to move around the pebble in their hand, but none could pick it up just yet.

That was until Wushu managed to do it. The young man, who wasn’t even 20 years old yet, successfully used his Qi to float the pebble in front of him. It took an intense amount of concentration on his part, but he was able to finally do it.

Everyone else stopped and looked at him.

Wushu struggled for a few seconds and finally dropped the pebble, himself kneeling down from the effort.

Alex clapped. “Well done, Wushu. That’s the way. It feels difficult right now, but keep trying, and it will be as easy as breathing.”

Wushu picked up the stone and got back up, a wide smile on his face. Without saying anything, he continued.

Seeing what Wushu was capable of, the others were motivated to try harder. So, they too concentrated on their own effort and became successful one after another.

Qi Manipulation wasn’t that difficult a thing at all. It was perhaps the most basic usage of Qi ever. So there was no doubt that they would pass, albeit perhaps at a different rate.

More people gathered and began being able to use Qi Manipulation.

By the time an hour passed, nearly half the tribe had come to the shore and had various items with them that they floated around.

Wushu had made an astonishing improvement by now, as he was capable of weaving his rock through the group and bringing it back. There was a level of sophistication in his manipulation that required quite a bit of talent.

‘He could easily join many large sects with such a talent,’ Alex thought. ‘Alas, there are none here.’

He watched everyone continue until the shadow of the mountain took over them. “Alright, everyone. Time to stop. You can continue it on your own time. Remember, the more you cultivate, the better you will get at this, so don’t skimp out on cultivation.”

After saying as much, Alex walked away.

Tara came up running to him. “What about that thing you did with your sword? When can I do that?” he asked.

“I already told you. Bone Tempering realm,” Alex answered.

“Ah! Right,” Tara said. “And how about that other thing?”

“What other thing?” Alex asked.

“The thing my father-in-law said you did. You talked underwater. What cultivation base do I need for that?” Tara asked.

Alex shook his head. “I’m afraid that is not possible at all. You need to reach the Saint realm to open up your Spiritual Sea, and without it, you cannot use your spiritual sense at all.”

“My… what?”

“Spiritual sense,” Alex said before using his own spiritual sense to complete the rest of the sentence. “That’s how I talk like this.”

Tara jerked away in fear before realizing what had just happened. “So this is what he was talking about. Is there no way for me to learn this skill?”

“I’m afraid not,” Alex said. “There is supposed to be a thing that helps with it, but I haven’t found it in this mountain. I’m afraid it is unlikely you’ll be able to do it.”

The lack of Spirit Cleansing Lily was not something he could easily fix. There may be some in his Soul Space, but he couldn’t take anything out of there right now, so these people would have to be okay with what they had.

Mili ran out of the house just as he arrived and stopped. “Why are you back? I was just about to go to the beach.”

“Oh, I’m sorry. It’s over for today. You can learn tomorrow.”

“What? I missed it? No!” Mili cried out, pouting. “It was all because Mother made me prepare the greens for dinner.”

She turned toward Tara. “It’s your fault, honestly. This was my sister’s job, and now I have to do it.”

Tara was taken aback. “Uhh… if it’s any consolation, she still has to do it back at our house.”

Mili scrunched her brows. “How is that supposed to be any consolation?”

Alex laughed. “Let’s go in. I’ll teach you after dinner.”

“You have to,” Mili said and went back to the house.

“Alright, I should get back too. I’ll see you tomorrow.”

Tara left back to his hut, and Alex went back to training with his Intent.

At dinner, he gathered in the hall with the other three, and that was when the chief brought up something that he had been thinking about for a while now.

“When do you plan on leaving?”

The wife gasped. “Have some shame. He’s helped us so much, and you want him to leave?”

“What? No, I was just asking if he’s planning to or not. I don’t want him to leave, but we can’t make him stay,” the man quickly said before turning toward Alex. “Have you made any plans?”
