Eternal Cultivation Of Alchemy

Chapter 2595 - 2595: Wooden Sword

Before Alex knew it, everyone in the village had begun cultivating. The only ones that weren’t cultivating were the kids, but they too would cultivate when they were of age.

Not everyone was talented the same way. Some people were faster at cultivating than others. The one who turned out to be the fastest was a young man by the name of Wushu. In a single night, he managed to break through from the 2nd Skin Tempering realm all the way up to the 5th.

With his strength, he would far surpass everyone.

It took Alex about three days to teach them everything about cultivating. The knowledge had been passed along, so now all they had to do was use it to their fullest.

Alex trained by himself too. In the past three days, he had gotten much better at using his Intent. Now, not only could he lift the tiny pebbles, but also move them around in the air.

He couldn’t do it for long, but it was progress nonetheless. He just had to continue, and he could get better.

He was in his room, playing around with the rocks when Tara came in running. “They’re ready!” he shouted. “It’s been made.”

Alex stopped, the pebbles falling to the ground. “Is that so? Alright, let me see.”

He left his room along with Tara and made his way toward the mountain where they kept large wood. It was there that they prepared firewood as well as various furniture.

Alex had given them a simple task this time, and if they weren’t lying, they had done it.

Alex arrived to see the chief holding onto a wooden sword. It was quite crude and unbalanced even from just the look of it, but in a place where metal seemed to be lacking, this was all they could make.

Alex took the sword and looked at it. He swung it around and measured its durability. There were splinters of the wood left on the surface that would have to be scrubbed away later on. For now, it was a sword he could use.

“Is it really that good?” Tara asked. “It’s not even sharp. I don’t see how this is a weapon at all.”

“It’s not sharp because it’s not made of metal. Otherwise, it would be sharp like the chief’s knife.”

Tara accepted that as the answer. “What now?” he asked.

“Now… I need to test something,” Alex said, looking around. He noticed a pile of leftover wood that could only be used as firewood.

He lifted his sword and swung.

A glinting slash left from his sword, streaking through the air until it arrived at the pile. The pile was immediately cleaved in half, the materials flying in all directions, mostly cut in half.

Was that weaker than a regular slash?

‘I must still be tired from all the Intent training. It’s affecting my Sword Qi and Sword Aura,’ Alex thought.

He sent out another two attacks, each similarly destroying the remaining pile.

“I really do need a sword to release my Sword Intent,” Alex said before lowering the sword. “Now I need to learn how to create it when I’m not holding onto my sword.”

He looked around and saw the look of shock on the faces of the few that were gathered there. Not a single one of them could believe what they were seeing at all.

“What… what did you just do?” Tara asked.

“What happened just now? I saw a light,” the chief claimed.

Alex looked around for a spot on him to place the sword, but there wasn’t any. He would have to ask them to create a sort of holster. But for now, he would have to hold it.

“I will teach you guys later once your cultivation base is a little higher. Let’s say… Bone Tempering realm. That sounds good enough,” Alex said.

“I can do that too?” Tara asked, stunned.

“Maybe not exactly that, but close enough,” Alex said. “Just let me know when you’ve broken through to the Bone Tempering realm. Although, I should teach you something else before that. Did you break through last night?”

Tara nodded. “I’m in the 7th realm now,” he said. “And I tried what you said. I think I can hold my breath for over four minutes now.”

“It will be longer soon,” Alex said. “Alright, thanks for the sword. I’m going to go hunt some more fish. Have your people come get the meat if they want to.”

As Alex left, he heard the chief hurriedly tell Tara to have the others be ready to go to the ocean.

Alex walked through the tribe, making his way down the beach. The atmosphere around the place had changed so much now in just a few days. Everyone was a cultivator now, so they were much more energetic.

People sat around in groups, talking about their cultivation accomplishments, comparing their cultivation bases. A few fights even broke out, but nothing that couldn’t be squashed easily.

‘And yet,’ Alex thought. ‘Their body cultivation is much stronger. How is that really possible?’

Alex had arrived at one possibility in the past few days. The only factor that was true between both the men and women was the fact that they ate the meat of the fish they caught.

He wondered now if the fish’s meat had something to do with their increase in body cultivation.

The fish themselves had a secret of their own that Alex couldn’t yet find either. These fish were supposed to be at the peak of the True Emperor 9th realm at the most, and yet their size was easily that of a beast in the Saint realm.

It simply did not match at all.

There was something going on with the fish, which was why he considered them to be what caused these people to be so strong.

Alex arrived in the middle of the sea with his wooden sword. Sword Intent covered his sword, giving it a white outline that began softly lighting the seafloor.

It was time to hunt these fish again.
